At the moment I’m making a Life  Journal about my own life. It’s actually surprisingly funny, and a lot of old memories come to life during the process. Maybe someday it’ll be an exciting thing to read for my kids and grandkids.

For this I’ve made a nice background using My Stick repositionable dispenser, Glimmermist and stamps.

I started out by making a lot of lines with the My Stick repositionable dispenser . It’s not easy to see, but here’s a photo of the original paper.

After using the My Stick repositionable dispenser, I sprayed with Glimmermist in two different colors; Blue and golden brown.

After that I placed a stencil on top and sprayed with some black mist.

On this photo the blue looks green, but it is actually blue.

When all was dry I rubbed off all the My Stik. I simply used my fingers.

It’s funny how there’s suddenly a whole new pattern on the paper.

Finally I played around using different stamps, tape, paper, ribbons etc.

I’ve used E-Z runner to fasten the papers, and 3 D Foam Squares under the picture and flowers.

I’m very inspired by the Polish Anna Dabrowska. She’s amazingly sweet and has held several courses in Denmark. I really love her style.

Handmade cards are always well received, and while it may have been quick for the crafter, the recipient loves it and feels special you took the time!  I covered my white card base with some My Minds Eye Stella and Rose paper using the MyStik Dispenser.   The label die cut is popped up with 3D Foam Squares and the rolled up flower is adhered with Dodz.

A few simple elements, and pretty paper, and now I have a fabulous card ready for the giving.

Above the photo I added the American Crafts ribbon with the red My Stick Dispenser. The width of ribbon and adhesive works fantastic!

On the layer of the photo I love to use the white 3D Foam squares. These are my absolutely favorites. I think it gives the layouts a really cool dimension look.

On the little fabric butterfly I used the small size 3D Foam Squares.

Planning his birthday party with a soccer theme I needed something to make the printed invites more in line with the rest of the theme. So I found some paper in my stash with a soccer print, some yellow cardstock, a star punch and 2 of my favorite adhesives:

For the treasure hunt at the birthday party I will also make candybag toppers with the same papers and star punch – so easy to assemble with the Scrapbook adhesives by 3L

Today, I decided to make a bright fun card, perfect to send to a friend to brighten their day.

First, start off by gathering a few supplies:  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L white foam squares, MyStik Dispenser, white card stock (embossed), stamps, black ink, die cut, flower die cuts, ribbon, satin ribbon

Stamp a sentiment with black ink onto the circle die cut, apply adhesive.

Apply die cut to card front.

Adhere some 3D Foam Squares (white) to the back of the flowers.

Adhere flowers to the card front.

To embellish add coordinating ribbon, tie a bow.

Trim off excess ribbon, and your card is ready to send or give away.  It will be sure to brighten anyones day!

Hi! It’s Kimberly with a fun way to use glitter, cardstock and Adhesive Sheets!

For this project, I used 6×12” sheets. These Adhesive Sheets turn a piece of cardstock into something sticky and wonderful!

The sheets each have fantastic directions on the back, but I am going to show you just how easy they are to use.

Start by removing the small yellow strip of backing from the Adhesive Sheet.

Apply the top of the Adhesive Sheet to the top of your cardstock, sticky side down. Slowly peel the yellow backing off the Adhesive Sheet. Smooth the sheet out as you go. Once you reach the end, the cardstock is ready.

Cut the background piece to size and die cut another piece with a butterfly. A fantastic feature of these Adhesive Sheets is, they do not gum up your paper trimmer or manual die cutting machine and dies!

Peel the backing from the rectangular piece of cardstock. Then place the die cut butterfly down. DO NOT remove the backing from the front of the butterfly.

Generously sprinkle glitter over the entire piece of cardstock. Gently push and rub the glitter into the adhesive. Remove the excess. NOW you can remove the backing of the Adhesive Sheet from the butterfly.

Sprinkle another color of glitter over the butterfly. Again, very gently, rub the glitter into the adhesive. Remove the excess glitter.

To adhere the background to the card base, you will need to apply adhesive to the cardstock because you used the sticky side to hold the glitter.

There you have it, a very cool way to use Adhesive Sheets and glitter to create a beautiful card. Imagine this idea with Fun Flock too!

Now here is how I  made it.   First I used my ever trusty MyStik Permanent Strips to adhere the patterned paper to the card.

I then used it again to adhere the burlap trim.

Then I used the Thin 3D Foam Squares to adhere the center of my stamped embellishment.

Then to add more dimension I used the 3D Foam Squares to adhere the embellishment to the card.

And voila!

Such an easy and great card for a boy graduate.   Enjoy!

Today I have a card to share with you.  I made this using a piece of cardstock which I cut to be 6 inches x 12 inches. I scored it at the 2 inch, and 4 inch mark. The last 8 inches I folded in half.  The card stands up and folds out, I cut up strips of my favorite Graphic 45 Print Papers. The collection I used is there New Olde Curiosity shoppe. I made two tags which hang of the card. One is on each of the 4 inch pieces. I am loving my MyStik Permanent Strips Dispenser

The MyStik Permanent Strips Dispenser makes quick work of any project. I wanted to use photo corners on my project. They are one of my favorite products. Although I mostly use black one, I wanted to use blue ones on my card. I  love the fact that the Scrapbook Adhesives make theirs out of paper ones. The Photo Corners-Classic Style, White are perfect for inking. The fact that they are white means I can ink them blue,  it wasn’t quite the shaded I wanted, so I inked them again lightly with a black ink pad, then over the top again with the blue. The inks blended beautiful on the paper corners.

I chose some paper flowers to match my print papers and layered them together. The DODZ Medium are great to use for this. Glue can be messy to work with, it can get every where and soak through the paper flowers. Using a glue dot means no glue where you don’t want it to be and no dark stains. I wanted to have a glitter center for my flower. I used a DODZ and just tipped the glitter onto it and lightly blew the excess off.  

I used a chipboard frame from Imaginarium Designs, which I backed with a piece of print paper, added my flower and place the finished piece on the front of my card using 3D Foam Squares-Black Variety Pack. These squares are perfect for when you want to raise up an embellishment and very easy to use. I love the fact that you get both sizes in one pack. The small ones are my favorite.

For the back of the card I used a chipboard phase from Imaginarium Designs inked black.

The card is big enough to include a photo or special message, you could add more tags and turn it into a mini book.
