Since the pay from my texting job has decreased, I have been searching every where for more ways to earn a few extra dollars. Right now I will take what I can get as long as I get paid like I am supposed to! Anyone heard of Paid2YouTube? You can get paid to view youtube videos, comment on them and subscribe to them! So far, so good and I've heard good things about them. They pay via paypal and you can cash out at $10.00! You don't have to watch the entire video either you can just watch a few seconds of it, click off of it and still get credit for it! You do have to have a youtube account to use this service, obviously, but if you don't have one it is very simple to sign up for one!

I haven't forgotten about this blog, just been a bit difficult finding time to write in here now that I'm in college on top of everything else I do! I have a few other things that I will be posting about soon. I know times are hard right now and everyone is willing to do what they need to do to earn a few extra bucks. I hope I can help! Magpie for Twitter, ripoff??

In a post I wrote a few months ago I talked about using Magpie to make money with your twitter account. Well, apparently it's not as wonderful as I first thought!

I got an email from Magpie a few days ago informing me that my account has been suspended due to too many automated tweets. First of all, as far as I know, at least 95% of Twitter users use programs to automatically send out their tweets! What is wrong with that?? Is it wrong that I can't just sit online 24 hours a day like some do and send out tweets all day long one by one? I've always tried to throw in some personal tweets and funny/interesting tweets, too to give it a more personal touch! I like using Twitter to promote my blogs and other things that I do online! What exactly is wrong with that? What is wrong with using a program that just makes things easier for busy people? Magpie has continued to send out their advertising tweets abd have received plenty of legit hits. How am I cheating anyone or anything just because I automate some of my tweets??

I hope that Magpie is not trying to do what I've heard google adsense has done to a lot of people! I hadn't checked my stats in a few weeks but I do know that I was getting pretty close to payout. NOW they want to suspend my account which means I lose all of the money that I have earned and I can't even get to my stats now to see what amount I was at!? I just lose everything! They tell me that the only way I can remedy this is to make sure that less than 15% of all my tweets are automated! Less than 15%, are u freakin' kiddin' me?? Kiss my ass Magpie. You got your money and now you want to steal mine??

Businesses post jobs that they need done, it can be anything from web design to running a facebook business page, writing... etc.. You can make your own profile and wait for jobs to come to you or you can "bid" on a job. Most of these are very high paying jobs and I've heard nothing but great things about elance. Do you have an eye for photography? There are companies out there that will PAY you for your photography!

Shutterstock is free to join. You can upload your photos to their site and every time someone downloads your photo for use you get paid! I'm going to try it out myself sometime when I can find the time for it!

istockphoto has a little better pay structure however they are a lot more strict! First of all, you have to take a test regarding what can and can not be uploaded or used in your photography or graphic art. They have high standards for photos and your photos have to be approved before you will be accepted. I submitted 3 photos awhile back and was denied. You are able to try again but I just haven't taken time to mess with it!

What other great way to make money than to make it by doing something you enjoy? I happen to love photography and I hope that eventually some of my photography can make me a little bit of money! If you have a creative eye and love photography why not give it a try??

P.S. I also want to apologize for not updating lately. I just recently started school so now on top of 3 young kids and working, I have school 12 hours a week and homework!! I need more hours in my day to get everything done!! I hope you will all bare with me for awhile?? xo

Basically, you post some sexy pics of yourself (do not have to be nude, just pretty and sexy!). Men who are interested will pay you for some extra things like emails, live chat, special private pics (again, do not have to be nude, just whatever you are comfortable with) and live cam chats. I've talked to a few girls who use this site and make a nice amount of money!

It's up to you if you want to give this a shot. Some women have good luck with it, others don't! To sign up you have to post a few normal pics of yourself and then you have to post a verification picture that shows you holding a sign that says, "mygirlfund.com". That pic is to verify that it is really YOU in the pics and you are not just stealing someone else's pics to use.

I signed up for this but was never verified. I sent a few emails to customer service with no reply. About a week after I signed up my account was cancelled due to non verification. Thinking that maybe my verification photo wasn't good enough I signed up again with a different email address and took a few new verification photos. Still not verified. I sent numerous emails again to customer service with no response. Out of money desperation I decided to try it one more time. This time I used FIVE verification pics and still was not verified! I was very disappointed especially after talking to other girls who said they were verified within hours, some even minutes and were all ready making fat cash! I also spoke to girls who went through the same thing as me and could not get verified!

So, I leave this one up to you! I know that they DO pay, it's just a matter of getting verified and getting your foot in the door. There is no set criteria that you have to meet as far as looks go. Trek Pay is another website that pays you to look at ads. You log in daily and you gain points by looking at websites. Some of them have extra incentives to earn more points by having you click on an advertising link on their page. So far it's pretty easy and I'm sure if you log in every day you could rack up a lot of points. My problem is I just forget to log in and do it every day, haha. You can only look at the ads once every 24 hours and they are very strict about fradulent clicking. They have new advertisements added daily.

They send you advertisements through the postal mail and then you log into the website and enter the code that is provided on the advertisement and you get paid! Some great Twitter tools and tips!

I wrote an earlier post about the many uses of Twitter and how you can use it to benefit your blogs and/or website! I've been using it for awhile and just wanted to share some of the tools that I have been using to make things a bit easier!

You could spend all day long posting tweets however there are tools available to help you post everything you want without having to be on the computer all day long and you can also earn money!

Rev Tweet is a great way to earn money through your Twitter account. How it works is that you post some of their ads as a Tweet and you get paid when someone clicks on the ad! If you have a good following this could be something great! I'm all ready earning!

Magpie works the same way as Revtweet. I've already made over $9 with them just over a few weeks and as my twitter following grows I'm sure my earnings will, too! The thing I love with Magpie is that you can turn on Auto-tweets and it will automatically post ads on your Twitter account throughout the day, you don't have to do a thing!

GetMeFollowers is a great way to do just that: get you followers! You earn points for following others and in return others follow you! My follower count has skyrocketed since joining this site!

TweetLater is my favorite tool to use with Twitter. You can store all of your tweets here and schedule what time you want them to be tweeted; in an hour, in two hours, three hours... etc.. They also have auto direct messaging set up so when someone follows you it will automatically send out a direct message from you to them. You can set to automatically follow others that follow you or you can pick and choose. You can also sign up for Tweet Later Professional which has even more controls to use over your Twitter account! You can set your tweets to post every so many hours (however many you choose) and it will keep reposting them until you turn them off! You just set them up and sit back and let it do the work for you! You can do just about anything from right here!

I also wanted to give out a little bit of advice on using Twitter. These are just formed from my own opinions but these are some ways that I think you can KEEP your followers following you!

First of all, you need to make your Tweets interesting! Even if you are mainly using Twitter for monetary gain go ahead and throw some personal tweets in there as well! Talk about your day or things that you are interested in, reply to other tweets and get to know some of the other tweeters! Don't send out the same spammy Tweets over and over and over one after one. First of all, it's against TOS and second of all, it is really annoying! If you do this then I will most likely unfollow you very quickly! To keep it interesting I also like to throw in some quotes throughout the day, some inspirational or some funny ones, just to take away from the monatony of it all. Sometimes it seems that Twitter becomes just a bunch of advertisements and it gets old quickly reading through the same impersonal tweets! Make people interested in YOU and who you are! They may be more likely to visit your site that way!

Ok I did a few things with the looks of this place! Tried to make things look a little bit nicer. The only thing that I don't like is that I can't figure out how to make the area for the posting wider without kicking the sidebar down to the bottom?? If anyone can help just send me an email (link over on the left). I would really appreciate it!

So, a few things we have added include:

--An email icon so that you can email me directly if you have any questions or comments for me!
--A facebook badge so you can add me if you are on facebook.
--Also added a live chat box where you can chat with me if I am online at the time!
--Updated the blog roll...
--A tweet this button on all postings.. if you like what I post now you can click on the "tweet this" button if you are on Twitter!
--I'm sure I will be adding a few other things here and there! I just knew this place needed a change and I am happy with this for now!

I have quite a few new money making opportunities to post about soon! I really, really am going to try to start posting here more often. Damn, that sounded pathetic, lol! Life is just sooo busy right now and it's hard to find just a few minutes to myself to write in here!

Is working from home the right move for you?

When most people think of working from home they dream of how wonderful it would be to do just that. However, working from home isn't always easy. Like ANYTHING in life, working from home has its ups and its downs. There are some things to think about before trying to take the leap right into working from home. I'm going to go over the good and the bad here and be brutally honest about everything that comes along with working from home.

The pros: The ability to be home with your kids instead of sending them off to daycare or a sitter all day. The ability to be able to work in your PJ's. You use no gas to get to your computer! No need to worry about car repairs or transportation. The ability to take a vacation when YOU want to or being able to go to a doctors appointment without hassle. Not having to deal with annoying co-workers whom you may not get along with. You don't have to deal with annoying bosses breathing down your back.

These all sound wonderful and perfect don't they?

The cons: You usually have to do your own taxes. You don't work 9-5 Monday through Friday and be finished with work as soon as the clock strikes 5:00. You are essentially working ALL of the time; day time, night time, weekends. You can take vacations when you want but you wont get paid for it, therefore when you get back from vacation you have to figure out some sort of way to make up for all of the missed time and money you have lost out on! No paid vacations, no insurance, no 401k, no paid sick days. If you experience computer or internet problems, it is YOUR responsibility to get it taken care of. You wont get paid to sit there and do paperwork as you would in a normal office if equipment is down. Imagine trying to get your work done while taking care of your children! Stopping to make meals, or to break up arguments (if you have more than one child you know this can be an all day occurance!), put your child in time out or to fix a booboo. Can be a bit difficult to concentrate on your work when you have screaming children in the background! You also have to try to keep your children occupied while you work so they don't drive you crazy!

If you are like me, you may miss having adult conversations! Being at home with children all day every single day can really drive a person insane! I honestly miss the fun conversations with co-workers and the friendships you make with people you work with at a "normal" out of the home job. Not to mention the fun things like work holiday parties or Christmas bonuses!

Another problem that I have seen a lot of work at home people deal with is judgment from others. A lot of people think that if you work at home you have it easy because you don't work a "normal" job. They think that because you work at home you don't really work. Some of these people think that you can just drop whatever you are doing whenever you want and help them out or do things for them just because you work at home. They think that you should not be tired or stressed out because you work from home. They don't understand that sometimes working from home can be more stressful than working in an office!

Let's not forget you also have the friends who think that because you can work from home that they can, too and they will constantly bug you to "get them in" so that they can quit their job and have the "easy life". Ha!

There really are a lot of things to consider before quitting your day job and working from home. It's not as easy and fun as most people think it is. You need to think about what you can and can not deal with before making that big dive. Sometimes things aren't as wonderful as they may sound at first! I'm really not trying to bring negativity to those considering working from home. Working from home has really helped my family out a lot considering that we could never have afforded daycare for our three children, however now that my kids are getting older I'm thinking of the things that I miss working for an out of home office. I actually feel as if I work more than I would if I worked some where outside of the home. I also miss the socialization that comes along with working outside of the home. I guess we all have to weigh the pros and cons and find out what will work best for us!

I've recently come across a great easy way to make some quick cash! It's called youdata and they pay you money to click on ads! You don't have to stay there for a certain amount of time, all you have to do is click! You get paid via paypal. I joined on Thursday and got paid the very next day! It wasn't much but for only maybe two minutes of work I'm not going to complain!

You surely wont get rich off of this but I'm always willing to accept a little bit of spending cash each week!

Bangmatch a waste of time?

A few posts ago I talked about an adult service called Bangmatch that gave you a way to earn "pink points" which you could exchange for cash or gifts. It was great fun but I received an email today that they are doing away with the Pink Points! Maybe because they found out that so many people were doing it just to get points? I've no idea why! However, the minimum pink points you can cash in is 5,000. I don't have the minimum yet (I may have if it wasn't for my vacation and move!) so I guess I'm just screwed out of them?? I'm pretty irked if that's the case! They should let everyone cash out no matter how many they have so far! Soo, scratch Bangmatch off of your list! It was fun while it lasted!

Anyway, I'm back finally! Had a great vacation down south for a week last month. Saw a lot of beautiful places and met some great people there! We didn't want to come home! A week after we returned, we moved into our new house. I'm loving it but it has been so much work between getting our old house emptied out and cleaned and then having to unpack and get settled in at our new house. We are still not completely unpacked and settled but we are getting there slowly! I wish my kids were old enough to help but they end up making MORE work for me when they do try to help, lol!

I've missed blogging and will try to get back to posting regularly but forgive me if I'm a bit slow for now until everything is settled and calmed down!

In a few days I'm heading to Tennessee with my husband and 3 kids to visit my sister in law and her hubs. I'm very excited about this as I've never been there before and I love road trips! A Weegy expert is someone who answers people's "live" questions whether it be from your own knowledge or from researching the question online. You can also read through other older questions that have already been asked and add your own two cents and earn points. There are quite a few ways to earn points and if you can become a great expert there are ways to be able to earn even MORE points! They also have contests for those that earn the most points each month where you can earn cash on top of what you have already made. The more points you earn the higher your name goes up on the "expert list" and then you have even more opportunities to earn cash!

How to use Twitter to your advantage

Twitter has just exploded over the last few months. I never even heard of it until a few months ago to be honest! Then I didn't understand the concept of it at first but now it makes sense1

What exactly is Twitter?? Well, it's a sort of social networking where you just send out updates throughout the day. You can use it for strictly personal use just to keep your family and friends updated. It's a lot easier than emailing everyone separately!

Twitter is mostly being used now for networking for your online business or website. You can send out updates or "tweets" throughout the day and anyone who is following you can read your updates. You can add links in your updates which makes it a great tool for promotion! For instance, I can send out a tweet saying something along the lines of, "Would you like to find out how to make money from home?" and then add a link to this blog right here. Hopefully it will entice a few of my followers to click the link! I use it to promote my blogs, my Squidoo pages, my facebook page, anything that I am promoting or that I support. If you have not joined Twitter than I highly suggest that you do and get in on the buzz!

I've also found a great tool to help you find other twits (other Twitter users) with the same interest as you. I use Twellow and it has helped greatly in getting more followers and finding other users!

A great tool to use with Entrecard...

I mentioned Entrecard a few posts back. I have found it to be a great way to boost traffic to your blog! One problem with Entrecard is that it seems to take awhile to go to each blog then back to the Entrecard website to find another site to click on. I've found a great tool to use that will automatically pop up 10 blogs (all in new tabs) so that you can go from one blog to the next and drop your Entre-card there! It really speeds up the time and gets you Entrecard points very quickly! You can also ask to have your blog added to the list and everyone who uses the Entrecard Credit Generator will click on your blog! It is free and is a great help if you use Entrecard! About.com is looking for "guides" to write articles on specified subjects! They have a list of subjects that they are currently looking for writers on. You are required to write at least 4 articles a month and your pay is based on page growth, the more your page grows the more money you can make!

If you are selected from their applicants you will go through an extensive training process where your writing skills will be evaluated and critiqued and you will be taught how to use their publishing system.

If you make it to be a guide you will be compensated no less than $675 a month! If you do well it is possible to make $1,000 a month or more!

I think this is a GREAT opportunity for writers. Look through the list of subjects that they are looking for and if you feel that you are knowledgeable enough on a subject go ahead and apply! It can't hurt and it could turn into a great money making opportunity!

A Great Way To Get Traffic To Your Blog...

I recently came across a great way to get more traffic to your blog! Entrecard gives you credits for looking at other people's blogs. You go to their blog and "drop" your card on their Entrecard banner (placed on their blog). When you have collected enough credits you can buy an advertising spot on other blogs with your credits. Other Entrecard users can also buy an advertising spot on YOUR blog as well (which helps you build your credits, too!). I've noticed a great spike in my traffic since joining Entrecard. It's fun and easy to do!

Squidoo So Far...

First of all, I want to say that Squidoo is very addictive! I've now made a total of 12 lenses and 3 groups. I have a whole list in my desk drawer of other lenses I would like to create! Whenever an idea hits me I write it on my list.. something that I enjoy and am interested in.. or a cause that I would like to help out! Maybe ONE day I will make it to Giant Squid status?? One can wish, eh??

Although I'm not an expert on Squidoo yet, I can offer a little bit of advice for newbies. Once you have created your lens be sure to submit it to search engines. Make sure you use a lot of keywords and phrases so that people can find it easily! Lensroll other similar lenses. Join groups or make your own! There are all sorts of ways to network with other lenses on Squidoo. Also, make sure to join the forums and get the word out about your new lenses!

You can also add it to Lensroll.com, digg, and stumbleupon. The possibilities are endless. Use whatever resources you can find to get your lenses out to the world!

Put something interesting on your lense. Make people WANT to read it! Give them a reason to! You can also make some money by adding affiliate links on your page that have something in common with your lense subject.

If you have a blog, you can add an rss feed on your lense to help you get new clicks to your blog!

If you are not already a member of Twitter be sure to join up! Every time you update a Squidoo lense you can have it automatically update your twitter account with the link to that specific lense! Follow me on twitter: tatteredsoul77
