In terms of esoteric minutiae in science fiction cinema as translated to the edible form, the Severed Wampa Arm Cake really takes the…. wait for it… cake. Not only is this Star Wars cake pretty accurate looking, it’s sounds pretty freakin’ delicious.

That’s the guava jelly filling substituting for Wampa blood. The Wampa’s fur is actually coconut and his fingernails are Nestle Crunch Crisp bars. JustJenn has the complete recipe if you’d like to duplicate this at home, which is definitely easier (and tastier) than traveling all the way to Hoth, being entrapped by a Wampa and hung upside down in an ice cave, and having to use the Force to retrieve your lightsaber before using it to cut off his arm and escape. Then again, if you’re a disaster in the kitchen, the Hoth option might just be easier.

Believe it or not, this is actually the 2nd Big Bang Theory tissue box cover we’ve featured. But unlike the previous Rubik’s Cube tissue box cover that’s only featured on the set of the show, this one actually depicts those lovable geeks from the show. Bazinga! Bless you, here’s a tissue.

The cover is handmade using plastic canvas. The crafter used a cartoon-like image from the Internet, pixelized it with image editing software, then used that as a pattern to cross-stitch the box. Easy enough (I guess?) Who doesn’t love themselves a cross-stitched Sheldon Cooper? So dreamy. (via craftster)

Our always on the ball WTF Department has brought to our attention an eco-friendly shopping bag that converts to a safety helmet. It’s from Japan (where else?) and it’s called “The Grappa“.
