Great Time Of Year For Crockpots!

This time of year, things are a bit hectic. Shopping, family gatherings and yes, football. Plus with it being cold outside, its great whether for stick-to-your-ribs food. Pot roasts, stews and the likes. In other words, time for the slow cooker. I use the Crockpot (a trademark of rival) slow cooker.

Last weekend, I took a boneless beef chuck roast, threw in some BBQ sauce, cider vinegar, dry mustard, some brown sugar and a tad of water and cooked it for 8 hours on low while watching football. Took the meat out, shredded it with two forks, put it back in the crockpot for 1/2 an hour and the served it on rolls and topped it with cole slaw. Amazingly good. The meat was so tender.

Sorry for disappearing for awhile. We are in the process of adding product to crazysaver.com, thus we are working on redesigning our navigation.

With that in mind we are currently building out the kitchen department. We actually call it "Kitchen and Dining." We have added sections for Barware, Cookware, Cutlery, Dinnerware, Kitchen Tools and Utensils, outdoor grilling and Small appliances, such as blenders & mixers, coffee makers, fryers, food preservers, slow cookers and toasters.

Radio Controlled Mini-Cooper is a Crazy Fun Toy!

This toy is really fun! This toy just arrived in our warehouse. Part of my job is to write the copy for products we are selling. Often I just adapt copy written by the manufacturer for use as a description in our listings. Luckily, this Radio Control Mini-Cooper did not come with any copy. I say that because it gave me a chance to test it out in our warehouse. I got to drive this 14 inch long car around the warehouse. As soon as I started driving it I was blown away by the headlights on this RC Car. Then I put it in reverse and the tail lights lit up.

I drove this little sporty car around the warehouse some more and started to get a bit more comfortable with the radio controller unit. I got to the point where I was whipping doughnuts and doing the "drift" on the smother concrete floor of the ware house. I can tell you right now that I am getting one these for myself, one way or another. Oh, yeah, and kids will probably like them too.
