We’re All Gonna Die – 100 meters of existence is the new project of Simon Høgsberg, photographer from Copenhagen, Denmark.

“Possibly the world’s longest photograph. I’ve spent the last 17 months making. The photograph is 100 meters long (100 m x 78 cm), and is about the uniqueness of ‘ordinary’ people.”

Just amazing! We Are Sleeping Giants’ pictures create a fantastic univers: light, darkness, color’s deep, skin’s reflects, expressions and many elements are simple and close to perfection. We are flying and dreaming, the time doesn’t exist anymore. This set tell a storie, tell your own storie and for me I imagine something like Paranoid Park, a Gus Van Sant film.

The photographer is Brooks Reynolds, young photographer from Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

Fred Muram made me smile with his set “Kissing the Celling”, great shots and great idea. He’s influenced by John Baldessari, Ed Ruscha and Chris Burden and he explain precisely his work on his site, a piece of it:

“I want my audience to experience images and video that can be understood within the context of similar experiences that might have occurred within their own lives. As individuals we share so much in common with other people, but we are isolated within our own minds. There is a disconnectedness created between every individual and their surrounding universe that is fundamentally integrated through that person’s ability to accept sensory information and respond with language.”

Fashion photographer, Bruno Dayan uses amazing lighting, we can find it in a Caravage’s piece (“Calling of St Matthieu” for example). His works reminds me pieces of the Italian Renaissance because there is something supernal and relating to Christ in colors and lights.

Jody Rogac lives and works in Vancouver BC, where she obtained her BFA in photography from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2006. Since then, Jody has been shooting professionally—some of her recent clients include Rolling Stone and Monocle magazine.

Annabel Mehran is photographer who creates a peaceful and calm world.

Carlo Vand de Roer presents works about emptiness of life and loneliness, the space is the main subject.

Henry Hadlow and Ed Cornish denounce photographers who manipulate their work photographs to tell something else, different story. They give the example of Lui Weiglang who used photoshop to overlay an antelope and a rail in Tibet.
So they made funny pictures about this subject to protest against faked photographers. But they also used photoshop to make them, so it is a vicious circle…!

Daniel D. Fell is an american photographer, based in Georgia, USA. Step into his universe and explore North and South Album, amazing atmosphere.

Markku Lahdesmaki’s news series of images from China have been accepted to one of the most prestigious Photography Competitions in the World, The 49th Annual Communication Arts Photography Awards.
