Napoléon Coste- Complete Works (Integrale) for Classical Guitar

In 1829, at the age of 24, he moved to Paris where he studied under Fernando Sor and quickly established himself as the leading French virtuoso guitarist. However, the demand for guitarists was in decline and, though his brilliance provided financial stability, he failed to find a publisher for his music. As such, he had to fund its publication himself.

Mauro Giuliani- Complete Works (Integrale) for Classical Guitar

Before Giuliani came along, the guitar was considered only appropriate for accompanying a vocalist or a soloist on another instrument, such as violin. Over the course of his composing career, Giuliani wrote more than 200 pieces for guitar. He also invented a notation system for guitar that is still used today. So influential was Giuliani in subsequent generations of guitar enthusiasts that one of the earliest journals devoted to guitar music was named after him.

Matteo Carcassi - Complete Works (integrale) for Classical Guitar

He obtained a virtuoso reputation as a concert guitarist very quickly.

He moved to Germany in 1810, gaining almost immediate success. In 1815, he was living in Paris, earning his living as a teacher of both the piano and the guitar. Germany was where he met his friend Antoine Meissonnier for the first time, on a concert tour in 1819. A famous guitarist too, Meissonnier was the one who published many of Carcassi's works in his Paris publishing house.

Daniel Friederich - Classical Guitars

Daniel Friederich was influenced by the legendary French luthier Robert Bouchet and has established himself as one of the most respected and influential luthiers in the world. In 1960, he became a full-time maker in his Paris workshop. Over the years, his technical experiments, combined with his experience and acute construction methods, have led to a precise and well-balanced instrument, possessing great power and richness.

The elegant and graceful body shape, allied with the distinctive headstock featuring a raised central design, make Friederich guitars easily recognizable.

Fernando Sor - Complete Works (Integrale) for Classical Guitar

His works are more widely performed today than those of his contemporaries. Sor studied music at the Montsserrat Monastery, the Esccolania, at an early age. This school was reknowned for its sacred music education since the 1300's. While Sor wrote primarily for the guitar he also received considerable success for his operas and ballets. His popularity earned him a place in the household of the Duchess of Alba in his early twenties. He shared this patronage with the great Spanish painter Goya.

Dionisio Aguado - Complete Works (Integrale) for Classical Guitar

Dionisio Aguado was born in Madrid on April 8, 1784. He studied guitar with Miguel Garcia. in 1825, Agaudo visited Paris and became friends with Fernando Sor. The two of them shared residence in Paris for a time. Sor wrote "Les Deus Amis" , for Aguado and himself. Aguado's style differed from Sor's in that he used his nails extensively and used a lot of extremely fast scales. His guitar had a shorter scale than most, to facilitate his style of playing. His virtuosity attracted the attention of Rossini and Paganini.

Flute and Classical Guitar Music

The list of pieces for flute and guitar is extensive and varied. In playing this music, the combination is especially felicitous in sound, both instruments are very expressive and easily portable, and are balanced in volume. Most of these pieces were originally for flute accompanied by some other instrument, but a few are from pieces for other instruments entirely.
Played properly this music will dazzle an audience and thrill the players.

Francisco (Paco) Santiago Marin was born in Granada in 1946.He studied to be a guitar maker with his uncle Antonio Marin Montero Antonio Marin has influenced most of the guitar makers in Granada. Before opening his own workshop in 1973,he spent ten years in his uncle's workshop learning the art of handmade guitar construction . He builds entirely by hand using traditional methods and designs. He makes more classical than flamenco guitars simply because there is a greater demand for his classicals. He uses the Marin-Bouchet system of bracing in his classical guitars.

General structure of Method.

The theoretical part

Dominique Delarue first was inspired by Ignacio Fleta, his teacher and than later by Daniel Friederich. His instruments are considered having the both qualities of these luthiers.Usually he buids in Spruce.

Delarue guitars are conidered exceptional for their beautiful colors tonal and a broad dynamic range with remarkable balance and plenty of power.

His bracing is unique but he's strived for a very clear resonant tone that projects easily.

Classical Guitar Repertoire - 5 principles of choosing it

1.The contrast principle

According to the character - virtuous, bright pieces alternates with the opposite to the lyric ones. This principle has a deficiency - if the program is large, and then toward the end of the concert the listener will "runs a fever". The principle of contrast is justified in the short concert programs (5-6 plays).

Here are some insights about each way so you can make a decision as to which style is right for you.
