Are you looking for information on how to access MEDIA Funding? Wondering what training and networking events are on offer? Why not sign up to one of the MEDIA Antenna Scotland Information road shows taking place across Scotland over the next two months.

The MEDIA Programme is a European Union support scheme to strengthen the film, television and new media industries. The road shows will present the opportunities offered by the MEDIA Programme in the areas of funding, training courses and networking events.

One of Scotland’s leading visual artists, Elizabeth Ogilvie, will be travelling to the Greenland ice floes, for a project that will explore the native Inuit’s knowledge of ice.

Working with filmmaker Rob Page, she will explore and film the ice floes of the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier and Greenland’s ice cap for a project entitled: Reading Ice: The Secret Language of Ice.

Scottish Labour Leader, Johann Lamont MSP, has launched ‘Creative Cardonald’, a business incubator hub sponsored by Creative Scotland and Digital Enterprise Glasgow (DEG), at Cardonald College Glasgow (CCG).

Creative Cardonald provides rent-free office space and industry-standard workshop facilities for creative industry business start-up in a range of disciplines including fashion and textiles, television, graphic design and journalism.
