A shared passion for cycling brought them to open a cycling community café on the French Riviera and very quickly to the launching of an alternative cycling wear brand. Café du Cycliste is a French brand settled on the French Riviera surrounded by countless beautiful rides.
We simply cannot dream of anything better than France for road cycling! We are big fans of our scenic winding roads, our mythical cols and our cafés.

Inspired by an old colonial recipe, Pow-wow Botanical Rye is a fine straight rye whiskey, artfully infused in small batches, over an extended period of time, with Saffron, Orange Peel, and other whole botanicals. No extracts or artificial colors are added. The design speaks for itself, a clever combination of mystical symbolism and herbal design elements reflect the intrigue for this unique product.

James E. Pepper 1776 Whiskey

The James E. Pepper 1776 brand consists of 4 products. 2 Ryes, and 2 Bourbons (each has a barrel proof version and a 15 year aged version). The whiskey has received several awards from the 2013 San Francisco Wine & Spirits Competition. The packaging we designed is very much inline with the 1776 colonial era, I like to refer to the lineup as the "Colonial Collection". The eggshell felt paper printed with a mottled parchment is perfect and it is finished off with conservative gold foil stars and spot gloss varnish on the 1776 brand.

Competition for visibility on a West Coast craft beer shelf is fierce. Stoutnik's frosted matte black bottle is immediately visible from a distance and printing techniques not usually seen on craft beer labels increase the differentiation even more. The colours of the satellite-esque foil draw the customer’s eye. The stylish, sparse, contemporary design compels him to pick up the bottle. Owney's Rum

The Noble Experiment NYC is a craft distillery based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. They called upon us to create their first product, a clear rum called Owney’s. Owen “Owney” Madden was a leading underworld figure in Manhattan during Prohibition times, most notable for his involvement in organized crime and bootlegging. Planning on revolving the brand around him and that era meant lots of studying. We scoured early 1900s design and packaging for inspiration. The bottle itself was custom designed--based off of vintage rum bottles from the era. The design is jam packed with words and filigree--something very distinct to the era. Our goal was to fill every last inch of the labeling with something creative. Because photography wasn’t used to sell products during the early 20th century, attention to detail in written word and accentual design was crucial. Aside from creating the branding and packaging, we shot an awesome video promoting the product. You can view the site and video by clicking here. Owney’s has been featured in New York Magazine, Forbes, and is in contention for multiple design awards.

A deck of cards has many different levels of hierarchy and subsets. I inventoried the system between the face cards, suits, colors, number cards & independent cards. This allowed me to then work within the system but still push the amount of contrast I could achieve. My solution was to modernize the traditional face cards with contemporary illustrations and new color palette. Using the traditional character face cards enabled me to draw each character’s attire distinctively to create their personality and tell a story.

The symbol of the logo expresses the values, the history and the Hellenic culture using well known symbolism and it was inspired by the Phaestos Disk and its signs. The logo is strong, sentimental, austere yet easily recognizable as Greek, without being cliché . “Miterra Olive Oil” “ Since times immemorial, from the depths of its ancient history, Crete produces undeniably the best olive oil in the world. Its rugged terrain and unique climate of mellow winters and dry summers give the Cretan olive its distinct herbaceous aroma, its golden-green hue and its velvety texture which is like no other in the world.” As Miterra’ s main audience is foreign audience and cultures, the main concern designing the olive oil packaging, was to express the ultimate value of an age old product of the Greek land, with elegant and premium design. Two olive oil variants were designed: The gold "Limited Harvest" (Organic Extra Virgin Greek Olive oil) and the white "Select Harvest" ( Extra Virgin Greek Olive Oil). The unique-shaped bottle (that looks like an olive fruit) reinforces both the premium identity of the product and the brand.
