Shikhar Dhawan's Innings on debut [Video] - India Vs Australia 3rd test 2013

Shikhar Dhawan was all over the Australian bowling attack in his debut match here at Mohali. After Australia finished their inning just before the lunch at Day 3 in 3rd test match, Shikhar Dhawan came to bat for the first time in test cricket. Then he came to make fastest test century by a cricketer in test debut.

Till the stumps India were 283/0 with Dhawan making 185 runs off 168 balls and Murali Vijay making 81 n.o. Earlier making the fastest debut hundred Shikhar Dhawan took only 85 deliveries. Shikhar Dhawan scored 33 4s and 2 sixes on the day.

Dhawan will start the day 4 looking after his double century on the debut. He will be 6th player to acheive the milestone.

With the new name Pespi Indian Premier League 2013, IPL 6 has replaced Deccan Chargers with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sun TV Network owns the team founded on October 2013. The team has retained 20 players from old Deccan Chargers.

Kumar Sangakkara will be the captain whereas Tom Moody will be coaching the side. Waqar Younis has been named the bowling coach, VVS Laxman and Srikanath will be mentoring the Surisers this season.

The ICC Champions trophy is a 50-over tournament between the top 8 test playing nations of the world. Unlike previous tournaments, there will be no non-test playing nations. Bangladesh and Zimbabwe have not been included this time. The tournament is considered to be a mini-world cup. It starts from June 6 2013 in UK.

The format of the tournament: There are two group- A and B. Teams in each group will play against each other in round-robin format. Top two teams from each of the groups will play in semi-finals and two will be featuring in final.

India have won the 4th ODI against England and ultimately the 5-match ODI series with still a match to go. Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma batted beautifully for India who chased the total of 257 made by England.

India 257/7 in 50 overs
India 258/5 in 48.3 overs.

Alasteir Cook and Pietersen made 76 runs each which helped England to post a challenging total. Root's 57 of 45 balls at the end helped England to help increase the run rate at the end. For India, Ravindra Jadeja bowled beautifully once again as he took 3 wickets with two maidens in 10 overs. B Kumar was economic though he didn't take any wickets.

India lost a quick wicket of Gambhir but Rohit Sharma lifted the Indian innings as he mad 83 runs opening the batting for India. 89 runs by Suresh Raina too helped India to reach the target.
