Australia is on tour of Sri Lanka for playing 2 T20Is, 5 ODIs and 3 Tests. Both the teams played well in the word cup and this is supposed to be the toughest challange for each other to prove themselves. Both the teams have very good players who can change the game at any position. So it will be real fun to watch series between Sri Lanka and Australia.

India v England test series 1st test has been won by England. England won the match on the 5th day of the match by 196 runs. From the 1st innings only this match was looking one sided and England totally dominated the match. England showed amazing strength and beat India in all aspect of the game.

India won the toss and selected to bowl first. It was show for Indian bowler Zaheer khan and Praveen kumar who started well. Zaheer took 2 wickets for just 18 runs before he got injured. Meanwhile Kevin Pietersen (202*), Jonathan Trott (70) and Prior (71) played amazing and put England to the massive score of 474 runs for 8 wickets. Praveen Kumar 5 wickets but it was too late for India.

On the other hand India was not looking confident and as a result whole team got out in just 286 runs in 1st innings. Only Rahul Dravid played really well by scoring (103*) runs. From England side Broad and Tremlett bowled really well by taking 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

England started in the 2nd innings with good lead of 188 runs. Also they played really well in second innings as well and declared after scoring 269 runs for 6 wickets. Prior was the main player who drove England from 107/6 to the final score. He scored 103 runs and remained not out. Ishant Sharma took 4 wickets for India.

Now India had a massive total of 457 runs to chase which was almost looking impossible. Only Laxman (56) and Raina (78) resisted for sometime but finally amazing bowling from England player took whole Indian team out for just 261 runs. Anderson (5) and Broad (3) bowled really well and drove England to the super victory in the first test.

2nd Test match will be start from 29th July 2011. So dont forgot to watch England v India 2nd test match live.

Probably the shortest match of this world cup 2011, West indies beat Bangladesh by 9 wickets.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first but West Indian bowlers did amazing job and not allowed any Bangladeshi bowler to settle. Benn took 4 wickets for just 18 runs. Also Roach and Sammy both took 3 wickets and Bangladesh were all out for just 58 runs in 18.5 overs.

In reply West Indies easily chased the score and finished in 12.2 overs by losing only one wicket of Smith.

Shahid Afridi took 5 wickets and save Pakistan from being lost against Canada. If Afridi’s magic failed, it might have been a 2nd upset after England and Ireland’s match in world cup 2011.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first,except Misbah-ul-Haq (37) and Umar Akmal (48), no batsmen were impressive and whole team all out for just 184 runs in just 43 overs. Baidwan from Canada took 3 wickets.

As expected Canada started with 2 quick wickets. No Canadian batsmen played well except Hansra, who scored 43 runs. It was all about Afridi, who took 5 wickets in just 23 runs and so declared Man of the match.

Bangladesh won the toss and selected to bowl first. India started very well and without any problem in facing the Bangladesh bowling attack, made the target of 370 runs with the loss of just 4 wickets. Virendar Sehwag scored his career best 175 runs. Virat Kohli also played amazingly and scored 100 and remained not out till the end.
No Bangladesh bowler was so effective and Indian batsmen showed no mercy in scoring memoth runs against them.

In reply to giant score of 370 runs, Bangladesh tried really hard but did not able to make it and India won by 87 runs. Tamim Iqbal (70) and Shakib Al Hasan (55) were the highest scorer from Bangladesh innings. Munaf Patel took 4 wickets for 48 runs.

Virendra Sehwag was declared Man of the Match for his amazing 175 runs innings. Score Card

level. I can`t really wait to get into the thick of things.”

He says “I am feeling pretty good now. The rehab programme is on the right track
and hopefully I will strike a good rhythm before the tournament starts.”

Praveen also said about spectacular performance that, “The quality of cricket that we
have produced during the recent times makes us the favourites. Look at our team, we
have such world class players. The preparation has been good. Hopefully, we can win the
Cup.”
