I’ll be out making love to a…SUPERSTAR.” So begins Superstar, the groovalicious first track on Australian electric, eclectic pop group GloveboX‘s self-titled release on Baria Records. The capitalized portion of that lyric hits the listener with a sultry, bionic voice, as if the vocalist-and the listener-have just stepped into an alternate reality. That voice is the voice of a generation of club goers who want to listen while they dance, folks who agree with GloveboX’s adage that “to give life meaning,” it’s important to have “a sense of style,” as the band speaks on In the End. Producer/arranger Lock and singer Mishka, the duo behind this album, possess nothing if not a sense of slick, but certainly not predictable, style.

In 1988 Freestyle Music turned JJ on to the turntables. He got his first set of turntables(belt driven)in june of 88. At the age of 13 he was going to parties and managed to get into bars and clubs with his father and ask all the question about being a DJ and what he needed to do. Without reservation everybody he spoke with was happy to talk to him laughing inside because he was so young. 6 months later he obtained his first pair of 1200′s. He started off doing parties and underground until 1997 when Providence House Scene blew up. At this time all the DJ’s he had got his knowledge from 9 years earlier were not in the game anymore so he didn’t feel like he was stepping on toes. Starting in 97 he chose to start doing clubs, his chance to spin at mass venues was soon around the corner. With doing the clubs for about 18 months already a friend introduced him to a promoter who was promoting for several different clubs on different nights, with one CD, the next day he got a phone call from Joe, the promoter. He wanted to make sure he helped JJ get known. Before long he was working 7 nights a week doing clubs, raves, afterhours and house parties. With maximum exposer in providence, word got around to boston of JJ then he was asked to spin at clubs and afterhours up in Boston.

In Sept. 1999 JJ decided to move to Las Vegas, while only out there for=0 A8 months he spun at Club RA, Dre’s nightclub, and Spearmint Rhino Afterhours. When he came back to providence he decided to take a step back for a little while from clubs and start learning how to produce music, so in 2002 he graduated with a degree in recording engineer and started to produce his own tracks and doing remixes. With the meeting of John Kano in Miami at the WMC’s 03 another venture into songwriting started. Over the past few years JJ has molded a sound of his own with the help of Eddie Baez & John Kano. He considers these two power hitters to be his mentors. When there was something missing JJ turned to these two for advise, and he was well on his way to becoming a top producer. With unsigned remixes for Whitney Houston, Monica, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stafani & Stevie Nicks just to name a few, JJ’s sound has caught the ears of many DJ’s, Producers & Artists both Veterans & New.

JJ has worked on remixes for Janis Kay, an artist from the UK. A Test run on MASSPOOL.com showed the remix to be a hit, it reached the ultimate honor of number 1 download beating out Kanye West. He will be working very closely with Janis and her Producer on her album, the very talented Richard Amos, on future projects.

In 1988 Freestyle Music turned JJ on to the turntables. He got his first set of turntables(belt driven)in june of 88. At the age of 13 he was going to parties and managed to get into bars and clubs with his father and ask all the question about being a DJ and what he needed to do. Without reservation everybody he spoke with was happy to talk to him laughing inside because he was so young. 6 months later he obtained his first pair of 1200′s. He started off doing parties and underground until 1997 when Providence House Scene blew up. At this time all the DJ’s he had got his knowledge from 9 years earlier were not in the game anymore so he didn’t feel like he was stepping on toes. Starting in 97 he chose to start doing clubs, his chance to spin at mass venues was soon around the corner. With doing the clubs for about 18 months already a friend introduced him to a promoter who was promoting for several different clubs on different nights, with one CD, the next day he got a phone call from Joe, the promoter. He wanted to make sure he helped JJ get known. Before long he was working 7 nights a week doing clubs, raves, afterhours and house parties. With maximum exposer in providence, word got around to boston of JJ then he was asked to spin at clubs and afterhours up in Boston.

In Sept. 1999 JJ decided to move to Las Vegas, while only out there for months he spun at Club RA, Dre’s nightclub, and Spearmint Rhino Afterhours. When he came back to providence he decided to take a step back for a little while from clubs and start learning how to produce music, so in 2002 he graduated with a degree in recording engineer and started to produce his own tracks and doing remixes. With the meeting of John Kano in Miami at the WMC’s 03 another venture into songwriting started. Over the past few years JJ has molded a sound of his own with the help of Eddie Baez & John Kano. He considers these two power hitters to be his mentors. When there was something missing JJ turned to these two for advise, and he was well on his way to becoming a top producer. With unsigned remixes for Whitney Houston, Monica, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stafani & Stevie Nicks just to name a few, JJ’s sound has caught the ears of many DJ’s, Producers & Artists both Veterans & New.

JJ has worked on remixes for Janis Kay, an artist from the UK. A Test run on MASSPOOL.com showed the remix to be a hit, it reached the ultimate honor of number 1 download beating out Kanye West. He will be working very closely with Janis and her Producer on her album, the very talented Richard Amos, on future projects.

In 2008, Knob Records features J.J. Royal’s EP titled, ”Digital Psycho EP” and “Belly of the Beast EP”.

Perfect World by Clint Crisher After moving to DC, Clint met Willie R Lewis and started recording house music. Their union formed a sound with an energetic beat that everyone loved to dance to. For the next several years Clint headlined at venues from New York City to Miami Beach. In June 1999, Clint released his debut album, Perfect World with a 45 minute concert at CLUB LIFE in New York City. The single, Perfect World reached #7 on the TOP 100 MP3s in the UK.

Peter Tanico spent years in management and promotion making him our resident expert when it comes to knowing what it takes to get artists’ music played on the radio and in the clubs. He is well-connected throughout the US and has a handful of industry VIP’s in the International community. HERSH is one of the most solid and talented producers working today. He has recorded with some of the best in the industry. After his split from the U.S. Marines in 1995 he began his music career, producing and releasing music with “Streetlight Productions” studying under famed west-coast hip hop producer, ‘Fingazz’. Hersh worked closely with me to produce many of the original The Hot Boys World Volume tracks and contributed to Run Baby Run “The Remixes.” Hersh delivers the driving beat of the track titled Get Nasty, the trademark opening of my Get Nasty show!

DJ MIKE STRIP an LA native is a mover and shaker in the industry. Attuned to the dynamic music scene, Mike delivers fresh perspective and fearless expression as one of So Cal’s hottest DJ’s. When he’s not captivating a live audience, Mike is writing songs, rubbing elbows with TV execs and honing his remixing skills. Strip’s tracks have aired on shows including “Spring Break Shark Attack” (ABC), “Canal Street Brothel” (CBS), “For One Night” (Lifetime) and “The Starter Wife” (USA.) Clint Crisher – Spotlight (Hefty Lefty Radio Edit) Watch the video that put Clint Crisher in the Spotlight! The Hefty Lefty Radio Edit breakout hit NUMBER 5 on BILLBOARD’s HOT DANCE CLUB PLAY CHART in December 2007. Spotlight was the first release from “Terrific Distraction” with a hefty 15 song. Spotlight Hefty Lefty Radio Edit was A HUGE dance hit on mix radio shows around the world with the promotion of Harry Towers from DEET PROMOTIONS and landed on the Billboard Charts as the #5 billboard dance breakout hit with some help from night clubs around the world as part of the ROCK AMERICA video pool in January 2008 also the biggest Independant record promoter Bobby Shaw took on the record for Clint and Crisher Entertainment to get the billboard promoters charting Clint. Bobby learned from promoters such as Ray Caviano, Ken Friedman, Billy Smith, Alan Mamber, Starr Arning, and Rita Heyer.
In 1978, Shaw’s passion for music led him to seek a job within the dance community and he was able to land a mail room position for Ray Caviano at TK Records. While at the label, Shaw assisted on notable acts as Voyage, Peter Brown, The Ritchie Family, T Connection, Beautiful Bend, KC and The Sunshine Band, Jimmy “Bo” Horne, Anita Ward, and Bobby Caldwell. Perhaps most noteworthy though was his relationship with Madonna as he helped guide her through the early stages of her career with Michael Rosenblatt and Mark Kamins. Shaw helped set up Madonna’s early club gigs and was her promotion person for the early masterpieces Everybody, Physical Attraction, Holiday, and Burning Up. Shaw’s experience was the backbone for bringing such luminaries as Elton John, Patti LaBelle, Dan Hartman, Bronski Beat, New Edition, Stephanie Mills, Fine Young Cannibals, The Jets, Londonbeat, Colonel Abrams, and Tracy Lords to the dance floors of the world and now you can add the name Clint Crisher to that list!

Clint Crisher returns to The Hot Boys World Volume 4 with some hot remixes from Dj Peter Tanico and reunites with Hot2Go from The Hot Boys World Volume 2. Kenny Miruski began his music career on the east coast in the 90′s. After years of working gigs in nightclubs during the age of vinyl, Kenny wanted to become more involved in working wiht recording artists and took off as Director of A&R at Crisher Entertainment.

At Crisher Entertainment, Kenny has co-produced albums with Billboard recording artist Clint Crisher. He has also worked with Darrell Russ, Johnny Holliday, Kynt, Fio and others.

Kenny has been involved in a number of internet radio stations and requests with podcasts. Kenny is humble in that he was taught the basics of dance music by his own sister Michelle. He is grateful for the people who helped him along the way. He enjoys dance music and its many forms of different genres and subgenres.

Kenny plays the piano and trumpet since age 9. He also enjoys reporting a weekly dance music chart. Kenny takes good care of his vinyl collection of over 5 thousand.

Clint Crisher & Painted Sun is an Alternative rock band, sometimes referred to as “Painted Sun“. Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has come to also incorporate elements of pop, heavy metal, rhythm and blues, and garage punk rock. The band was formed in Fernandina Beach, Florida in 1993. Drummer Robert Jewell and bassist Robert Campbell, originally in a band together, worked part-time with singer Clint Crisher and asked him to consider singing with them in their garage on the Island. Guitarist Dave Medure joined them, and formed Painted Sun. In late 1993, the band began developing a following in Jacksonville. They were signed to Crisher Entertainment in 1994, and released Monogomy. By the end of the 1994, they were among the most popular alternative rock bands in Florida and developed a loyal following of fans, often referred to as the “Suns.” However, an internal conflict took their toll on the band, which resulted in the departures of Clint Crisher, in 1995.
Although Clint gained the level of popularity as a solo artist throughout the late 1990s, his goal was their comeback with a followup to Monogomy which would have them back on tour and recording music with the same members or new ones. Auditions for the new band are set for late 2009 with Clint Crisher as the lead singer.
