El director de este documental es fundador de la Sociedad de Preservación del Océano, y más allá de su experiencia como fotógrafo y sus colaboraciones con National Geographic, la forma en la que encara este documental evidencia que su motor es más político y ecológico que visual.

Si tuviese que valorar esta película en función de las risas que me despertó, diría que es una de las mejores comedias de los últimos años. Lo concreto es que me reí como hacía mucho no me reía con una película, y aunque esto no es un dato menor, hay que ponerlo en la balanza junto con la enorme cantidad de situaciones grotescas o &lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;

Sería un error analizar esta película como una biografía de Benito Mussolini, el hombre que marcó a fuego el destino de una Italia sometida a sus designios. The trap, como se la conoció internacionalmente, llevaba tres años de demora en su estreno en España, que se saldan en el momento en que la vemos, y agradecemos que al menos se haya estrenado. Debo comenzar diciendo que Kick Ass me gustó mucho. Cuando una película presenta en los títulos una serie de imágenes de películas anteriores de su estrella principal, sólo puede ser una de dos cosas, un homenaje a esa estrella, o una película que no tiene nada para agregar a su carrera. Como sabemos de entrada que no es lo primero, no nos queda otra alternativa que esperar lo peor.

A esta película es posible analizarla a partir de dos aspectos concretos. Por un lado, su construcción del mundo postapocalíptico en el cual sucede la acción. Por el otro, su necesidad de imprimirle a la trama un discurso religioso.

Luego de Nacho libre, Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) profundiza en un estilo de comedia muy cercano al trazado por Wes Anderson, con un evidente parentesco estético, aunque con tópicos narrativos diferentes.
La clave de Hess siempre parece ser la extravagancia de sus personajes, que en el caso de Gentlemen Broncos definen los distintos trayectos que recorre el &lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
