• It’s the time of year when we collect for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. All of the money collected will be used to support missionaries serving around the world. • This month’s preschool theme is Donut Time! What kid doesn’t love donuts? There are so many good gifts that God has given us and in this month’s lessons, they’ll learn that the good things in our lives are gifts from God. The greatest gift, even better than donuts, is Jesus! The elementary theme for the month is Stand: Don’t Face Your Fears Alone. Elementary schoolers will learn how to have courage by trusting in the Lord even when things are scary or seem impossible. We hope you’ll join us this month!

• Men’s pancake breakfast this coming Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 8:00 am in the gym. This is open to fathers, father figures, sons, grandfathers, grandsons, uncles, and nephews. All men are welcome, invite your family and friends!

• Deacon Nominations will be from November 6- November 20. Please be in the prayer of who God would want you to nominate.

• It’s that time again! Harvest Season here at Crossroads! We are each called to serve and we want you to use your gifts and talents for the Kingdom! For the month of November, be praying about where God wants you to plug in and help in the Mission of Crossroads by signing up to serve. We will have paper copies of our Harvest Form available and an online form as well! If you’d like to know more, contact Josh Threatt at josh@crossroadsbaptist.org
• Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes will be available in the lobby this Sunday. We will be collecting shoeboxes as a church on November 20 at the altar during the morning worship service. Our goal as a church is 300 shoeboxes. These shoeboxes will be delivered to children around the world.
• We are taking a group of 25 to the Charlotte Shoebox Distribution Center on Tuesday, November 22. We will leave the church at 4:30 pm and will be working from 6:00-10:00 pm, returning at 11:30 pm. We will be packing Christmas shoeboxes to be shipped throughout the world. We also need adults to volunteer to drive. Please see Michael or Cheryl if you would like to participate in this ministry opportunity.
• The last Wednesday night in the semester is November 30. We will start back in January.

• A Gathering for 18-25-Year-Olds in Atlanta:
  Registration is open for Passion 2023! Our young adults will be traveling to State Farm Arena, on January 3rd-5th for Passion 2023. Please let Jesse or Aimee Sprinkle know if you’d like to attend! See our Instagram page for more information and a link to sign up:  @_crossroadsyoungadults_

• Rain or Shine Trunk or Treat is still on!
• There are bins available in the lobby for candy donations for Trunk or Treat! Please consider helping us reach the community. We expect an increase in families on our campus because of all the new houses in the area.
• Pastor Johnny will be putting together a team of adults to minister to adults during Trunk or Treat. He will be passing out treats and engaging in conversation. If you are interested in helping with his team, please meet him on October 30 at the GO sign in the sanctuary at 4:00 pm.

• Our last Midweek Worship for this year is November 3 at 12:00 pm in the gym. Please bring a side dish and a dessert to share! Join us for fellowship, worship, devotion and lunch!
