Tenure Decisions Are Happening

Just an FYI to the Croton-Harmon community that the following teachers are up for tenure.Since the school board is always asking for input on these matters, this is your LAST opportunity to let them know your experiences--whether positive or negative.You may do so by emailing or writing a letter to the superintendent, and the school board. Their emails and addresses can be found on the school calendar and district website. This is a very important decision, and a chance to have your voices heard. Let's Get This Party Started at Croton Free Library Ottinger Room

CHEF’s annual Dinner Dance & Auction, Under the Stars, will take place this year on Saturday, May 19th at Monteverde at Oldstone Manor. The event is the largest fundraiser of the year to support innovation and excellence in the Croton-Harmon Schools. Under the Stars is not possible without the support of volunteers from the community. If you are interested in volunteering some of your time in support of Under the Stars please join us for an informal gathering on Thursday, Feb 9th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Ottinger Room at the Croton Free Library. Representatives from the CHEF board will be available to tell you all about helping out with this great event. We need volunteers from all areas of expertise including, but not limited to, marketing, sales, food and beverage services, artists, designers, schleppers, and much much more. We hope you can stop by the library on Thursday, Feb 9th, 5:30pm-7:30pm, to learn more about the Croton-Harmon Education Foundation and Under the Stars. Kabbalat Shabbat at Temple Israel of Northern Westchester

 Join us at 6:00 PM on January 27th as we welcome the Sabbath with a Kabbalat Shabbat service. The service is primarily comprised of joyful singing. The Sabbath candles are lit and the service continues with the singing of Psalms and Lekha Dodi in honor of the weekly day of rest.
