Muskmelon seeds art

In 'Best out of waste' section of Creative Stuff I am going to show you the best use of 'Muskmelon seeds' . I hope you'll like it.

Muskmelon seeds art is one of my favorite arts

and this is my first post for this section so I chose this art to show you.

In this Post, I would like to share my first Muskmelon seeds art.

Lets start!

Material I used:

Muskmelon seeds (for flower petals)
Mustard seeds Rice shells (Dhaan)
Glue
Warnish
Green Fabric painting color
Pencil
Sky blue paper
Brush

Method:
Take a paper and draw rough outline of your design with pencil.

Flowers
-Start from outer layer of flower.
-Put glue on outer petal layer that you have drawn and stick muskmelon seeds.
-Make second inner layer with the same method.
(Note: If you want to create more layers of petals then your outer layer circle should be large)
-Inside the center of flower put glue and sprinkle mustard seeds over it and press sprinkled seeds with your finger.
You are done with the main flower. Make other flowers with the same procedure.
For small flower you need to create only one layer.

Leaves
-To make the leaves stick rice shells(Dhaan) diagonally.
-After sticking rice shells (Dhaan) paint them with green fabric painting color carefully and neatly.
-Allow time to dry.

Pot
-Place glue on pot design.
-Stick rice shells (Dhaan) and mustard seeds over it. Use your creativity to make it more beautiful.

After completing whole design apply warnish on it with brush for shine and to keep your painting for long time.

Frame it.

Done!

How to use marquee tool in adobe photoshop

In this post we are going to learn about 'Marquee tool' in Adobe Photoshop.

Marquee tool is used to select particular area in an image.

You can select an area with marquee tool in rectangular shape and circular shape.

You can also select 1 pixel row and 1 pixel column in an image.

You can move your selection anywhere.

There are 4 types of marquee tools. Lets learn and discuss these tools with examples.

Open any image as you learned in previous post. And create duplicate copy of this image for editing.

1.) Rectangular marquee tool ( ) :
Select Rectangular marquee tool ( ) from tool box by clicking on highlighted arrow ( ) as shown in the image. Select rectangular marquee tool from the pop down window as given below:

Now, to make your selection click near the area you want to select by pressing left mouse button ,hold it down and drag the marquee to exact location. After completing your selection area release the left mouse button.

Now you will see a blinking border around your selection aas shown in the image given below.
This is called marquee selection.

2.) Elliptical Marquee tool ( ):If you want to select an area in circular or elliptical shape then use this tool. All the steps are same as Rectangualr marquee tool.

3.) Single row marquee tool ( ): to make selection with this tool single click is required.

4.) Single column marquee tool( ) : same as single row marquee tool.

Big advantage of selecting particular area in an image is that you can apply changes to selected area only.
For example in above image if I want to put red color in girls’s right eye I'll do this as given below.

1. I'll use elliptical marquee tool to make my selection.

2. Select Brush tool from tool box. Set forground color to red. And set mode in option bar to multiply . Drag in the image and paint with your brush tool. Now notice one thing , your brush tool will not work on the area that is not selected.

How to add, delete and create duplicate layers in Adobe Photoshop

In our previous post we learned about 'Layers in Adobe Photoshop'.

In this post we will learn How to add , delete and create a duplicate layer.

I have tried to explain the easiest way, I hope you will like for sure.

First, either create a new document or open any existing image that you like.

For both appropriate steps are given below:

Create a new document:

Go to File menu > select New option >set all the fields as you like in the window that will be displayed> press OK.

Your new document is ready.

Open an existing image

Go to File menu > select Open option > a window will be displayed as given below.Now you can take the help of the image shown below to do the remaining steps.

Your new image will be opened as shown below:

(Note: Don’t edit original image. Always create a duplicate image of an original image so that original image remains the same for future use. Its called backup of an image. Go to Image menu > select duplicate option.)

|| Add new layer ||

Pick any one option from the alternate options given below :

Option 1: Press Shift+ctrl+N key combination > Enter the name of the layer in name field > press OK.

Option 2: Go to Layers menu > New > Layer > Enter the name of the layer in name field > press OK.

Option 3: Click on the ‘create a new layer’ button at the bottom of layers palette as shown in the image given below:

A new layer will be added as shown below:

|| Delete existing Layer ||

Pick any one option from the alternate options given below :

Option 1: Select the layer which you want to delete. Go to Layers menu > select Delete option> Layer >click on the Yes button.

Option 2: Select the layer which you want to delete> click on the ‘delete layer’ button () at the bottom right corner of the Layers Palette> click on the Yes button.

|| Create duplicate Layer ||

Select the layer whose replica you want to create.

Go to Layers menu > select Duplicate layer option> Enter the name of the duplicate layer in AS: field >click on the OK button.

Duplicate layer will be added as shown below.

How to use layers in adobe photoshop

Layers in Adobe Photoshop
In this post we’re going to learn about adobe photoshop’s layers.

Layers are very powerful feature of photoshop. Before creating anything in photoshop you should have the knowledge of Layers and its working if you want to create anything easily.

Think of layers as sheets of acetate stacked one on top of the other. In each layer you can create elements without disturbing the others.

In order to better understand layers follow the steps given below:

|| FIRST STEP ||

Create a new document : File – new

A ‘ new’ window will be opened as given below.

Enter the name of your document in ‘Name’ Field ( I have given ‘layers’ name to my document) . Set ‘Width’ ,’Height ‘and ‘Resolution’ to ‘200 pixels’ ‘200 pixels’ and ‘300 pixels/inch’ respectively.

Select ‘RGB color’ mode. And select ‘white’ option by clicking on the round radio button.

After entering all the details click on ‘ok’ button.

Following window will be displayed:

|| SECOND STEP||

Go to ‘window’ menu and select ‘layers’ option as shown in the image given below:

(Note: If it is already selected then no need to do this step.)

A ‘layers Palette’ will be displayed on the bottom-right corner as shown below.

Above Layer Palette is the main feature in adobe photoshop with the help of which you can do many creativities with your images and you can also create your own innovative designs , Because you can add new layers, delete existing layers and can also apply different effects on them without disturbing other layers.

In next step you will learn how to add new layers.

|| THIRD STEP ||

Add new layer by choosing one of the alternate options as given below:

Option 1: Press Shift+ctrl+N key combination

Option 2: Go to Layers menu > New > Layer .

Option 3: Click on the ‘create a new layer’ button at the bottom of layers palette as shown in the image given below:

Now you can see the new layer as shown below.
