What we didn't get to discuss on air was a Lamb marinade recipe, so here it is!

1. Take 1.5kg boned lamb leg, butterflied

2. Combine 5 cloves of crushed garlic, 1 tablespoon of paprika, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and oil in a large, shallow ceramic dish. Season both sides lamb with salt and pepper. Score lamb skin (this allows marinade to penetrate). Place lamb in marinade and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before cooking.

3. While that’s in the fridge, you can make the mayo. So in a bowl combine ¾ cup whole-egg mayonnaise, ½ cup stuffed green olives, chopped up, a teaspoon of paprika and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix it well. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

4. Spray a cold barbecue plate or grill with oil. Preheat on high heat. When your ready to cook, reduce heat to medium flame. Barbecue lamb, skin side down, for 10 minutes. Then turn and cook for afurther 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover lamb with barbecue hood if you can then barbecue for a further 15 minutes for medium or until cooked to your liking.

5. Finally remove form the bbq and cover loosely with foil and set aside in a warm place for 10 minutes to rest. Slice lamb thinly across the grain.

Serve you masterpiece lamb with the green olive mayonnaise and jacket potatoes.

We've been messed around a few times with file hosting over the years, between the servers and with iTunes listings.

I'm pleased to announce we've finally got a working feed that not only works with iTunes it ALSO has all the first few years of files we released back from 2008!

So here's the catch, for those with current listings of the podcast, could you please make sure you point your feeds to this link:
http://www.cpod.org.au/feed.php?id=317

OR If you're using iTunes, just look up the new podcast in the iTunes store and subscribe to it.
(It'll be the one with files starting back at 01)

We'll be updating the files all the way up until our current ones over the course of October, so stay tuned for those ones!
The plan is to switch off the current feed by early December so please make sure you update within the next two months.

Before he departs we thought we'd turn up the heat to see, what flavour Ranga ACTUALLY tastes like...

So our friend the ranga cub thought he could just slink away after 3.5 years of doing the show without a decent send-off.... Yeah RIGHT!
Cookie and Kevin scoured the community seeking out people whom Jack has or perhaps less likely hasn't touched, in his own special way. We asked of these folk:
