Holiday at Nana and Grandad's 6-10 April 08

JJ and Jenna stayed with Nana and Grandad for a few days.

JJ's second top front tooth fell out and the tooth fairy found it that night.

They went to Whipsnade Zoo. JJ's favourite were the tigers and Jenna's, the flamingo.

The next day, the children went to Stanwick Lakes which has a marvellous assault course and kids park.

Half Term New Forest 16-22 Feb 08

We went to stay in a lovely cottage in the New Forest. Tennis every morning and trips out in the afternoon. Great weather, just a but chilly.

We went to Mizens Trains and unexpectedly met Miriam and her family (one of Jenna's classmates)

The rail men used the 'wrong sort of coal' so we were covered in soot, lots of scrubbing when we got home!

We went to stay with Nana, Grandad and Uncle Jonny. Father Christmas had been to their house too!

After the kids eventually woke up at 8.45 am (no rush to see what Father Christmas had brought), Nana's telepathy detected movement and she rang for a chat, Jenna duly obliged.

Then after breakfast we went to Grandma's to see what was under the tree.

Jenna the Ballet Dancer 27 November 07

This was the last lesson of Jenna's first term of Ballet Dancing. The parents were able to watch. Jenna was so happy to have an audience.

JJ has a Lucky Week November 07

JJ had a lucky week. First his bottom right tooth fell out, it was very shiny, so the tooth fairy left a £1 for him on Tuesday morning. Then on the same day, he got a Frank Lampard Match Attax card and at swimming, he was awarded his Level 5 Swimming Certificate.

Then on Friday, JJ came home with a certificate from school for 'always eating his dinner up' and that evening, he was given some centenary badges at Beavers.

Jenna is Conkers! Autumn 07

Jenna spent a wonderful Autumn collecting hundres and hundreds of conkers after school with Katy and her mum. Jenna's school trouser pockets bulged with conkers and they fell out when she ran.

But Jenna didn't stop there, she also collected leaves of many colours, acorns, sticks, stones.....

The Girls came over as their house was being packed. Jenna in particular was sad, she has no one to run up and down the street with and swap jewellery boxes!

The South African family are leaving for SA soon, so they invited us and Piers and Cerris' faimily for tea and cakes. It was a boiling hot day, so the inevitable happened.

Hampton Court 18 August 07

Back in England, it was a cold summers day, so we decided to go to Hampton Court. Good choice, not too busy and we saw lots.

We did the maze, had a horse and carriage ride, went on the train and did the house. We forgot to see the real tennis court, will have to go back sometime.

Summer Holiday Sweden 3-15 August 07

We went to stay with Anders, Monica, Kristoffer and Jakob at Mellomgarde. Adults had a lovely relaxing time and the kids ran around and around most of the time.

Hanne, Nick and Miles also came and visited, JJ and Miles were pleased to see each other.

In the evening, we went to Grandma's and the kids planted peas.

We had a picnic with Nana and Grandad after visiting the house they may buy in Northampton. It was a scorching hot day!

Then we spent our last weekend in Peterborough, here are Jenna and JJ painting masterpieces for Nana and JJ with the finished product.
