They took part in the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 in Holland, going undefeated throughout the tournament only to lose to Fnatic, a team they beat 13:8 in the group stages,  by a mere 1 match in the Grand Final.

However, Reason’s CSS team managed to take it to the end by winning the Sapphire Challenge against some of the best European gamers. The final match pitted Reason’s skills against Team Excello who pushed them hard; overcoming Reason’s first round win by taking the second match 16-12.

The match went into overtime with Reason winning 16-8 on de_tuscan making it 2:1 on aggregate.

The only agony that came with this year’s Intel Extreme Masters was being so close to taking the crown in most of the competitions. After the dust has settled, Team Razer did not play too badly this time around as they pushed themselves and the competition to the limit while bagging over $25,000 in cash prize.

In the Counter Strike games, we had Mousesports and WeMade FOX coming in at 5th/6th and MYM at 9th/10th place. Team Dignitas fared better at World of Warcraft, coming in second only to Team EG in a hard fought finals match on Thursday.

Quake was much more fiercely contested with 3 of our guys, Cooller, Av3k and Cypher filling up half of the playoff spots.  All of them made it to the semi-finals, clinching the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place consecutively.

So there you have it, a round-up of the Intel Extreme Masters in Hannover. Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the IEM.

Although Mousesports and WeMade FOX may not have progress past the quarter finals with CS 1.6, we have made decent headway in the other 2 competitions.

Team Dignitas picked up second place and pocketed a cool 10,000 Euros in the WoW PvP competition. They fought valiantly but succumbed to defeat by an aggressive Team EG from USA with the match ending 4-1.

Team Razer’s fortunes look to be looking up in the Quake Live tournament with 3 out of 6 of the play off entrants representing Razer. Cooller and Cypher topped their respective groups and will be seeded, taking an automatic spot in the semi-finals. “av3k” will be facing off “fox” today in the quarter finals, the winner taking on Cooller in the semi finals tomorrow.

The scores were close but Mousesports and Team Dignitas qualified from Group A in second and third place respectively; making their way to the play-off rounds for the World of Warcraft competition. Unfortunately, Mousesports did not make it past the first round of the play-offs against Team EG but Team Dignitas swatted off the advances SK.de to progress to the Semi-finals where they will meet SK Korea. Just one match away from the all important finals! Push on guys!

In CS news, WeMade FOX attained second place in Group B while Mousesports secured third in Group A to make it through to the play-offs for CS 1.6. Mousesports will be taking on Na’Vi as of writing and WeMade FOX will look to spoiling fnatic’s party by trying to make it to the semi-finals as well.

Due to some technical difficulties, most of Quake Live’s group matches have yet to be played and we will update you on developments of our players Cooller, av3k and cypher.
