The road has been paved for the trade, but there’s a 24-hour waiting period, so until then we can’t definitively say he is traded. However the NY Times reports that he said goodbye to his teammates before the Astros played Milwaukee.

The Yankees need a designated hitter, since Nick Johnson went down with a wrist injury this May. Rookie Colin Curtis has been filling the spot, but Berkman can do them a favor in that spot. He has a .72 on-base percentage with 13 home runs, which is perfect for a designated hitter.

Reportedly, the Yankees were also looking at Adam Dunn of the Washington Nationals, but the Astros have been attempting to rebuild their team so the trade works out well for both teams.

Some of the other reviews on this movie have criticized it for not going far enough into “sadistic glee” but I think it did fine. I don’t need to see people hurting to laugh. Laughing at an IRS man who is pretty darn stupid was funny enough for me.

Other reviews said it was contrived and lame. Au contraire! I have worked in the high-powered corporate world, and this kind of crap does happen. That’s why it’s so funny! Lame? I was slightly lame as we walked out of the theater, due to my sides hurting from laughing so much.

Strangely enough, GSN says they aren’t aware of any lawsuit filed yet by Wilson, but maybe they’re waiting for the answer to get loaded onto a board somewhere?

I’ve been stiffed by employers before, but never as bad as Wilson has allegedly been stiffed. Her back pay is definitely worth suing over!

Now a retired pharmacist, the 55-year-old McCall looked him up on the Internet and they agreed to meet in person. It was love at first sight! McCall was a cheerleader when she was younger and she’s still a hot-looking woman. Patrick, of course, has that sexy widow’s peak hairdo.

“I was really,really nervous when I called him,” McCall told the Examiner. “I felt like I was 10-years old again. He put me quite at ease. He even handed the phone to his mom and I got to talk to her for a little bit.”

No word on when the date is, but isn’t it a great love story?

It comes out this Christmas, December 17th to be precise, and I personally can’t wait to see it. This is the kind of silly comedy I enjoy. Silly stupid comedy with a good heart. That’s my kind of film!

T.J. Miller is also in this movie, as a park ranger who must try to control the irrepressible Yogi. Anna Faris from the Scary Movies is here too, as well as Nathan Corddry from the United States of Tara.

It’s an all-star cast for Yogi Bear this time and I hope you’re looking forward to this movie as much as I am.

The lake turns out to be a pond, the Cadillac turns out to be grafittied to hell and back and the fiery ring he should have jumped through was some sparklers. Plus the filming is awful. There’s no intro or lead-in to the stunt, it just starts up and boom! He’s in the lake.

Then to make it a more interesting stunt, he goes down with the car and doesn’t come back up for a while. Whoopee. FAIL.

Apparently she had a beer bong that was supposedly full of cola, but since she got extremely intoxicated, that may or may not be true. She then tried to ride a bike and was so wobbly that she evidently attracted some unwanted police attention. However she was not arrested for public intoxication, but rather for disorderly conduct.

“She is in our lockup right now, she is under arrest for disorderly conduct, we are waiting for the police report to come through,” the chief of police said, according to Allie Is Wired.

It’s not too surprising that a Jersey Shore star has been arrested for disorderly conduct. I watched the season premiere last night and I think what IS surprising is that it hasn’t happened sooner!

However, US Magazine also says Jennifer Lopez has been hired to be a judge and that Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler will replace Simon Cowell. The show will go back to having only three judges.

J Lo will make a great judge but she’ll be too nice, just like Paula was. However, that seems to be necessary. Steven Tyler? Well, is he sober? Sober and clean he might be great judge. Otherwise, I don’t know. If Aerosmith doesn’t even want him, do we?
