If you’re having a little trouble coming up with it, try borrowing these tips that we would imagine in our perfect closets:

Add a vanity. What better place could you imagine to touch up your make-up and exchange jackets other than in your own closet? A vanity will help that a lot.
While we are on the topic of being able to emerge from our closets like a fully adorned butterfly out of the cocoon, we would probably need plenty of light in our dream closets. Make sure it’s well placed and bright enough!
When it comes to closets, the rule will always be “the bigger the better!” Instead of being sad because your closets aren’t as big as you would like, consider repurposing a spare bedroom or attic!

Is it time to de-clutter that linen closet? Before you start planning to organize your closet, you need to get out all the clutter and really decide what needs to be in there. Here are our tips:

Make taking things out into a game! Set a timer for 20 minutes and see how much you can remove and sort in that time. If you are working on various closets, turn it into a competition between your family members!
Throw away anything that is getting ragged. You’ll have to replace it soon anyway. For old towels, consider donating them to your local rescue shelter.
