It looks like Ashley Tisdale and her beau, Boys Like Girls rocker Martin Johnson, are still going strong. The adorable duo were spotted out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday, where they made a quick stop at Burberry to pick up a pair of shoes.

With dozens of pre and post-Oscar parties set to take place over the weekend, I’m sure Ash and her main man just wanted to make sure that they had plenty of designer duds to rock on the red carpet!

Plugging away at her growingly successful career endeavors, Ashley Tisdale was spotted leaving a local studio in sunny Burbank, CA. The "High School Musical" veteran looked casually chic in a floral print dress, over-sized sweater and sunglasses as she made her post-session exit.

Tizzie's latest outing comes on the heels of other big career news for the always-busy starlet - as she has just been cast as the lead role in CBS' yet-to-be-titled Louis CK/Spike Feresten comedy pilot. For her part, Miss Tisdale will play Petra, a beautiful and witty assistant to a vintage clothing designer struggling to find her place in the Big Apple

Her new announcement has landed her plenty of Twitter love from family and friends including fellow celebrity Julianne Hough. The "Phineas and Ferb" sweetheart responded to all of the well-wishing tweets with an appreciative message reading, "#ifeelsomuchtwitterloverightnow."

EXCLUSIVE: High School Musical alumna Ashley Tisdale has been cast as a lead in CBS’ untitled Louis CK/Spike Feresten multicamera comedy pilot, an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times. Tisdale will play Petra, the beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer struggling to carve out her niche in New York. Louis CK and Spike Feresten wrote the pilot, an update of a script the two originally penned 13 years ago. BermanBraun, Universal TV and CBS TV Studios are producing. Earlier this development season, Tisdale was attached to star in and executive produce a semi-autobiographical multicamera comedy at ABC penned by David Holden. Tisdale, repped by CAA and manager Bill Perlman, starred on the CW drama Hellcats last season.

Chris Egan (Letters To Juliet) has become the first actor cast in ABC’s drama pilot Beauty And The Beast, a fantasy re-imagining of the classic Beauty and the Beast tale, wherein an embattled princess, Grace, discovers an unlikely connection with a mysterious beast. Egan, repped by WME and Anonymous Content, will play one of the leads, Grace’s fiance Gorrick who is her father’s most trusted soldier. The casting stems from the former Kings star’s talent holding deal with ABC. Last year he toplined another drama pilot for the network, Poe. Yves Simoneau is directing Beauty And The Beast from a script by Jon Steinberg for ABC Studios and Gary Fleder’s Mojo Films. The ABC Beauty And Beast is yet to lock in the two title roles while the CW pilot of the same name, based on the 1980s series, recently cast Kristin Kreuk as Belle.

Looking to get away for a bit, Ashley Tisdale was spotted leaving her Los Angeles home with her bags packed. The “Hellcats” hottie was all smiles as she strolled out of her residence behind her new boyfriend Martin Johnson, who was carrying her Louis Vuitton luggage.

On last night’s episode of “Raising Hope,” Tizzie made a guest-starring appearance as Mary-Louise, a member of a local improv group whom Jimmy (Lucas Neff) hires to act like his girlfriend to make his crush jealous. Neff told press, "It's just as sad as it sounds. It's a little sad for Jimmy, but thing is, it's sad but functional. Because she definitely gets a little bit jealous."

'Raising Hope': Ashley Tisdale helps Jimmy out on Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is a day to declare your love. Or perhaps hire a fake girlfriend to make the girl you really like jealous.

Jimmy Chance (Lucas Neff) actually does both on "Raising Hope" Tuesday (Feb. 14). Ashley Tisdale ("Hellcats") guest-stars as Mary-Louise, a member of a local improv group whom Jimmy hires to act as his new girlfriend in an efort to make Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) jealous.

"It's just as sad as it sounds," Neff joked when Zap2it visited the "Raising Hope" set during filming of the episode. "... It's a little sad for Jimmy, but thing is, it's sad but functional. Because she definitely gets a little bit jealous."

If you're rooting for Jimmy and Sabrina, don't worry too much about Mary-Louise: Tisdale doesn't foresee a love triangle developing.

"I think Jimmy's kind of intimidated by her, because the second time he meets her she's taking her shirt off, and it's making him really uncomfortable," she says in the video below. "But for Mary-Louise, it's strictly about her craft and being able to exercise it. She's just in for the acting skills."

Jimmy also ends up writing a short play about his relationship with Sabrina that Mary-Louise and other members of her troupe -- including Burt (Garret Dillahunt) and Virginia (Martha Plimpton) -- perform. Ashley Tisdale To Go On Raising Hope’s Valentine’s Day Episode

Ashley Tisdale has a guest star role in Fox’s hit, Raising Hope. She will play Jimmy’s fake girlfriend to help build some jealously up. The episode will air on Feb 14th, which will also mark as Ashley’s TV comeback after her series last spring was canceled. You can catch a fun preview down below, with the description for the episode called “Jimmy’s Fake Girlfriend” below this paragraph.

When Sabrina’s relationship with Wyatt gets serious, a dejected Jimmy tries to make her jealous by convincing a student at Barney’s improv class to be his make-believe girlfriend.

Good for Ashley! She has a lot of talent in acting and I don’t think people realize that. Then again, it must be hard for people to see her not as her former Disney character. That is a shame for her, but I do hope that this one will allow her to cross over. I am sure she is ready for a serious role now. She is well into her 20s, so playing a teen forever is not going to be her goal in life.

Do you think that Ashley should finally get her big break outside of teen shows? I do and I hope that happens soon. I could see her working full time on a comedy like this one. I think it would do her a lot of good and help rest of the world to see her in different eyes. But I am not sure if that is what she wants, so I suppose we have to see where she takes it next.

The braided hair trend is one look that is set to stay, and the latest celebrity trying out a braided style is former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale. The blonde beauty was spotted this weekend wearing a chunky side braid, as seen in published pictures by the Daily Mail.

The actress and singer wore a thick braid along her hairline, with the rest of her hair loose and flowing. Adding to her cute and quirky look, Tisdale worked a small splash of pink and purple color at the ends of one section of her hair. Perhaps she had taken inspiration from friend and Disney actress Selena Gomez, who has recently been rocking bright purple highlights.

Tisdale secured her chunky braid with a clear hair elastic and left the rest of her shoulder-length layers loose and flowing. Her style was carefree and had a cool bohemian vibe. Wearing oversized shades, Tisdale appeared to look makeup free, with the exception of sassy silver polish on her nails.

The 26-year-old was also showing off her recent hard work at the gym by flaunting her toned legs in a pair of tiny hot pants. Wearing an oversized tee and barely there shorts, Tisdale looked super-toned and slim.

Ashley Tisdale, who is currently dating Martin Johnson, lead singer of the pop rock band Girls Like Boys, looked happy and carefree as she sported her new boho look.
