Bar Refaeli reveals a sneak peek of her lingerie line

Israeli model Bar Refaeli is using social media to preview her forthcoming underwear range, under.Me. Forget using an expensive team of press officers, a little self-publicity goes a long way in drumming up some excitement these days, and not least when you are model Bar Refaeli.

The 26-year-old ex-squeeze of Leonardo DiCaprio is launching her own line of lingerie, and she took to Twitter to post a sneak preview. Wearing a black, super-soft cotton long top and briefs, the photo doesn’t reveal much away about the range, called under.Me, except to indicate that comfortable, body-conscious separates form the foundation of the range.

“It was appealing to me to do a line of underwear from the fabric I like with the basic, comfy design I always look for” Refaeli said recently. Under.Me’s soon-to-be-launched website describes the brand as “a new label of underwear for men and women, designed to simply fit”.

Having enjoyed a close working relationship with French lingerie label Passionata, for whom she has been the face of for several years, Bar is using the skills she has picked up on the job to follow in the footsteps of Elle Macpherson, who has enjoyed continued success with her Intimates line since launching 20 years ago.

Bar’s foray will also be hot on the heels of Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen, whose eponymous lingerie collections could make her a billionaire. Oh, and she just happened to date Leonardo before Bar did… Under.Me is set to launch in the U.K in time for Valentine’s Day.

They're two of the hottest ladies in the world, and Bar Refaeli joined up with Alessandra Ambrosio for a week-ending outing in West Hollywood, CA. The Victoria's Secret Angels leisurely strolled the sidewalks alongside one another while eventually reaching their destination of Fred Segal, where they grabbed up meals at the popular boutique's Mauro Cafe.

The outing comes as Miss Refaeli is eagerly awaiting the release under.me, which is a new line of underwear for men and women in which she's featured playing tennis in her underwear for the ad campaign.

"It's coming.. So soon! I'm excited! :) Under.Me," Bar tweeted during her West Hollywood outing, after having previously told of the line, “The philosophy is that underwear should complement your body, not steal the show. It was appealing to me to do a line of underwear from the fabric I like with the basic, comfy design I always look for, as well as underwear that can actually be delivered to your door."

She’s never been shy about showing off her killer body, and Bar Refaeli is featured in a new photo shoot for her new line of Under Me underwear. In the photos, the Israeli-born beauty is wearing nothing more than a bra and panties as she frolics around a tennis court.

Bar’s Under Me underwear line is just the latest venture in her quest to expand her career beyond simply looking pretty for the cameras. Kicking off the week with a relaxing night out with a friend, Bar Refaeli made her way to The Grove in Los Angeles. Clad in skinny jeans with a grey sweater and jean scarf, the Israeli supermodel and her gal pal hit up the shopping center's movie theater to catch an evening flick.

As the 26-year-old was leaving the cinema, a wheelchair bound admirer grabbed her attention - with Miss Rafaeli sharing a laugh with the young man before shaking his hand and continuing along on her way.

Over the weekend, Bar opted for a little sporting entertainment at the Staples Center - as she was there to cheer on Clippers point guard Chris Paul. Seemingly a good luck charm, Bar joyously tweeted after her pal's teamed pulled off a close victory, ""96 clippers 95 Spurs!"

Filling her weekend with a little sporting entertainment, Bar Refaeli joined a few friends in making their way to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The Israeli supermodel and co. entered the facility and took their seats to watch the hometown Los Angels Clippers take on the visiting San Antonio Spurs.

"96 clippers 95 Spurs!," Bar enthusiastically tweeted upon game's end - as she was there to cheer on Clippers point guard Chris Paul. Refaeli's attachment to Paul comes as the two paired up for a sexy shoot included in the just-released 2012 issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Most of the spreads in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue are shot in exotic locations, like private islands only accessible via helicopter or at Victoria Falls in Africa, so we were surprised to hear that Bar Refaeli did hers in a studio this year.

“I was shot with Rafael Nadal, Chris Paul, and Michael Phelps on three different occasions, because their schedules are so hectic that I had to travel specially every time, like twelve hours, just for a one-day shoot,” Rafaeli told us at the launch party yesterday.

“It was fun because we were just being silly, and it wasn’t all about posing; it was just about the energy and the vibe around it, and we had a blast with the three of them.”
So, wearing a bathing suit while posing with three iconic — and shirtless — athletes, did Refaeli feel what the rest of us do when we’re around her: Damn, I am so fat and flabby?

“Are you kidding? Of course! I’m talking about Rafael Nadal, Michael Phelps, and Chris Paul!” she said, laughing. “It’s not like I’m talking about, some, I don’t know, college team.”Plus, she was a little awestruck. “I’m, like, obsessed with sports, and I follow sports, so for me, every time I meet an athlete I’m really, really, um, like a 6-year-old girl.”

Rafael Nadal will be gracing the pages of Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue. The magazine, which hits newsstands on Valentine's Day, includes a spread of Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli posing with different athletes. Nadal is featured in "Bar & The Boys" along with Olympic champion Michael Phelps and NBA star Chris Paul.

Ten pictures of Rafa and Refaeli are featured on SI's swimsuit website. The spread was shot in Montreal by famed photographer Walter Iooss Jr. Judging by the way things have gone for Nadal over the past 13 months, it's only a matter of time before we learn that Novak Djokovic did a 20-shot pictorial with Kate Upton.
