By placing an order for products/services or using the relevant Services, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all provisions of these Terms of Service, and enter into a legally binding agreement with SoDomains. If you are agreeing to these Terms of Service on behalf of an entity, or by receiving Services as an agent, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity/organisation to these terms. 1.3 Your Conduct and Responsibilities. You acknowledge and agree that, concerning our Services, you shall not:

k. use our Services in a manner that (as determined solely by us): (i) promotes, encourages, or engages in child pornography, abuse of humans or animals, or otherwise encourages terrorism or violence; or (ii) engages in or incites any conduct causing damage to SoDomains or other customers, including but not limited to causing any IPs to be blacklisted by any online spam database, conducting DDoS attacks on servers, or similar actions.
If SoDomains has reason to believe that you have breached these Terms, SoDomains may immediately suspend your access to and/or use of the Services without liability.
2.1 Typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions may occasionally appear in the Service content. We reserve the right to:
correct any errors, inaccuracies, and omissions; and/or
modify descriptions, prices, and other information without notice (except where prohibited by law).
2.2 We also reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate promotions at any time without prior notice and without liability. The SoDomains website periodically updates the shopping cart adding function and the favourite/saved domain list.
2.3 While we have taken steps to prevent mass crawler programs from scraping website data, we cannot guarantee that such data will not be affected by crawler traffic.
3.1 Purchase Notice. All domain names listed on the SoDomains.com platform are offered for sale by the respective domain name holders or their authorised representatives. When completing a domain name purchase through the Services, you shall pay the corresponding amount displayed on the service page through payment channels authorised by SoDomains. The fees set forth in these Terms of Service do not include any applicable value-added tax, goods and services tax, sales tax, or similar taxes (including but not limited to Singapore GST, EU VAT, and other similar taxes.). Such taxes will be calculated at the applicable rate at the time of the transaction and shall be borne by you. The prices of domain names listed for sale through the Services may change at any time prior to the transaction without prior notice. Upon completion of the transaction and final verification and approval by SoDomains, you will obtain ownership of the purchased domain name, including the exclusive right to use the domain name, provided the domain registration is maintained and remains in good standing with the authorised registrar. Special attention: any related rights such as images, hosting services, logos, web page content, etc., of the purchased domain name shall not be transferred together with the domain name.
3.2 Domain Name Transfer and Registration. Upon completing the purchase and verification, you will receive the domain name through the current registrar. You may choose to keep the domain name with the current registrar or, where permitted by law and the registrar, transfer the domain name to another registrar. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with domain name registration requirements and maintaining good registration standing, including paying annual renewal fees directly to the registrar. SoDomains does not control the registration fees of any domain name, and you shall check the relevant registration and renewal fees yourself prior to purchase. Registration fees vary by platform, typically around USD 10 to 20 per year for a .com domain name, and as the new domain name holder, you are solely responsible for maintaining the validity of the registration status.
3.3 Payment Method Statement. SoDomains uses third-party payment platforms to process transaction payments. Your credit card information or other payment methods will be processed and stored by the third-party payment processor and will not be saved on our servers. You expressly acknowledge and agree that all payment and fund transactions are processed by third-party institutions, and the use of such platforms is subject to their respective terms, for which SoDomains assumes no responsibility. If you choose to pay relevant fees by credit card, you thereby authorise SoDomains to debit your designated account. If SoDomains discovers fraudulent debiting conduct by a buyer, it will seek recovery from the buyer in accordance with the law. If, for any reason, full payment cannot be debited, or if a notice of chargeback, refund, payment dispute is received, or if penalties for charged-back fees are imposed, you agree that SoDomains may take lawful measures to recover the outstanding amount, including but not limited to immediately cancelling domain names and services registered or purchased in your name without prior notice.
3.4 Payment Methods. SoDomains accepts multiple payment methods. Under no circumstances does SoDomains accept payment by cheque. Any cheques sent to SoDomains will be destroyed if not deposited or cashed.
3.5 Payments and Handling Fees. If SoDomains, in its sole discretion, offers you a Phased Payment option through a third-party payment service provider, you understand and agree that such arrangement is merely a payment schedule provided for your convenience, and you may be required to pay additional handling fees or service charges to the third-party payment service provider for such payment arrangement. The specific fee amounts and payment schedule will be clearly displayed by the third-party payment service provider at checkout, and you shall bear and agree to pay all disclosed handling fees. You undertake to provide true, accurate, and complete payment information and IP environment during the purchase and use process. Where payment gateway risk control measures are triggered or a transaction fails due to the use of a proxy or VPN, you shall solely bear the risk of order invalidation.
3.6 Refund Policy. IMPORTANT: You expressly understand and agree that, given domain names are digital virtual goods of an instantly delivered and irreversible nature, refunds, returns, or cancellations are generally not supported after the transaction is completed, except in the following circumstances:
(i) the domain name was not successfully transferred due to a SoDomains system error;
(ii) the domain name was locked by the registrar prior to transfer; and/or
(iii) other circumstances required by mandatory provisions of applicable law.
To apply for an exceptional refund, you should contact us at [] within 48 hours after the transaction is completed and provide relevant proof. If a transaction is reversed by the payment service provider due to payment fraud, unauthorised debiting, or payment dispute, SoDomains reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate the relevant domain name service, reclaim domain name ownership, and pursue you for breach of contract. 3.7 Dispute Resolution Guidelines. If you have any disagreement regarding any transaction, please first contact us at []. We undertake to respond within 2 business days of receiving the request and will use our best efforts to resolve it. Initiating a dispute (Chargeback) through the payment service provider without first contacting us may result in the suspension of domain name services, and the relevant domain name may be locked by the registry. We encourage you to first consult with us before initiating a formal dispute.
3.8 Third-Party Legal Rights Statement. SoDomains assumes no responsibility for determining whether any domain name offered for sale infringes upon the legitimate rights and interests of others. Buyers shall confirm on their own whether the purchase and use of a domain name would infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of other entities and individuals, including but not limited to trademark infringement or copyright infringement.
3.9 Registry Policy Compliance. You understand and agree that the registration and use of the purchased domain name must comply with the prevailing policies of the registry operator for the relevant top-level domain, including but not limited to ICANN (applicable to generic top-level domains), SGNIC (applicable to .sg/.com.sg domain names), or the regulations of country-code top-level domain registries. You are obligated to understand and comply with the relevant registry's registration agreement, acceptable use policy, and dispute resolution policy on your own. Violation of registry policies may result in the suspension, cancellation, or transfer of the domain name, and SoDomains assumes no responsibility for any such suspension, cancellation, or transfer.
Proprietary Rights and Licence
4.1 Ownership Statement. The Services, Service content, and products, as well as the infrastructure used to provide the Services, are the proprietary assets of SoDomains. By using the Services and accepting these Terms of Service, SoDomains grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable right to access and/or use the Services in accordance with these Terms of Service and other terms and policies established by SoDomains. Neither these Terms of Service nor your use of the Services grants you: (a) any rights relating to the Services apart from the limited licence set forth above; (b) the right to use or reference SoDomains' names, logos, product and service names, trademarks, or service marks in any manner.
4.2 Rights Reservation Statement. The materials, titles, videos, illustrations, photographs, graphics, and content contained in the Services, as well as the organisation and layout of the Services, are protected by copyright and enjoy rights under Singapore and international copyright laws and treaty provisions. Termination

7.2 You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoDomains and its officers, agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and representatives from claims of any nature (including but not limited to: a) your use of the Services; b) third-party claims arising from the use of the domain name after transfer (such as infringement of third-party intellectual property rights); c) breach of these Terms of Service by you or your officers, agents, employees, contractors, and representatives; d) fraudulent acts, misrepresentations, or intentional misconduct and negligence committed by you. You shall promptly notify SoDomains upon becoming aware of any claim that may give rise to a claim against SoDomains.
7.3 IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MAXIMUM TOTAL LIABILITY OF SoDomains AND ITS PARTNERS AND LICENSEES TO YOU ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO SoDomains FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE THAT IS THE CAUSE OF ACTION.
7.4 ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE PERMANENTLY BARRED.

SoDomains shall not be liable for any interruption, suspension, or delay in the performance of its obligations under this agreement caused by reasons beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, insurrection, riots, terrorism, crime, labour shortages, embargoes, postal disruptions, communication disruptions, epidemics, infrastructure failures or shortages, material shortages, or any other event beyond our control.
10.2 Assignment. You shall not dispose of any of your rights or obligations under these Terms of Service in any manner (including by gift, donation, negotiated assignment, sale, transfer, sublease, or otherwise) without the express written consent of SoDomains. Except as otherwise provided herein, your rights under these Terms of Service may not be assigned or transferred. If your creditors attempt to seize, levy, attach, or otherwise obtain your interests under these Terms of Service, we shall have the option to render these Terms of Service void.
10.3 Amendments and Waiver. Domain name holders will only share the information necessary for the third party to provide the required services, and will not sell or voluntarily disclose such information unless reasonably necessary and at the domain name holder's sole discretion.
4.4 IMPORTANT: When a SoDomains account is voluntarily or involuntarily cancelled, suspended, or terminated, this does not mean that your personally identifiable information has been completely deleted from SoDomains' systems and databases. 4.5 SoDomains will cooperate with government, law enforcement, and relevant private entities to enforce and comply with Singapore law and applicable regulations and mandatory requirements relating to its services. Where necessary, SoDomains may disclose customer information to relevant government authorities or private entities where reasonably necessary or appropriate. In addition, if SoDomains considers (including but not limited to pursuant to a subpoena) that retaining specific customer information is necessary to protect its own rights or the property and rights of third parties, it may further retain or share customer information to safeguard public safety, or to prevent or stop activities which it believes to be unlawful. By using SoDomains' website and services, users are deemed to expressly consent to this Privacy Policy. SoDomains reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time, and such changes will be published through public channels. While direct notification to users is not required, in the event of material changes, the company will notify customers via email or an announcement on its official website.
5.1 In the event of a data breach, SoDomains will conduct an assessment to determine whether the breach constitutes a notifiable data breach under the PDPA. Where the breach is assessed to be notifiable, SoDomains will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) within three (3) calendar days of the assessment and, where required, notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
6.1 Under applicable data protection laws (in particular, the Singapore PDPA and, where applicable, the EU GDPR), you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
a. Right of Access and Correction: You have the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information. If you wish to correct any information stored on SoDomains' servers, you must first log into your account and update the relevant information. This includes account holder information and information submitted through the various products and services offered on this website.
b. Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time by giving reasonable notice to us. Upon receipt of your notice of withdrawal, we will inform you of the likely consequences of withdrawing consent. Thereafter, we will cease (and cause our data intermediaries to cease) collecting, using or disclosing your personal data, unless retention is necessary for legal or business purposes.
c. Right of Erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We will assess your request in accordance with legal requirements and evaluate whether you have valid grounds for deletion. Please note, however, that we may be required by law to retain certain data in the following circumstances: fulfilment of legal obligations, prevention of fraud, exercise or defence of legal claims, compliance with the regulations of domain name regulatory bodies such as ICANN, and business operational requirements.

These third parties are predominantly affiliated companies that collaborate with SoDomains to jointly deliver relevant services offered by SoDomains to customers.
7.2 SoDomains customers may be served targeted advertisements based on their web browsing history and online activities. When you browse or interact with SoDomains.com and its services, these advertisements and offers may be displayed in the form of product banners. In certain cases, SoDomains partners with third parties to manage its advertising operations, including the placement of targeted advertisements on SoDomains' official website and other websites. These third-party partners may obtain user behavioural information through data collection tools such as cookies in order to deliver personalised advertisements to customers. Where available, such service providers offer options to opt out of such advertising.
7.3 SoDomains' website may contain links to third-party websites. SoDomains is not responsible for the privacy policies and data collection practices of third-party websites. You are responsible for reviewing the third-party privacy practices on all such websites yourself.
7.4 Some web browsers support users receiving alerts about website tracking technologies and allow users to set "Do Not Track" preferences. There is currently no unified standard or agreement within the industry regarding the specific definition of this functionality. In the absence of clear standards, SoDomains does not make any adjustments or modifications to its operational processes upon receiving a "Do Not Track" signal from a browser. 7.5 Where personal data is transferred to a recipient outside Singapore, SoDomains will take appropriate steps to ensure that the recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations to provide a standard of protection for the transferred personal data that is comparable to the protection afforded under the PDPA.

PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING ANY PURCHASE.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") forms an integral part of the SoDomains Terms of Service. Please read this Policy carefully before purchasing any domain name or related service through SoDomains.com. By checking your acceptance of the Terms of Service and completing payment, you are deemed to have fully understood and irrevocably agreed to all provisions of this Policy.
You expressly understand and agree that domain names traded on the SoDomains platform are non-physical, digital virtual assets. The core value of a domain name lies in the transfer of the exclusive right to use its unique identifier, and not in the delivery of any physical medium.
Given this nature, the domain name transfer process takes effect instantaneously and is irreversible. Once ownership of a domain name is transferred from the original holder to your registrar account ("Delivery Completion"), the domain name falls under your exclusive control, and the Platform is unable to recover or "take back" the domain name.
IMPORTANT: STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY APPLIES
By reason of the nature of the virtual goods described in Clause 1, and save for the very limited exceptions expressly set out in Clause 3 of this Policy, SoDomains maintains a strict policy of no refunds, no exchanges, and no transaction cancellations (the "No-Refund Policy").
You hereby confirm that you will not initiate a dispute, chargeback, or credit card payment refusal with any payment service provider (including but not limited to Stripe, PayPal, etc.) solely on the following grounds:
(a) the quality or characteristics of the domain name do not meet your subjective expectations after purchase;
(b) you consider the purchase price to be too high after the transaction, or you have found a less expensive alternative domain name;
(c) the domain name has dropped or been deleted due to your failure to renew it in a timely manner;
(d) the domain name has been frozen or cancelled due to your violation of the applicable registry operator's policies.
An exceptional refund may only be considered where all of the following objective conditions are satisfied and a written application is submitted by you within the prescribed time limit. Whether to approve such an application shall be determined by SoDomains in its final discretion based on technical logs:
(a) Transfer System Failure: A material failure of SoDomains' server or API interface, verified by technical logs, has resulted in the domain name transfer process to your registrar account failing to commence within 72 hours after successful payment (PUSH transmission failure);
(b) Seller Default Lock: The domain name was locked by the applicable registry or registrar prior to completion of the transaction, and such locked status was not caused by your purchase activities or account qualification issues;
(c) Mandatory Provisions of Applicable Law: Solely where a statutory right of cancellation is expressly conferred by the Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) or relevant case law, which cannot be excluded by contract.
If you purchase a domain name through the SoDomains platform using a "Phased Payment Plan", the special provisions of this Clause 4 shall apply in addition to the general provisions of Clauses 1 to 3 of this Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Clause 4 and the foregoing clauses, this Clause 4 shall prevail.
(a) Immediate Delivery: Upon your payment of the first instalment, SoDomains shall be deemed to have commenced performance. We will transfer the domain name to the registrar account corresponding to the email address you provided at the time of purchase, via an internal registrar push (PUSH). From the moment such delivery is completed, you shall have full use and management rights over the domain name (including but not limited to DNS resolution modification, domain name renewal, website hosting binding, etc.).
(b) Retention of Title and Transfer Restrictions: Notwithstanding that you have obtained use and management rights over the domain name, SoDomains retains the right to transfer and title to the domain name until all agreed instalments have been paid in full. To safeguard the transaction, the Platform will enable a registrar transfer lock on the domain name status, and you shall not transfer the domain name to any other registrar platform not affiliated with SoDomains during this period.
Given that a Phased Payment Plan involves the Platform advancing funds on your behalf or incurring exclusive costs in locking the asset, you expressly understand and agree that once a Phased Payment Plan order is created and the first instalment payment is successfully made, no form of cancellation, refund, or mid-term change to the payment plan shall be permitted.
In the event of the following default circumstances, the following automatic termination mechanism shall apply to this transaction:
(a) Default Trigger Event: You fail to pay three (3) consecutive instalments by their respective due dates.
(b) Automatic Termination of Contract: Upon satisfaction of the foregoing condition, this purchase agreement shall be automatically rescinded and terminated with immediate effect, without the need for any further written notice.
(c) Forfeiture of Domain Name Rights: Upon termination of the contract, you shall immediately forfeit all rights to the domain name (including but not limited to the right to use, the right to manage, and any expectancy of obtaining full title). SoDomains shall be entitled to immediately recover control of the domain name through registrar tools and reset the account status.
(d) Treatment of Monies Paid: In respect of the defaulted order, all monies previously paid by you (including the initial payment and any cleared instalments) shall be treated as liquidated damages and compensation for the period of domain name occupation, and shall not be refunded.
(e) Recovery of Costs: If SoDomains has paid renewal fees or related administrative costs to the registry on your behalf as a result of your overdue payment, such costs shall also be borne by you.
If you believe a transaction falls within the circumstances set out in Clause 3 above, you must strictly comply with the following procedure, failing which you shall be deemed to have waived your right to apply for a refund:
A. Time Limit: You must submit your application within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of successful order payment. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
B. Application Channel: Please send an email to [] from the email address you registered with SoDomains.
(a) Subject Line: [Refund Request] Order No. [Insert your order number]
(b) Body Text: A detailed description of the domain name delivery failure, including screenshots of the specific error encountered or screenshots of the registry lock status query results.
D. Processing Timeframe: We will respond with the outcome of our review within two (2) business days of receipt of a complete application.
For the purpose of delimiting transaction responsibility, the parties confirm that SoDomains shall be deemed to have discharged its delivery obligations, and the transaction status shall be deemed "Completed", upon the occurrence of any of the following circumstances, whereupon the refund channel shall be permanently closed:
(a) Transfer of Title: You have successfully received management rights over the domain name in your current registrar account (with the Whois information having been updated to reflect you or your privacy service provider);
(b) Affirmative Action: You have clicked the "Submit Transfer Out" or "Get Transfer Code" button for the domain name within your registrar account, or you have downloaded a TXT file containing the transfer password.
Pursuant to the provisions on "fraudulent debiting" in the Terms of Service, if SoDomains discovers and verifies that you have engaged in any of the following conduct:
(a) using a stolen credit card or false identity information to make payment;
(b) after having received ownership of a domain name, maliciously initiating a false dispute (Friendly Fraud) with a bank or third-party payment platform for "goods not received" or "unauthorised transaction";
(c) reselling the domain name for profit through a third-party platform or private channel while a dispute is ongoing,
SoDomains reserves and may exercise the following rights:
1. immediately submit an anti-dispute evidence package to the payment gateway, including the consent record to this Policy, IP logs, and the domain name Whois history;
2. immediately suspend or terminate your account access rights on SoDomains;
3. submit a dispute to the domain name registry and apply for the domain name status to be locked until the dispute is resolved;
4. report the matter to the relevant Singapore authorities in accordance with the law and pursue civil liability against you.
SoDomains reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time in response to business developments or changes in applicable laws or regulations. The amended Policy will be published on this page and shall take effect on the date of publication. You are obliged to review this page regularly to keep yourself informed of the latest terms.
