Her show Fashion Star premieres on March 13. Now a fashion designer she recently told USA Today, "I do walk around everywhere wanting to shrink things baby-size nowadays."Simpson also said she doesn't think motherhood will change her ability to focus on fashion.

According to Star Magazine (hey, stop laughing), Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson wanted to hit up a local Mexican hotspot in Santa Barbara called La Super-Rica Taqueria. The problem was because of all the hype, the line for the place is always around the block. But Jessica was too hungry and needed food in her mouth right then so she tried to go straight to the front hoping everyone would feel sorry for her fat, pregnant self and let her cut. Guess how that went?

“Unfortunately for Jess, the line went crazy and other hungry people started yelling at her,” explains the source. “It was so embarrassing. Eventually, Jess was escorted to the back of the line.”But she didn’t want to wait. Instead, Jessica decided to fill her rumbling belly with some fast food. “After all that, she just went to grab some Taco Bell around the corner.”

She sent him a sweet tweet on the big day, writing, "Happy Bday papa Joe Simpson! I love you! I'm so proud to be your daughter! Your compassion, strength, and determination inspire me everyday!" Jessica also had time to catch up on one of her favorite shows, The Vampire Diaries. She's watched every episode of the show, and joked, "ok, so maybe it isn't a minor obsession." She is in her last stages of pregnancy and no doubt feeling a little uncomfortable. So it appears that Jessica Simpson is sticking to what she feels most content in when it comes to her attire. The 31-year-old singer stepped out in another faithful clingy maxi dress today, this time in a pretty spring shade of green.

Suitably Jessica was out shopping at Bel Bambini baby boutique in Los Angeles. Showing off her very large baby bump Jessica paired her colourful outfit with some beige and bright orange wedges and a black blazer jacket. The pregnant star made her way into the upscale boutique accompanied by a friend, and kept refreshed with a bottle of Perrier mineral water.

The store, which is frequented by a slew of celebrities including Jessica Alba and Bruce Willis and his pregnant wife Emma Hemming of late, features an expansive nursery and furniture department. Jessica stepped out a near identical outfit only a week ago when she went shopping in Beverly Hills. But instead she had worn a grey version with her smart black blazer and another pair of her trusty wedges.

She has continued to wear heels throughout her pregnancy, but often opts for the brown pair which are much more comfier than stilettos. As she left the Four Seasons hotel, Simpson wore a pair of large dark sunglasses and appeared to be almost waddling to her waiting car. She was accompanied by her fiancé Eric Johnson, who is clearly doing everything he can to ensure that she is relaxed as she prepares for the birth of their first child. But as Simpson looks forward to motherhood, she was no doubt feeling particularly emotional today as singer Whitney Houston's was farewelled a funeral following her tragic death.

The Come On Over singer was one of many celebrities who paid tribute to Houston by posting a heartfelt message on her Twitter page last week. 'I found my voice singing Whitney Houston's music. Today I lost my idol,' Simpson wrote. The blonde star began her music career back in 1999 so no doubt Houston was a singer who she looked up to and took much inspiration from.

The Biggest Loser is a reality TV show focused on dramatic weight loss, so what's a pregnant singer doing on it? Well, it's not what you think: expectant mom Jessica Simpson will be promoting her fashion lines, not shedding pregnancy pounds. Whew!

Simpson, who will welcome her first child in just a few months, will take one lucky Biggest Loser challenge winner on a shopping spree in her own personal showroom on the March 13 episode. The winner will be allowed to bring one fellow contestant to pick out anything from the star's clothing, handbag, and skincare lines. Score!

"I was so happy when I was asked to help style two contestants from The Biggest Loser," Simpson said in an interview (via People.com). "I am truly inspired by how hard these contestants worked to accomplish their goals for a healthy lifestyle."

She added: "It was so much fun seeing the [contestants] try on clothes they would have never fit into before and feeling sexy. We had an amazing day together!"

And, it'll be a double dose of the future Mrs. Eric Johnson on TV that night. The premiere of the blonde's new competition show, Fashion Star, will air immediately following the weight loss program.

Jessica Simpson remains committed to her career despite being heavily pregnant. The 31-year-old fashionista is a judge on upcoming competition reality show Fashion Star! Although Jessica is weeks away from giving birth to her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson, the star is enjoying a busy schedule.

“The show is a main focus right now. While she can’t wait to be a mom, she’s getting antsy being pregnant,” a source explained to OK! magazine. “She’s sure that everyone is going to love the show, but of course, she’s nervous, too. She’s been showing clips of it to everyone on her iPhone. It’s a bit annoying but kind of cute, too.”

Jessica’s fashion line is highly successful, but the ambitious businesswoman is constantly thinking about expansion. “She already makes, like, a billion dollars in profits from the Jessica Simpson Collection, but she’s determined to grow it,” the source said. Jessica is elated with the positive impact she is making with her television show. She also appreciates the strong relationships she has developed with the cast.

The afternoon wasn't all fun, though, since Jessica was one of the many celebrities that reacted to Whitney Houston's death. She wrote on Twitter, "I found my voice singing Whitney Houston's music. Today I lost my idol." Jessica and Eric have been hanging in LA lately, but they took a trip to Indianapolis for the Super Bowl last weekend. They're prepping for the birth of their first child together, and Jessica also has her new reality series debuting soon in March. Fashion Star begins on the 13th and will feature Jessica's fellow judge Nicole Richie.
