Congrats to the top 4 girls on Idol! You’re all talented and just because there’s one winner doesn’t mean you all can’t win in the end. She should know better than anybody else. She is the Idol that started it all back in 2002!

Kelly Clarkson confirms new single 'People Like Us'

Details of Kelly Clarkson's new single have been announced. The singer will release 'People Like Us' in the UK on June 23. Clarkson recently confirmed that she has shot a music video for the track, tweeting: "I just saw an edit of my People Like Us video! It's so great! Chris, the director, did an amazing job! Can't wait for y'all to see it :)" The track serves as the second single from her Greatest Hits: Chapter One album, which was released in November last year. The star previously performed the track on American Idol, where she also confessed her love of judge Mariah Carey.

Kelly Clarkson has just confirmed that she plans to release her next studio CD in early 2014. She recently revealed that she has already recorded a few tracks for the collection, which will serve as the follow-up to her smash CD ‘Stronger’. Kelly also confirmed that she is working with producer Greg Kurstin on her Christmas collection, adding that it will probably end up being her “favorite” album, and we at Lite 98.7 will surely feature it during the 2013 holiday season.

Kelly Clarkson planning Christmas album

Pop star Kelly Clarkson will be releasing her first Christmas album later this year. The 30-year-old singer said the album is her most favourite project, reported Daily Star. "It`s probably my favourite album I`ve ever made. It`s so good," she said.

Clarkson is collaborating with acclaimed producer Greg Kurstin, who also produced her Grammy-winning album Stronger, as well as country music legend Ronnie Dunn. She is no stranger to recording holiday tracks. She sang a duet with `The Voice`s` Blake Shelton for his Cheers, It`s Christmas album, and she also appeared on his US holiday TV special.
