Paris Hilton commits audio treason with 'Drunk Text'

What do you get when you combine a bored celebutaunt with a cheesy perfume ad, cellular indiscretions and sub-par gym techno? That question will be answered within seconds of clicking on Paris Hilton's video for "Drunk Text," her cringe-worthy attempt at Shatner-esque spoken word. The track, a collaboration between Hilton and the Colorado-based production duo Manufactured Superstars, takes a poetic journey through her flirtatious exploits with a guy during a night at a club.

As the video graces us with shots of her ruby red lips and cracker-dry monotone, Hilton waxes poetic on the finer points of naughty cellphone communication. It goes something like this:

"You take the word 'sex' and mix it with 'texting,' it's called 'sexting'/When you add drunk sexting, the words just don't make sense/It's just a hot mess of misspelled obscenities, body parts and run-on questions I'm not sure what it means to ask."

Speaking to E! Online about the video, Manufactured Superstars (a.k.a. Brad Roulier and Shawn Sabo) said Thursday that the video had been leaked, that it was not ready to be released and that they were trying to remove illegal copies from the Web. We have an embedded version of the video below as well as a link to it here, but you might want to check it out soon, since we don't know how long either will last.

While we try to clear the acute stench of publicity stunt from the room, here's some other classy lines from the song, er, whatever this is:

Misunderstood and highly underrated POP star Paris Hilton is featured on a new track from Manufactured Superstars titled “Drunk Text”. Paris Hilton Launches Stylish Sunglass Line in Shanghai

Paris Hilton is expanding her massive enterprise and has just launched her new line of sunglasses in Shanghai. The heiress may be rich by birth, but she is not letting that stop her from paving her own way in the world. Her multiple business ventures, acting and recording careers are proving she has inherited more than just her family’s money. She has also inherited their savvy business sense.

Paris jetted out to Shanghai with her close friend DJAfrojack after spending the weekend in Las Vegas. The girl has got a lot of energy! She celebrated her birthday in Sin City before getting back to work. As usual, Paris has kept her fans updated with her busy schedule. She tweeted, “On my way to a press conference for my new sunglass line launch. Love my new collection! Love rocking my sunglasses!”

You can now accessorize like Paris Hilton with her new line of shades and her gorgeous purses. Paris went on a press spree to promote her latest designs and posed with the stylish shades. Of course, Paris knows it is important to prove how fabulous her products look by sporting her own designs. It is a cost saver when you can be the ultimate spokesmodel for your own product.

As with any Paris Hilton product, the sunglasses ooze classy, expensive elegance. Designs include various animal prints and some bright colors that give the shades of a bit of an edge. A color for every outfit. According to Paris, the launch was a success. As if she ever needed to worry!

Feeling broke? How's this for unfair: Millionaire reality star Paris Hilton won $30,000 in Las Vegas over the weekend, she reported on Twitter: "Just won 30k playing blackjack at @WynnLasVegas! #YES!#BirthdayGirlsLuck! I love gambling! :D."

The socialite was in Sin City to celebrate her 31st birthday with her parents and sister, Nicky Hilton, and her suspected boyfriend, DJ Afrojack. They also spent the night partying in XS Nightclub to celebrate her birthday and win. The $30K windfall is a drop in the bucket for the rich Hilton. She was born as an heir to the Hilton Hotel fortune and her various projects over the years — including several perfumes — have earned her millions.

"My fragrances are doing really well at the moment. They've produced more than $1.3 billion in revenue since 2005," she told FHM magazine in January. Nicole Richie's former BFF, however, told Piers Morgan in 2011 that she doesn't like to talk about money for fear of sounding "obnoxious."

"I have 17 different product lines… I do everything. I just launched my 11th fragrance," she told the host. "I do know (how much I sell) but I don't like to discuss money. It's something my mum always taught me. It just sounds obnoxious when people do that."She caved when the British talk show host persisted, asking her if her reported $10 million-a-year income is accurate.

"Yes (that's true). I do very well for myself. I feel really proud of what I've accomplished," she said. Must be rough. So, what is Hilton doing this week with $30,000 in pocket change burning a hole in her pocket?

"Just landed in Shanghai. I love China! #Shanghai is such a cool city! Loves it! :)," she tweeted on Monday.

Paris Hilton on Upcoming Album: Perfect For 'Clubs or Ibiza This Summer'

A Paris Hilton worked the red carpet at last night's Grammy Awards (Feb. 12), which she said would be perfect for "clubs or Ibiza this summer." "This album is so much fun, we've had the best time making it," Hilton said of the of the currently-unnamed sophomore effort last night. "Right now, dance and house music is really in. That's what this album is." Watch our red carpet interview below.

Hilton also revealed that Flo Rida, LMFAO (or "LMAFO," as she said) and "other surprise guests" also appear on the album. Paris recently told MTV that her comeback single would feature LMFAO, but it looks like the party-rock collaboration may not be the first taste of the album.

"We're deciding between four of them [singles] right now because they're all so amazing that its hard to choose which is first," Paris said of the album's first single, which will drop within "the next two months."

Afrojack also took time to speak with Billboard at the Grammys (next video), revealing that he helms four tracks on Hilton's upcoming album. When asked for more, the dance producer stayed mum, saying, "I'm going to let the music speak for itself."

Grammys 2012 Paris Hilton: LMFAO Blooper While Talking Music Career, Whitney Houston

It was a somber evening on the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards in the wake of Whitney Houston's death, but leave it to socialite Paris Hilton to lighten the mood.

On the red carpet, Hilton took the time to talk to E!'s Giuliana Rancic about her upcoming album -- executive produced by Grammy-nominee Afro Jack -- which includes collaborations with "Flo Rider" and "LMAFO," as Hilton said herself.

Since the electro pop band is actually named LMFAO (which stands for "Laughing My F----- Ass Off") Rancic subtly corrected Hilton by slowly spelling out the acronym before her next question. "Now L-M-F-A-O," she said. "You've known those guys a long time. How do you know them?"

Turns out, Hilton has been close with half of the uncle-son duo because her mom, Kathy, is friends with younger LMFAOer, Skyler Austen Gordy's, mom. "I grew up with Skyler since I was a little girl and we were like cousins. They actually used to deejay my parties, starting like eight years ago. They'd always play 'I'm In Miami, Bitch' and now, it's like one of the biggest hits in the world. I'm so proud of them."

Name slip aside, Hilton gave props to her childhood friend and also took the time to remember Houston. "I always admired her since I was a little girl," Hilton said. "I loved her movies, her music, I just thought she was such an icon ... I was in shock. It's so heartbreaking and awful."

Paris Hilton has 'crazy' day recording songs

Paris Hilton has spent a "crazy" day recording songs for her new record. The 30-year-old socialite - who hasn't released an album since her 2006 debut 'Paris' - took to her twitter account to reveal she had an "amazing" studio session with songwriter Taura Stinson and has been making good progress on her forthcoming album.

In a series of tweets today (08.02.12), she wrote: "Just finished another song, about to start another. "Just finished recording another song! #YES! On to the next one! "Had an amazing studio session with @TauraStinson. Just finished my Grammy fitting with @Judy_TheKids. Now off to a business dinner. (sic)"

Earlier in the day, she wrote: "On my way to the studio to record. Another crazy busy day!" The 'Stars are Blind' hitmaker - whose first single is set to be a collaboration with LMFAO - recently tweeted her excitement about working with Flo Rida and DJ Afrojack on her second album.

She tweeted: "In the recording booth, just finished 2 songs. Now about to start another, so much fun! I love music! (sic)" She later added: "Just finished recording 3 songs in one night! Working hard & feeling proud! So happy & excited with how everything is turning out! (sic)"

Paris Hilton Hard at Work on Sophomore Album

Paris Hilton spent Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, where she partied with her parents and their magnate pal Steve Wynn. By Tuesday, Paris was back at work on her sophomore album, clocking even more hours in the studio. Judging by her tweets, she's been productive: "Just finished recording another song! #YES! On to the next one! :D"

Paris has hinted that her new album, which reportedly features collaborations with longtime pals LMFAO and Snoop Dogg, will be significantly different from 2006 album Paris. She told Page Six that her boyfriend Afrojack is her executive-producer. Mixing business with pleasure: Always fun!
