I've been practicing so much lately at the hospital... light blue pencils then with brush over the blue pencils. I'm also getting a new PC in the mail soon so I can continue the coloring process of my pages...

I've been in and out of the hospital with Rianna; waiting for the Doctor to give the go to the deliver the Baby :D

I'm sleep deprived but I find I work better when stressed; The attached is called hospital art since we have been sleeping there.

So since I maybe a daddy this week; i'm posting new art work to hold everyone over.

Every Friday i'm going to post sketches from My upcoming book Really Violent:

Rianna versus Ninjas: I'm not sure if this situation will happen in the book; but sometimes in the creative process I just let mind put my characters in any situation I can think of. Rianna's character is like Charles Bronson, Clint Eastwood (Dirty Harry) and Chuck Norris so would it makes sense that ninjas may appear in the future comics. Of course i'll add like hundreds of ninja's in the background.

Plus I think you can put Ninja's in any story; even in the Care Bears.

30 days of Mothers Day

I just completed a project this week as a mother's day gift for a friend. He wanted a family portrait changed into vampires in the style of Ben Templesmith. I was familiar with his style as I was a fan of the 30 Days of Night book written by Steve Niles and the Movie directed by David Slade. This was a harder project since it was hard to mimic his coloring style...But I think I got close.

I sketch the family out and inked over sketch using light table; Then scanned into photoshop using numerous filters; Would I know how to do it again? probably not LOL!

I've been working on quite a few projects this pass month; I've gotten some commission pieces that i'm finishing up. I've completed a 5 page short story for Neil from tiny army. I just have to scan them in and color them; I may post some of the pages here or on Deviant (though they are pretty graphic in violence).

Santi and I wrote the first issue of Really Violent which is just pure action book in the vein of Hard Boiled and a Luc Besson film; but with a woman who has been pregnant for thousands of years and fights demons with a finger sidekick.

Sew What Origins is nearly complete with some coloring to finish up... Not rushing on that too fast until I get a newer PC; I've burnt out my Laptop with all the Flashy Photoshop use. I'm getting a Desk top; so this should speed up my coloring process.

The Sew What Manga is still a work in progress: this will be the next project after Sew What origin and Really Violent....

I'm posting some sketches from the upcoming issue of Really Violent ENJOY!

Phoenix Comic Con 2009...What a great experience

I remember how busy we were; it was just non stop traffic. Scott, Rianna and I worked on so many sketches. I think in my opinion we were a major hit at the 2009 con and I was very excited with how our booth came out.

I wish we took more pictures but I think the 4 we took shows how memorable it was..................................................................................
