Flash Menu Problem

We are about to launch a website for a client of ours, but cannot do so due to a silly problem we are experiencing in the flash menu.

When using firefox, you have to click a menu link twice for it to work properly. The first time you click, it reloads the flash header only (which is part of the menu) and you have to click again before it actually links to the new page.

Help With Stored Procedures In Postgresql

Here's a run down of what I'm working with. I have a table that contains game information (home team, away team, location, etc.). I have a second table that contains game assignments (who is working the game); this table has a game_id to reference the, well, game's id. I'm wanting to use a stored procedure to store snapshots of both tables whenever a change is made to a game. Initially I was going to create a stored procedure for each table and set a trigger before an update occurred, but there is information I want to store that I don't have access to when the triggers go off. Because of this, I'm trying to create a function that will perform both actions when I call it. I'm not accustomed to writing stored procedures, so I may be doing unnecessary actions (such as nothing := "INSERT ..."; it's the only way I could create the function without getting some kind of compile error). Here's what I have so far:

The intent is to pass the game_id, select all data of the specified game, store it in a separate table, grab all assignments for that game and store that information in a separate table as well. After calling this function I would update the game and assignments accordingly so that I can maintain a history of changes for the games. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Simple Mysql Question

Does anybody else see an error in my statement here? It's not throwing an error, but at the same time, it's not returning any values. The data is stored in datetime format: '2008-07-21 11:26:34'.

Disabled Athletes

Web Services

I'm not hopeful about this, but I may as well ask anyway. Does anyone know if there are any standard specifications for web services that are meant for online shops to talk to each other.

The scenario is that the customer is with Shop A, but the order fulfillment is being done by Shop B (the customer is unaware of this). So, for instance, Shop A will need to ask Shop B if it has stock of a certain item, and tell it to send the item to the customer etc. The problem is made difficult because there will be one "Shop A", but many "Shop B's", if you see what I mean. We don't know what the "Shop B's" will be running for stock control, so they would all need to implement Shop A's web service standard. If there was already some standard protocol (possibly already implemented by many online shops), it may be easier to persuade them to implement - otherwise we will have to invent our own and force it on them.

Any ideas? Cheers!

Since people respond better to visual clues, and little graphics attract the eye, I wonder if anyone uses any sort of 'link to this page' tiny button or graphic of any sort? Anything you would recommend?
