I wiped the Blackberry 8520 with BBSAK and the problem started.
When Blackberry has been wiped the error 507 came on the screen.
I tried to reload OS but the phone is not found.
I used the Apploader but Blackberry not found.
I tried 3 different computers with no luck.

I also don’t know and that is stupid that I didn’t check what was the software version and I don’t know whether it is Orange or Vodafone or maybe O2 UK.

How can I fix this blackberry and bring it back to life(it is not dead, but error 507 on screen)?

make custome firmware with redsn0w of firmware 5.1.1 it will preserve ur baseband to update after making custome firmware now restore ur fone with itunes after restore ur fone ask for activation insert ur official carrier sim card to ur fone n connect ur fone with itunes it will active ur fone.

NOW insert ur sim with old gevey sim which ur using on firmware 4.3.5 the gevey sim start up screen will show up accept it n w8 for no service status bar on left top when no service status show up w8 for 25 to 30 seconds it not show one signal status bar it will remain show no service dont worry it doesn’t matter after wait for 25 to 30 seconds make call to 112 and hangup with in 2 seconds after ending the call go to settings n turn airplane mode on n w8 until no sim card msg pop up after no sim card msg turn off airpalne mode n ur signals comes IN SHA A L L A H

I used time machine to make a backup and it said my USB (which had all the photos on) it said that is a backup so it asked me “are you sure you wan’t to do this” and I clicked no but the yes and no buttons were switched around and I clicked on Yes instead So I panicked and quit time machine immediately but it was too late and they all go deleted so Is there any way of getting them back.

I have a 3GS that had been flashed with Ipad baseband and it have intermittent issue with no wifi, no IMEI. The phone will boot up and work normally with my tmobile sim card then a few minutes later it will reboot itself then no IMEI, no baseband. I shut it down for a few minutes then reboot again and it works fine….for a few minutes.
It looks like the baseband chip is on its last leg. Is there a way to fix it beside replacing the baseband chip?:(

When the 4S came out as a global phone I was excited and got the first I could get my hands on which ended up being Verizon. Fully expected to get this unlocked and jailbroken by now. Best state at the moment is 5.0.1, still locked, on 2.0.12 baseband.

Is there a list for Verizon to add the EMEI for an unlock?

Separate effort I have a Gevey SIM but it did not come w/the SIM Reset Tool needed for CDMA phones, so I got a partial unlock (voicemail indicators popped up etc) but phone still remains locked from making calls.

Well, well, We can confirm according to Pod2g Post that:

  • 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak will be for all iOS devices [iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS, iPad 3 (the new iPad), iPad2, iPad 1, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G, Apple TV 2g)
  • 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak will release in a couple of weeks.
  • 5.1.x untethered jailbreak FAQ
