Do you ever communicate with your mind? Yes, this is human nature. Before continuing any work we always confirm with our mind. If our mind gives us a positive signal then we proceed with any activity otherwise not. If your mood is off you cannot able to talk with someone because our inner mind cannot give permission to talk with others but when our mood is set then we can able to talk with another person and also your mind gives you a warning signal if all is not good.

A similar system is available on the computer. Not like humans but...

So many people often ask what is localhost? I will try to explain in a simple way that its similar to our mind like your computer is talking to itself. The localhost address is 127.0.0.1, which is denoted as the loopback address. When you try to access "http://localhost" in the browser, the request will be not forwarded to the internet through your router but will remain in your own computer system.

ICANN(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is responsible you the allocation of domain names or DNS. However, certain address ranges are reserved for special purposes. The range of localhost is 127.0.0.1 to 127.255.255.255.

When you enter 127.0.0.1 on browser TCP/IP recognizes from the first block (127) that you don't want to connect with the internet, you are calling yourself instead.

See I am trying to communicate with the internet using loopback address but the request cannot be forwarded to the internet (Please see above paragraph for this reason)
