On Sunday, May 19th, the third edition of the Bike Parade rode through the streets of Kortrijk. Approximately 150 people turned up for this bi-annual event.

The Bike Parade was held during the Sinksenfeesten. This girl is from Cabaret Bicyclet, an act with 3 musicians, 2 dancers and a bike…

The boy in the middle won the button contest. He received the most buttons from other cyclists and won a bicycle!

Although the weather forecast wasn’t promising, the Bike Parade kept it dry.

Vous vous souvenez des vieilles petites plaques pour les vélos?
Est-ce que cela existait aussi à Bruxelles et en Wallonie ou seulement en Flandres? Elles remontent à une époque où les propriétaires d’un vélo devaient payer des impôts sur leur vélo. Bien sûr que nous ne voulons plus revenir aux taxes!

Mais les petites plaques sont restées dans notre mémoire et elles nous ont inspirées pour faire une version moderne et design. Nous avons créé un joli nouvel accessoire vélo de Belgium Cycle Chic.

We rented comfotable bikes at Provélo and followed our friendly and interesting VIZIT-guide on a beautiful tour around the Xandres shop. Starting off in Matongé, cycling towards Ixelles and Place Flagey. Then we headed for the beautiful Abbaye de la Cambre, discovered the chique Chatelain neighbourhood and ended in the Marolles.

It was a beautiful city tour, in the nice company of some Brussels & bicycle lovers!

Tussen het ijzerschroot vond hij drie oude fietsen. Daarmee stelde hij een prachtig retromodel samen en stak er een stel schitterende banden op.

Cycle chic revient dans la ville! Cette fois-ci, nous allons à la recherche de cyclistes Bruxellois: jeunes, moins jeunes, trendy ou sages, masculins ou féminines. Avec notre photographe professionnel, nous vous attendons durant tout ce mois de mai sur différentes place-to-be de notre capitale, avec un studio photo mobile. Au mois d’aout, nous présenterons 20 portraits sélectionnés dans une expo en plein air. Ce sera peut-être ta photo?!
