Hi,

I read some part of your blog and I am glad to see that you are loving your Journey. Wish you all the best for future.

Liora has said something very true in her comment in the previous post.

Hope to see you sometime before your travel ends.
I would love to sit with you and receive 'a drop' of experience you have gained and will continue to gain for many months.

Good luck dear friend ...

Hi Brad, It's Liora from Dharamsala.
Just got back to Israel and found your Blog's address written in my notebook, so thought I might check it out. Amritsar is so amazing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've decided to spend the night there too, and the experience of the Golden temple at night was something else.
You seem to me like someone who knows how to appreciate experiences for what they are realy worth, Rather then judge them by their exterior, and I found that this is a very good outlook on India. :)
I wish you a great trip!

This was so informative. I wasn't aware of half of the things you reported, especially that daily stadium event. Whoa! Who knew? Fascinating.

Vipassana is supposedly the purest form of mediation so I think it's thrilling you are considering studying that version of meditation. They call it the boot camp of meditation because it is the most rigorous of all. It's not for the faint of heart.

I have taken the 10-day course twice, once even with Goenka as my teacher. If you are able to take the course in India, you will be a most fortunate soul.

Goenka re-discovered the practice years ago in the remote mountains of Burma. He singlehandedly brought it out of obscurity and into widespread practice. So consider studying Vipassana in Burma as well. I know people who have gone to the center there and consider it to be the most powerful place of all to sit.

LOL on hippie stuff!
Globalization like any other process will have its positive and negative points. Countries like usa have lot of resources (called dollars or crude oil) so that things can function in an orderly fashion. The same resources when divided by a billion is always going to fall short hence the resource crunch in countries like India or China. But looks like you are acclimatizing well and having a blast already!
