Cyprus housing plan for low income and large families

Last week the Cyprus Government announced a housing plan aimed to help low income and large families acquire their own home.

200 million euro will be dedicated for loans through the Housing Finance Corporation.

This plan will be available to families acquiring their first permanent residence in Cyprus or European citizens living permanently in Cyprus for the last five years and have a yearly income of up to 40,000 euro.

'Stronger action' is required, said recently the mayor of Paphos Mr. Vergas, to get the following projects, which are already in the pipeline up and running:

Second phase of northern ring-road
The development of design for the western ring road
Reconstruction of the inner city Elliados Avenue & Pallikarides Avenue
Reconstruction of Tomb of the Kings Road

2009 Cyprus Rally - FIA World Rally Championship - Limassol

The third round of the FIA World Rally Championship, the Cyprus Rally is for sure one of the world’s major motorsport events. It attracts the world’s top drivers and teams who compete over three days, from March 13 to March 15, to win points towards their respective championships.
