Blood of the Dragon is the first C&T module for low levels (1st-3rd).  It was originally intended to be a one page dungeon, inspired by some inane Twitter banter between myself, Sacha Ratcliffe and John Ossoway. Then it grew like a small shoggoth and was next slated to be the introductory adventure included with C&T. Then it out grew that spec and mutated into its current form of a standalone adventure module.

I’m still pulling it together but my plan is to have a couple of adventure locations detailed , so you can get stuck in and play straight out of the box,  a guide to the land and encounter tables which facilities sand box play, and some colourful npcs that the pcs can meet and inevitably rub up the wrong way. There’s also already one new monster group, a tribute to a certain 70s Sci-fi movie series that stared Roddy McDowell in a mask .

This should come out shortly after C&T is released, if everything goes to plan it will be about a month later.

And the best bit is if you jump on the C&T pre-order now since we are 85% towards the goal with just under a month to go, its highly likely everyone on the pre-order will get it  for free

In The Company you play an employee of The Company – an elite independent Private Military Service Provider, a global security concern capable of dealing with any situation from a high octane firefight to the tracking down of serial killers. If you can think of it, The Company can handle it.

This 214 page Roleplaying which puts you in the boots of a member of The Company. Play a solider, a pilot, a surveillance officer or any other concept you can dream up that fits the setting.

The game uses a modified version OpenQuest, a straight forward d100 system, with extra rules to handle Guns, non-lethal weapons, mental trauma and Vehicles.

It also contains pages of World information about Trouble hot spots, terrorist organisations, and Competitors to the company. A skill-full blend of real world information, written by someone who has worked in the UK Defence industry, and game-able fiction.

Operation Bluebeard – A seemingly straightforward mission to parachute out of a Osprey onto an oil captured by Somali pirates and rescue the crew.

At the time Wordplay The Big Five was published, back in April 2010, Graham was unable to support the game, but now that he is it make sense for me to bow it and let him carry it forward.  I’ve simply got too much on my plate with other games to do it justice any-more.

It s been a joy to publish the Big Five. As a result I’ve had some lovely life experiences and I’ll always have my copy of the big white book (a print proof with the slightly different cover ) to cherish.

I’m ceasing to publish both Wordplay the Big Five (the core rules + four settings + adventure, 240+ pages) and Adventures In Wordplay: The Drowned Lands, at the end of this Month.
