Lynyrd Skynyrd (IPA: /ˌlɛnɚdˈskɪnɝd/) is an iconic U.S. Southern rock band formed in 1964. The band reached prominence during the 1970s under the leadership of vocalist and primary songwriter Ronnie Van Zant, until he died, along with several other members of the band (Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines and assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick), in a plane crash on Oct. 20th, 1977 in a Gillsburg, Mississippi swamp. At that time their current album "Street Survivors" showed them standing in flames. This album cover version was quickly pulled from store shelves and replaced with another non-descript cover in respect to the lost members of the band. Released as a single in late 1974, "Free Bird" became the band’s second Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 1975, where it peaked at #19. A live version of the song also reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977, peaking at #38. It is used as a finale by Lynyrd Skynyrd during their live performances, and it is their longest song. Listen to John Beltran – She Is for free. She Is appears on the album In Full Colors. The NME once reckoned there was a clock inside John Beltran’s head stuck fast at 5 am. It was because his music appeared to inhabit a pre-dawn state between the dancefloor and the soon to be sex or dream-soaked duvet, a special area where soft rhythm and ticking sensuality were neatly intertwined. John was brought up on classical, jazz and latin at home - early sonic memories include John Coltrane, Tito Puente and Bach. Still based in his hometown of Lansing, Michigan, USA, Beltran leads a quiet, but athletic life. He makes music influenced by his attitudes towards life and listening habits, plus trace elements of dancefloor experiences both past and present. Ennio Morricone – Adonai appears on the album Time Of Adventure. Ennio Morricone (born November 10, 1928, Rome) is an Italian composer especially noted for his film scores. He has composed the scores of more than 500 films and TV series. Although only 30 of these are for Western films, it is for this work which he is best known. Morricone’s sparse style of composition for the genre is particularly exemplified by the soundtracks of the classic spaghetti westerns The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Sergio Leone, 1966) and Once Upon a Time in the West (Sergio Leone, 1968). He received his first Nastro d’Argento in 1970 for the music in Metti, una Sera a Cena (Giuseppe Patroni Griffi, 1969) and his second only a year later for Sacco and Vanzetti (Guiliano Montaldo, 1971). Señor Coconut – Sweet Dreams at Last.fm. Uwe Schmidt (aka Señor Coconut; born in Frankfurt, Germany) is a German DJ and producer of electronic music. By 1996 he was thoroughly bored by European dance music and moved to Santiago, Chile to explore Latin music. He quickly adopted the intentionally ridiculous Señor Coconut moniker, and soon released "El Gran Baile", finding time afterwards to do a little remix work for Towa Tei, formerly of the multi-national Deee-Lite. His next release, in 2000, was the delightful Latin-Kraftwerk fusion of "El Baile Alemán". The album featured several Kraftwerk classics reworked with Latin instrumentation and rhythm. "El Baile Alemán" was intended as a salute to, and a parody of Kraftwerk as evidenced by the intro to "Autobahn" which featured the sound of a car that wouldn’t start.
