The following interior design just makes me smile.  Located in London, the property is filled with colorful accents.  This living room is my favorite.

Against a white background, the pink and turquoise really pop!  And if you look very closely - there are even intricate architectural details along the ceiling.

Add in the fireplace and bookshelves and I know I’d enjoy spending time here.

In the “Private Eye” section of February’s Allure Magazine, they posed the question: Who is your girl crush or bromance? 

The celebs they polled had varying responses.  Here are a few…

• Emily Blunt likes Juliette Binoche
• Lauren Bacall named Penelope Cruz
• Jerry Seinfeld chose Larry David
• Eva Longoria Parker gave a shout out to Lady Gaga

So of course it got me thinking, “Who’s my girl crush?”  The answer was easy.  Angelina Jolie.  I know she’s controversial - but in my opinion, that just makes her more interesting.  And whether she’s in jeans or an evening gown, hair up or down, I think she always looks good.

So now I throw the question out to you:  Who is your girl crush or bromance?

Stars were shining brightly last night as Hollywood celebrated the 82nd Academy Awards.

Gowns were fun and colorful.  And with a mix of reds, purples, metallics, pastels and more - it was almost difficult to choose a favorite.

Following is an assortment of the different looks seen last night.  I personally fell in love with SJP’s total look.  From her dark-rimmed eyes to the goddess-gown… she was my favorite.

I found the following quote last week - and couldn’t help but wonder, “Is this her secret?”

Sophia Loren is known as one of the great beauties of film.  Decade after decade, Loren continues to remain somewhat of a sex symbol.

Beautiful both inside and out, she is an intelligent women who never seems to take herself to seriously.  She’s even been quoted as crediting her body to spaghetti.

Good genes definitely play a role, but is there more for Sophia?  Perhaps the following quote is a clue to how she’s remained so stunning even after all these years.  Maybe confidence is her secret weapon…  What do you think?

While in France a few years ago, we decided to get out of Paris and see the countryside.  Roadtrip!

So we piled in to our miniature rental car and headed out.  With our usual good timing,     we left the city during morning rush hour.  Big mistake.

But eventually we made our way out of Paris.  As we drove for the next few hours, every view looked like something from a postcard or in a coffee table book.  At times we’d stop at tiny antique shops in quaint villages along the way.

We saw vineyards, grand estates and ivy-covered stone cottages.  It was a trip I’ll never forget - and it’s today’s French Toast!  The following are a few photos I snapped along the way.  Enjoy and have a great weekend!

As fashion weeks starting winding down, some are looking forward to the next trend in fashion. This week, I was thrilled to see so many bloggers focusing on the past -the history of fashion.

An obvious passion of mine, vintage fashion has never been so influential. Fête à fête reviews a gorgeous collection of vintage inspired jewelry. Fabulous Finds narrates a 1950s styled romp through Palm Springs. Oranges and Apples shares inspiring vintage Life magazine images. In politics, if you don’t learn from history, you’re destined to repeat it. In fashion, if you don’t learn from history, you won’t know you are repeating it!

As I’m in the middle of growing out bangs, cute hair accessories are a must.  Recently I came across the darling designs of Little Daisy Chains on Etsy.

Little Daisy Chains carries a variety of beautiful  and unique designs including earrings, bracelets, etc…  But the hair accessories are what instantly caught my eye.

When Karl Lagerfeld sent varieties of clogs down the Chanel S/S 2010 runway, a buzz began.  Would Karl really bring back the clog?

The answer appears to be a resounding YES!  The wooden shoe has been reborn this season with varieties from Chanel, Stuart Weitzman, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Topshop, Lucky, Guess, L.L. Bean, Steve Madden and more.
