In addition to the hot days, it seems like we’re getting big thunderstorms just about every night. The flooding is Iowa is getting really bad, fortunately not in most of Des Moines though.

It’s been brutally hot these past weeks…not that I’d really notice since I spend all day in the hospital. But I hear it’s hot outside.

Man oh man did we have a crazy thunderstorm recently. Being downtown, I could feel my whole building shake and this complex is pretty much solid concrete. I really love midwestern rain storms though I had to dig out my flashlight because the lights were flickering.
