Bittbox has received a new look, nice work guys! NYCResistor will be hosting an art show the weekend of July 26th and they are looking for submissions. Like zombies? Well get your daily dose of them, drawn of course. Comic fan? Then you’ll enjoy the creations of Ben Oliver, some amazing stuff on his blog. My Life in a Cube: daily reflections by Shane Johnson. I just wanted to apologize for the lack of updates recently on daily.pb. My cable at home (tv and internet) have been down for the last week so I haven’t been able to access PB for updates. That, mixed with being VERY busy at work have added up. Anyways, I’ll try to post quite a bit more for you guys, thanks for hangin in there!

Longtime PB submitter (and interviewee) Bronwen Hyde has a new book out now entitled: “Darkness & Light”. Within the covers of this volume you will find 109 images from Bronwen’s 366 Days project. Taken between 17 April 2007 and 18 April 2008 the images represent a year of darkness and light.

The VSS were an angular post-punk band from San Fransisco, famous for using horror-film keyboards in conjuncture with their hardcore punk stylings. There isn’t anything particularly original about this to begin with, but the VSS did it in a way that took something visceral and human and added a cold, robotic edge.
