Tough Love

2014-04-29T23:32:00.000-07:00

I love the instant power a biker jacket can have! It has the ability to “toughen up” any outfit without even trying. I mean, although I absolutely LOVE wearing colorful clothing pieces, sometimes I find myself wanting to wear bright colors with a little twist. I like to incorporate my edgy side by adding that perfect piece to balance off the girly-ness with some too-cool vibe. This outfit id great for those spring date nights with your boo or friends! If you want something more casual, skip the heels for some dope sneakers instead!

Soooo perf!

Lucky Fabb Day Two

2014-04-22T11:37:00.000-07:00

Lucky Fabb Day 2 was a perfect sunny day! We were invited to have a delicious brunch with Lucky Magazine along with other fabulous brands and bloggers. I had a great time meeting so many amazing individuals!

My goal was to dress both comfortable and cool, all at once! :) Is that even possible?! Well I think so. What better way than to dress up your boyfriend jeans with some sexy heels. I have to admit, my obsession for boyfriend jeans has grown immensely over the time! They so comfortable! I can rock them everyday, literally. I have officially determined that boyfriend jeans are a MUST in every girl’s closet. Especially with extra rips!

Awww LOOVE!!!

Lucky Fabb Day One

2014-04-13T22:47:00.002-07:00

Hi there! So I headed to L.A for a fun weekend full of fashion and beauty with Lucky Magazine!

It was my second time attending the Lucky Fabb West conference, and of course I absolutely loved it! It was so nice to reunite with many friends, catch up, and enjoy the great guest speakers and informative workshops.

I wanted to put together a couple outfits that really reflected my personality and personal style. So decided to finally rock these polka dot pants! And let me tell you, they were everything! They were extremely comfortable and I got tons of compliments! Although these pants can give you that automatic comfy casual look, I like to dress them up with a pair of sexy heels for that effortless glam. I mean, who doesn’t like to wear polka dot pajama-looking pants and feel fabulous? I doooo!

Off Duty

2014-03-25T22:00:00.000-07:00

Hi! Finally getting a post together here… It has seriously been a bit hectic lately. School has been kicking my butt, especially with midterms right around the corner. It always feels so good take a break from the books and instead blog and share some pictures with you!

Because my weeks can get kind of overwhelming, treating myself to a nice mani and pedi here and there always feels so refreshing. It is usually the day I grab an ice coffee, run some errands and chill. I like to feel comfortable and cute, all at once for the perfect off duty outfit. I wore these super comfy pants, which are so easy to style. Simply throw on a tee and have fun with the accessories!

Biker Chic

2014-03-12T21:20:00.002-07:00

I’ve been really diggin’ the whole laid back biker-chic look lately. It’s one of my favorite looks for those casual dates with friends around downtown.

I love the idea of dressing up my favorite tee and pairing it with some ripped up jeans for that hint of effortlessness, throwing on a leather jacket and some black sleek boots for that instant cool.

Off we went to grab some yummy pizza with babe at our favorite spot. This comfy look was so perfect! I obviously stuffed my face.. :)

Beanie Lover

2014-02-26T13:06:00.000-08:00

Beanies have definitely been a must for me lately. They are seriously the easiest way to cover up messy hair as well as adding that just chillin’ vibe to your too dressed-up outfit.

Since I have been going through an oversized coat obsession, I thought I would try to style my coats a little different every time.

Lately the bay area weather has been a little unpredictable. Some days feel like spring, and other feel like winter. So, beanies are totally perfect! Plus, it’s such a nice way to change around your everyday hair-look.

Some days it just feels so right to wear lipstick! Either it’s the perfect touch for an outfit, the perfect amount of color for a minimal make-up day, or you’re just an everyday lipstick lover! Over the years my love for lipstick has grown immensely. I remember starting off with soft natural colors and slowly growing the courage to rock more vibrant colors. Now I absolutely love lipstick! I think it’s pretty amazing how a little lipstick can transform a simple look into a more glamorous look.

Casual button up, black waxed denim pants, beanie, heels, plaid and mixed patterns! Ooooh yes!! My kind of outfit for sure! There’s nothing better than wearing the most casual items in your closet and adding a beanie for the uneventful hair-do-days and some heels for that perfect touch of glam!

I really enjoyed rocking this outfit. It was so perfect for this warmish-chilly weather we’ve been having in the Bay Area lately! Perhaps wearing a boxy jean jacket for some extra warmth next time? Definitely!!

Hello 2014!!

2014-01-06T22:53:00.000-08:00

It’s finally 2014!!! This year has honestly been a rollercoaster! It was a year full of ups & downs, tears & laughter. Full of memories and life changing experiences that have helped shape the person I am today. Nevertheless, it was a good year and everything happens for a reason regardless of good or bad. I say this with a smile on my face! I am beyond excited to start a fresh new year! It just feels so good! I have many plans, goals and dreams I want to accomplish and I only hope that this year will be an amazing year, full of happiness!

Thank you all so much for following me along my journey thus far. My blog is like my diary, documenting my life one week at a time! It truly means a lot to me!! XoXo!!

Holidays are right around the corner! Actually, next week! I am sure many of us are currently on a hunt for a cute holiday outfit. And believe me there’s tons of cute ones out there. I personally love wearing super girly dresses during the holidays. Come on, it’s sorta that time of year where you can wear sparkly stuff everyday and totally get away with it! Doesn’t that sound so perfect!

Ever since my accident during the summer, I have not exposed my legs much. Thank god my legs are fully healed but I do have some scars. This was my very first time in a couple of months I wore a skirt, and believe me I was very nervous. I told myself I would have to find the courage to forget about my scars and wear what truly made me happy without caring what others thought about me.

It was my birthday and I really wanted to wear this adorable vintage skirt I found while thrifting. The tights not only made me feel more comfortable but also kept me warm. To be completely honest, this outfit totally made me feel like Cher from Clueless! Loooove it!!

Yes, it’s fall and what better way to add some chic-ness to any outfit! Hats of all shapes and sizes are totally having a moment this season, and I LOVE IT! They are so fun and stylish, and can transform any effortless look, to polished and sleek. My obsession with hats has definitely grown over the last couple of years, but now that I have much shorter hair, I love them even more! From floppy to structured, to black or tan; hats come in all shapes and sizes and are so much fun! They are absolutely a must in my fall wardrobe, especially for those bad hair days!

Finally!! I love the feeling of fall- the coats, the layering, the booties, and simply the coziness everywhere you go. I am so excited to play with different prints, textures and fabrics. It is so fun to try to come up with an interesting outfit, and still manage to look ‘put together’. I found this coat in my mom’s closet, and oh my god, I instantly fell in love with the color! It was just right.

Oh New York… Honestly I am so in love. I came back from the Big Apple a few weeks go now, and going through the pictures made me want to go back already! New York is so beautiful. This was our last day in the magical concrete jungle and oh boy it was a gorgeous day! Yes, it was a bit chilly, but the air was so refreshing and the day was bright with golden leaves everywhere. It was perfect. We wanted to enjoy our last day by walking through Central Park and doing some last minute shopping of course. Until next time NYC! xoxo

Lucky Magazine Fashion and Beauty Conference, also known as LuckyFABB was hosted in New York City. It is an incredible event, I am so glad I was a part of it! From informative presentations, to fashionable chats with exclusive designers, to fun panels and mingling around with some talented and awesome bloggers! It is seriously a great experience! I got to meet new friends and of course reunite with old friends that I truly adore.

As far as my outfit, I wanted to represent my style as well as be comfortable. I paired this beautiful floral blouse I picked up at a local thrift store, with these cool houndstooth pants for that cool contrast of patterns. To complete the look, I threw on a black blazer and a pair of classic pointy heels for a more polished outfit. It was a chilly day in NYC so I also added a black coat for extra coziness.

Thanks for the pictures : Melissa & Cheri

New York, New York! I am soooo excited to finally say I have visited NYC and experienced the concrete jungle! New York is beyond amazing! It’s a beautiful place, full of inspiration everywhere! I have seriously fallen in love. I spent a couple days in the Big Apple, for both business and pleasure. The weather was perfect. Yes, okay a little too cold in the mornings and evenings but boy I enjoyed every second of it! NYC was exactly how I had envisioned it, if not even more mind-blowing! I have so many pictures to show you about this trip, I can’t wait to share!

I flew out with my two favorite girls in the whole world… my mother & big sister. We took advantage of this much needed girl trip and explored the magical city together. I decided to wear comfy clothes on the first day since we were gonna explore the neighborhood before we settled in our hotel. It was early in the morning, so I decided to go for the casual look, and what better way than rockin’ a graphic tee, distressed jeans, booties and the coziest long chunky cardigan and hat for the wild morning hair. Yes it was awesome!

Yes, I finally did it. I decided to cut my hair, short. Well it’s short for me since it is the shortest I have ever gone since I was a little girl. And let me tell you, it feels so good and refreshing! I was so hesitant at first, but then I constantly stopped to think about how I’ve had the same ole’ hairstyle for many years now and it was definitely time for a change. Although it’s been a bit challenging to learn how to style my short hair, I think it’s a perfect look for the Fall, which I am very excited about!

What better way to officially end the summer with a little pattern fun! As you may already know, I love mixing patterns! Not only is it playful and cute-funky but also it’s actually really easy to do, just stick to one color! Stripes are the new basic pattern so it is a good way to start. I’ve had to do many class presentations lately and wearing fun outfits it’s definitely my favorite.
