If you’ve had a session recently, then you might have had the chance to meet Chelsea, the newest member of Danielle Sara Photography!  She is awesome. It’s about time I gave her a proper introduction. Chelsea has been working with me as an intern for the past two months. She is eager to learn, super sweet, and has a great eye for photography. And she has LOTS of patience for me. I’m over-the-moon to have her on board.  So far we make a pretty good team! Without further ado, get to know Chelsea…

Hello, I’m Chelsea! I’m thrilled to be working with Danielle. I’m a student at the Washington School of Photography right now and I’m figuring out what I want to do with my passion for the camera. 

Fun Facts…
~Grew up in Alaska. I miss real wood burning stoves…. I do not miss the outhouse as my bathroom!
~At 19, got my pilot’s license and have taught flying
~I bought and lived on sailboat for 2 years and love to be on the water
~Served as an officer for the US Coast Guard
~I am an animal lover. Growing up, we had 12 dogs and enough other pets to make a small zoo.
~Met my husband while racing sailboats in San Francisco. Married for 1 year! 

Why Photography…
~Started in high school with film and have always wanted to learn more
~I love people and being able to catalog their lives
~Taking photos of people is a great way to get to know them, sparks fun conversation, and allows me to give them something special…photos they love!

Chelsea

I’ve known the F family for a few years and I was thrilled when I heard the news they were expecting baby boy #2! Baby B arrived as a chunky 9 pounder! I love his adorable rolls and chubby cheeks. He is welcomed by a very proud and loving big brother. I know they are going to get into such mischief together   Congrats again M and K!

Baby Nolan came to visit me for a four month old session and he was a rockstar!  He gave me some fantastic expressions and smiles.  Such a beautiful and sweet little boy!  I can’t wait for his next Watch Me Grow session. 

For those of you with an addiction to your mobile device (I do!) …. I am excited to introduce a new addition to my products.

Mother’s Day is around the corner! The perfect time for updated images with your children. To celebrate this special day, Danielle Sara Photography’s annual Mommy & Me mini sessions are back again this year! I loved having baby F in the studio for his newborn session! He visited me with his loving parents and furry big brother! We started off with shots of baby and pup together and they were both amazing. I’m so pleased I was able to capture these images for mom and dad.  The whole S family is just as sweet as can be. Congrats again on your baby boy!

I’m thrilled to introduce the adorable Baby M to the world! Her mom and I are college friends so I was excited to see her with baby girl number two! Time has gone by so fast. I photographed big sister over the past two years too and I know these girls are going to be great friends growing up together. Both beautiful, just like their mom! While I was editing M’s images I noticed how her gorgeous hairline is exactly in the shape of a heart. Can you see her heart shaped face? I just love it. Congrats again S+K!!

This sweet little girl visited me at the studio and I was thrilled to finally meet her! I’ve known her family for a few years and it’s always extra special for me to photograph friends during such a special time. Baby M joins a very proud and loving big brother! They were both fantastic during the session and we were able to capture some beautiful images.

She is cute as can be! Congratulations again B family!

Newborn baby J came to visit me at the studio and he was so adorable! He gave me great eye contact as well as some beautiful sleepy shots. I had so much fun meeting his mom and dad and both sets of grandparents too. He is surrounded by so much love and an amazing family! What a lucky guy!
