Mixers, Fundraisers, and Radio, oh my!

It has been a little while since we’ve talked, but I have missed all of you. I wanted to tell you all that I will be performing at two separate venues this month, as well as doing an interview with the always supportive, CFWE radio.
I will be performing at a fundraiser/silent auction on February 10th, and at the Hill Top Pub on February 11th. Check out the tour page for more details.
Make sure to tune into CFWE radio on February 10th at 9AM to hear my interview with Wally Desjarlais, and to hear me perform a couple of my tracks.

CCMA Country Music Week Showcase

Country Music Week is this week (September 8th-12th) and guess who will be showcasing material from their upcoming album? I am so excited to have been selected to perform at this year’s CCMA Showcase sponsored by AMIA and Global Country! CFWE Interview

Well today I had an excellent sit down interview at CFWE with Wally Desjarlais. I’d like to thank Wally, Alan and everyone who listens to CFWE for requesting “Shooters First.” You can check out a couple of photos in the gallery. Thank you as well to all the fans all over the globe for liking the music and requesting it. It is thanks to fans like you that make writing and playing music even more enjoyable!

The sample clips of the upcoming album’s tracks are over here for those who have not yet downloaded them.
Also there was a minor issue with our contact form, but it has now been resolved so you can go ahead and get a hold of the team again.

Also we are very excited for our album cover photoshoot tomorrow with Mode LaVan Photography! We’ll try and post some behind the scenes shots from the photoshoot, so you can get a sneak peak.

Check out our new single, “Shooters First” that has just been launched to radio. Call your local radio station and make sure that you request it! The only way that you can hear us on the radio is if you ask your stations to grab our song.

Listening Party

Just hosted a listening party for the new CD this past weekend. The response to the songs was great. If you haven’t entered the Name the Song contest, please do so ASAP as we are getting ready to head to the final mixing stage! Watch for news regarding the CD release!

Hello all! We just wanted to update to say that we have moved from darlene-olson.com to our new home at darleneolson.ca. You can still access this website from darlene-olson.com, but we thought the address of darleneolson.ca would be easier for our fans and visitors to remember.
