Jervey Speaker, Coach, Author

Do you remember the movie Malcolm X? At the end, when they had finalized their plot to kill him, they got the ruckus started with a man standing up and saying "Get your hand out my pocket," in a loud and charasmatic voice.

When I began to think of what I wanted to blog about today, I thought of that movie and what that meant to me. Your pocket is a symbol of possession and possession is often tied to money or lack there of. If you happen to have an unhealthy relationship with money, your pockets are probably empty.

When it comes to healthy relationships, whatever we love, honor and respect creates a foundation for relationship success. i mean think about it. Think of you boo...you love him/her right? On what foundation is that relationship based? Honesty, integrity, trust, collaboration, etc I could go on and on....The same must be true of your love affair OR emotional rollercoaster with money.

Many people are caught up in a mindset that money is evil. But let me be clear, money is not evil....an obsession of money that alienates others is evil. And that obsession could be positive or negative. If you are so caught up in what you don't have that it stifles you, you are obsessed with the very thing you don't have and that can be constrewed as evil.

As the Bible says, you cannot serve two masters. I am not suggesting you serve money, quite the contrary. I am suggesting that you understand the reason why money exists and develop a healthy understanding as to why you need it in your life.

Again, let me be clear. You need money, as do I. Money gives us choices, and when you invite the shift of how to look at money and how respecting money for its purpose can allow you to live in a space that is the opposite of lack - abundance life can truly begin.

1. Complete a Self-Assessment of what you think of money. Is it healthy or unhealthy? When you were growing up, did you live with people who constantly said, "I don't want to be rich, I just want to get by?" Did you constantly tell yourself and others, "It's not about the money; I don't need to be rich?" That is not the abundance that Jesus died for and you are entitled to. How do you feel when you have money? How do you feel when you don't? Do you have healthy spending habits? Are you always saying I'm broke? Are you upset or jealous when you see others with money? These are unhealthy traits that are affecting your ability to have a great relationship with money.

2. Be honest with yourself. Own it and then prepare to change what needs to change to develop a healthy appreciation for money. What do you need money for? Why would money be a blessing to your life? Who would you be able to help if you have more than enough money?

3. Develop a relationship with a coach to help you to change your mindset and create an alignment that speaks to the abundance to which you are entitled.

4. Give. By giving, you attract money to come back to you. I give away $1 a day by hiding it in a place that someone will find it and be blessed. $1 won't break your checkbook but it will change your financial picture. Don't believe me...try it for yourself. Don't make it about you. Just arbitrarily hid $1 and know that your generosity will bless some one else. I know that the law of reciprocity is at work when you freely give of the abundance that has been given to you.

Be Incredible...it's already in you,
Darnyelle

Copyright (c) 2010 Darnyelle A. Jervey - Speaker, Coach, Author

I think it was Public Enemy who rapped the song, "You Can't See"...I woke up this morning and as I reflected on how grateful I am to be here experiencing so many Incredible things, I thought about each of you. In the song, Flava Flav and Chuck D sing "You can't see what I can see, you're blind baby, blind to the facts." And before you get mad at me for calling you blind, let me explain what I mean.

It's the first Walk it Out Wednesday in the last month of the first quarter of the new decade. Many of you got excited about the new year and set Big goals yet you can't really see them manifesting in your life. Many of you do things just because it seems cute or so that you don't stand out like a sore thumb. But you do stand out because you are wandering aimlessly through your life trying to do this and that without vision and purpose.

Stop.

Today, I encourage you to begin to give yourself a check up from the heart up - what is your life description? (similar to a job description, but for your entire life) What do you want for your family? Yourself? Your Career? Your Marriage or Relationship? What is that one thing that you want to be able to go to your death bed saying, but I did it?

If you keep meandering through life without a vision and a plan, you are blind. You may see others achieving and get jealous about what they have. What it seems like they are doing somehow appears to be exactly what you want YET you refuse to create a plan for the vision so that you too can enjoy it.

We live in an abundant universe and there is a generous portion waiting for you when you begin to see. What's holding you back?

Heller Keller says, "there's nothing more pathetic than a person with sight but no vision." Einstein says "imagination is more important than fact." Proverbs says, "without vision, the people perish."

You will die if you don't begin to see.

Open your blinded eyes and for the first time this year, See. See who you are. See whose you are. See that you are bigger than your problems, See that you are a solution, see that anything is possible. See what is possible for you and then write it down. Check your vision by creating a written account of what you desire to bring into your experience.

Join us tonight at 6 pm EST for step by step coaching on your Check Up from the Heart Up. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/aimwd or 347.324.5086.

Copyright (c) 2010 Darnyelle A. Jervey: Speaker, Coach, Author

When I was little, I was often found in a place I had no business (no surprise, I'm sure) and an adult would always yell, "Darnyelle Antoinette you had better get somewhere and sit down!" Powerful words which are filled with lessons that we should apply to our lives today. I've notice in working with clients from around the country the location may be different but the story is the same: We don't spend enough time "getting somewhere and sitting down."

Have you ever meditated? Have you ever just STOPPED what you were doing and centered yourself?

Maybe you need to. It could change your life. It changed mine

I believe in the power to get quiet and truly tap into your spirit and begin to live and breathe from your heart because it offers an experience that is Incredible! It renews your focus on what truly is important. HINT: It's usually NOT what we think it is before we get somewhere and sit down!

In general, we are way too busy, way too focused on things that don't matter and we spend too much time sweating the small stuff. I invite you to find a quiet place, light a candle, turn on some soft, comforting music and repeat the following phrases:
I Love You. I'm Sorry. Please Forgive Me. Thank You.

I love You - you are talking to yourself. We spend way too much time being overly critical of every step we take and we never stop to celebrate our success and accomplishments. We want others to say these three words but if we don't say them to ourselves, how can we expect others to say them to us? From the self-love you express to yourself, you explore and unleash the power to change mindsets and live dreams.

I'm Sorry - again you are talking to yourself and you are apologizing for not being authentic, for focusing on things that don't matter, for not taking time to tap into your spirit and live from your heart.

Please forgive me - you are talking to the Creator, now that you have apologized to yourself, ask for His forgiveness so that you can be liberated to go forth, refreshed and renewed.

Thank You - in an extreme act of gratitude, you are talking again to the Creator and thanking Him for His sovereignty and for creating you. Abundance is all around us and as I was recently reminded we miss it because we need to be in control. Control is the arch nemesis of abundance, I encourage you to let go and watch the overflow come into your life.

Repeat over and over until a calm settles in your heart. After you've finshed the four phases and you feel a sense of release and a reneweing of your spirit, stay there long enough to enjoy the journey upon which you are about to embark now that you are free to fill your heart with all the abundance it can hold.

Be Incredible,
Coach Darnyelle

Darnyelle A. Jervey - Speaker, Coach, Author

I was talking with my mother the other day and she was a little distraught because she felt like she was being pulled in too many directions in the name of love. The coach in me immediately kicked in and I began to ask her direct, probing questions to get to the root of the concern she was feeling as well as to help her work through this occurence so that she could find release. She said, "I just want to help everybody, but it seems like no one wants to help me." I said, mom what do you mean? She said, "there seems to be no boundaries in this thing and I am the one who loses."

How many of you have felt the same way? I understand how you feel. I've been there, done that and gotten the t-shirt. But what I found was that by establishing my worth and what I would do as a result of my worth, I could set boundaries that ensure that interactions with loved ones became a win/win situation.

"But you don't understand, Coach Darnyelle," I can hear you say. But I do understand and that is why I'm writing this blog today.

My mom pricked my spirit because she is one of the most loving women I know. She'd give you the shirt off her back if it would make you smile or feel secure. Most of us women are the same way. I know sometimes we get a bad rep over being too strong, but it is the strength in you that makes it possible for all who come into your space to feel the love that knows no limits. Yet, here I am suggesting that you set some.

For your sanity.

Stop. Drop. Love. It's that simple.

Stop - when you feel taxed and out of control and you feel compelled to say yes because your yes will ensure it gets done effectively. STOP. Take a moment or two or three and reflect on what adding another thing to your plate will do to your plate. Where is your "me" time? How will you get your "Me" time if you consistently do for others before yourself. Now, let me clear, I believe in serving others but I also believe in everything in proper order and perspective.

Drop - drop the rules of engagement for the task being brought to you. Remember, no one can make you feel anxious or out of balance without your consent. Drop the act that you are okay that they are asking you to do something that someone else could do. You may be manipulated to think it can't be done if you don't do it. Don't buy into that, if it is as essential as they claim, someone will rise up to do it.

Love - even when you say "no" or in everything that you do, do it in love. When you live from your heart, it will always be your desire to offer love, kind, life affirming words and challenges into the lives of others. Just because you are saying "no, not this time," doesn't mean that you can't do it in love and maintain the relationship if that is your desire. Most of us take on more tasks in fear - fear that we will somehow lose the relationship or position if we don't act. One question....do you really want it if that's a possibility?

Darnyelle A. Jervey, Speaker, Coach, Author

As I began to write this blog and selected the title, the song that immediately popped into my head was Beyonce's "Irreplaceable." In a part of the song, she says "you've got me twisted." Another song I thought of immediately after that was Keith Sweat and Cut Klose's song titled, "Got Me Twisted."

Why does any of that matter. Well today, I want to share tips for those of you who are twisted in some way about who you are, who you are to become and what you were created to do.

When I say twisted, what do I mean? Confused. Bamboozled. Unworthy. Fearful. Unfulfilled. Sad. Existing instead of living. Surviving instead of thriving.

I was at a networking event a few weeks back and I was talking to a gentleman and telling him what I do. He was very intrigued and he asked if I have a lot of clients who are willing to admit that they are twisted or confused on their purpose. I told him yes, I do meet a lot of women who require skills, strategies and solutions to untwist their purpose to give their life meaning.

That really stuck out to me. Many women don't admit their hurt and pain, they suffer in silence because they feel that "nobody knows the trouble I've seen." Another song, guess I'm feeling the music today. The key here - I can stop and dance because I am clear.

What stands out to me more than anything is that so many women as so busy surviving each day and taking care of everyone else, going to work to put food on the table, crying themselves to sleep because they are completely unfulfilled and nobody cares about their needs that they are consistently twisting themselves into knots that are not being untangled so that they can be released to enjoy life.

John 10:10 says that God sent His son that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Please tell me which definition of abundance calls for twisting and entanglements. If I am speaking to your spirit right now, STOP.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Stop. Take a deep breath of integrity and be honest with yourself, you are twisted, conflicted and confused about many things most of which is your purpose. But there's hope. It can change as soon as you let it.

1. Get to a quiet place and repeat these words until you feel a calm and peace overtake you: I'm sorry, please forgive. I Love you. Thank You. You are not only saying these words to yourself, but you are also saying them to the creator of your soul for mismanaging the gift He gave you.

2. Answer this question: Why am I twisted? Unfulfilled? Suffering in silence? - be honest with yourself.

3. Make a Decision to get untwisted. Hire a coach, set up an action plan and get to work. As soon as you make a non-negotiable deision the untwisting begins.

4. Celebrate yourself each day, big or small, celebrate. It's the little things that add up to the unassailable difference.

5. Never look back. Most of our twisting occurs because we focus on the past. As I say, "Stop giving your past permission to speak." If you are in a place that you don't want to be, acting in haste may not resolve it. Build a bridge, make an exit strategy and get to your destiny place.

It may not be easy but I guarantee it will be worth it.

So don't get it twisted, get clear and focus on you. Even on an airplane the flight attendant tells you to secure your mask before helping those traveling with you.

Repreat after me:
I am beautiful. I am God's creation. I was created for a purpose. I was created for abundance. I'm worthy of love, respect and "me" time. I deserve to be fulfilled. I am Incredible. I desire to be clear about who I am and how to live a fulfilled life and I am ready to get what I need to make it a reality and not just words that sound good.

Be Incredible,
Coach Darnyelle

Darnyelle is a speaker, life coach and author committed to helping women who struggle with balancing their PACE develop the skills, strategies and solutions to define and unleash the Incredible within. This occurs when we wake up and confront the issues and obstacles plaguing us from enjoying our lives. I was in a corporate job that I no longer had a desire to do. I was unhappy, overweight. I was in turmoil. But I did something unconsciously. If I had of thought about it, I wouldn't have done it because doing it would have removed the excuses that I had been using as to why I was where I was - sound familiar?

How many of you use excuses as an escape mechanism from facing the issues of your heart? It's just easier to pretend as if they don't exist...

I attended a life changing conference. I mean everything changed. It was cataclysmic, it was as if every single speaker was there for one reason - to facilitate my breakthrough. You see, I had been broken down. I was lonely, I hated my job, I felt like no one cared about me. Truthfully, it was all in my head. Just like it is in yours if you have had these feelings. As a dear friend says, when are you going to get out of your head and into your heart?!

I want you to know that a breakdown can and will become a breakthrough when you make a non-negotiable decision that enough is enough and decide to do something differently.

Non-negotiable.

For me, the first step was attending the conference. How many of you know that if you want to change your situation, you have to change your position. That's right MOVE. Do something different, something you've never done. While I was there, I was forced with looking at myself in the mirror - the proccess I now use with each client that I coach, which I have aptly called "Inspect the Incredible." Sadly, what looked back at me was not cute in the least but what's more, it wasn't authentic. So busy trying to be everything to everybody, I lost myself and I realized that I was not living an authentic life. I was not living from my heart.

Once you know better, you are expected to do better, so I immediately began to make clear and calculated changes to my life. Oddly enough the first step was realizing that I was born Darnyelle for a reason and on purpose. I had to stop trying to be like everyone else so that I could fit in. That revelation - Life Changing. And that revelation led to another and another and another and finally to the commitment to help other women get to the same place where I now reside - Peace, Joy and True, Authentic happiness right now. Not later when my change, or the man or the money comes but NOW.

As a result of that conference I began to seek assistance in changing my life. I found a life coach. I made a commitment to becoming the best me. 5 years later, I am living from my heart and teaching others to do the same. It was a challenging process and yet it has been worth it. And no, it didn't take me 5 years to do it! The bible says 'Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." I operate fully from a space of love, personal power and conviction to greet each day ready to make a difference in the lives of others.

Now that I've told you my business (smile), I have a question for you: Where do you live? Are you suffering or struggling with lack, low self-esteem, worry, turmoil, strife or worse? When was the last time you smelled the aroma of your heart - your attitude? If you've smelled it, and a pleasant fragrance hasn't greeted your nostrils, are you yet ready to make a change?

If nothing changes, nothing changes. But your address will change when you commit to yourself, do the work necessary to get a new address and live from your heart.

In my own words....

I am a professional speaker, certified life coach, award-winning author and consultant. I work exclusively with women who struggle with identifying their PACE - Purposeful Passion, Attitude of Abundance, Consistent Confidence and Enthusiastic Expectation. My clients desire to experience significant personal & professional growth by eliminating excuses, facilitating change and overcoming adversity in their life and business. I mean I tore my home apart looking for those keys. I kept retracing my steps and trying to remember where I'd seen them last but I just couldn't find them. Late for a meeting, I finally conceded and grabbed my spare set to get out the door. As I drove to the meeting, my mind was preoccupied with my missing keys. I could barely focus on the drive and relaxing myself before the meeting because I was so wound up over those missing keys. Even once the meeting was over, immediately, my mind raced back to my missing keys and where I would look when I finally got back home. Needless to say, I did not find my keys that day or the next. It wasn't until I changed my focus and stopped operating from a place of confusion, frustration and lack that they appeared out of no where. Ever happened to you?

Why does that happen????!!!!

I believe it's because what ever you focus upon gets bigger - lack of money, relationship, health, in my case missing keys, etc - they all tend to stand out a little more when we focus on those things. For those who constantly say, "I'm broke," or "I can't find a good man," or better still my favorite 'I can't seem to get any peace," let me enlighten you: until your focus (mindset) switches from what you don't have or can't find, you will not welcome it into your experience. If we instead begin to focus on what we do have and take a stance of gratitude for what we currently have in our lives, we allow ourselves to open to the possiblity of welcoming into our lives what we really want.

It may sound crazy but it's true. Take relationships as an example, everyone knows that when you stop looking for Mr. Right or Ms. Perfect, they appear out of thin air...is it coincidence, NO!

Do you have a desire for living a life filled with passion, abundance, confidence and expectation...but somehow you can't find what it would take to make it a reality? It is my desire to unveil proven techniques to experience a life filled with each of these and more in my upcoming TeleSeminar Find Your PACE.

Sometimes you just have to change your vantage point to see that what you wanted and needed was there all the time.

For more information about the upcoming TeleSeminar, Find Your PACE, please visit http://www.incredibleoneenterprises.com/find_your_pace

Darnyelle A. Darnyelle A. Jervey

Vision is so important, it is so important in fact that the Bible in Proverbs says "without vision, the people will perish." When empowering people I talk a lot about walking based on what you believe and not what you see...I know this sounds contradictory based on the thought of "vision", but vision is an encapsulation of an intensely held belief transformed into a picture that tells the story of what one is expecting in their life. (Darnyelle's definition)

As I begin each day, it is the vision (what I believe) that solidifies in my heart the work I must do the manifest my dreams.

So let me encourage you this Walk it Out Wednesday to begin to see the vision you have for your life. 20 days into a new year and a new decade, this is the time to transform your life and move from mediocre to magnificent. With a few strategic steps, you can begin to encounter unexplained favor in your life, like that I've encountered since I started my company in 2007.

When you look over the goals you set for yourself this year...do you see what I see?
When you look at yourself in the mirror...do you see what I see?
When you are daydreaming at work...do you see what I see?

Here's what I see:
~Men and women who can do anything to which they put their mind.
~People using their favor and influence on behalf of YOUR vision.
~Words and actions of power that match the vision that you have for your life.
~People are ready to make significant change and experience a quantum leap in their life in business.
~People in full expectation that the vision in their heart will manifest with hard work, honesty and integrity.

If for some reason you do not see what I see, here's a few tips that may help you:
1. Get clear - clarity for the vision that you have will only come when you get in touch with your spirit in a quiet place without distractions and begin to visualize what it is you really want for your life.
2. FOCUS - there are a lot of distractions and people (the peanut gallery) that wants to interject their thoughts into your vision. Put on blinders and look not to the left or right but FOCUS on YOUR vision.
3. Write it down - a vision in your head is not nearly as powerful as a vision on paper. We know that what gets attended to gets done....writing it down shows a commitment to the vision and that helps to solidify the non-negotiable decision to work everyday in honor of the fulfilment of the vision.

When you see what I see, you will see yourself achieving your goals and manifesting your vision. Let's get eye to eye and connect.

Be Incredible,
Darnyelle

Darnyelle A. Many have given up and referred back to their old ways. Sure, some of you reading this are saying, "how can that be, it's only been 13 days?" But when you feel like everything around you is coming crashing down as a result of one word or act of discouragement, everything can change in an instant.

My purpose this morning is to edify you. I want to help you to see that you are closer than you think. I happen to subscribe to the belief that it is when you are close to the victory that all hell breaks loose. I believe that when you find yourself dangling between the good times and the bad times, you are on the verge of unleashing the Incredible into your life.

Mary Kay Ashe says, "You can never give up because you never know what meets you when you turn the next corner." And I agree with Mary Kay. I can recall a time in my life when I felt as if the air had been let out of my proverbial tires. I was at my wits end and I was ready to curl up and die. With the help of my mentor and coach, I centered myself, got to a quiet place and I began to remember why I was in the race in the first place. Disappointments and failures are a part of the process. Just ask anyone who has ever achieved anything, but they have tenacity and they didn't give up so that they could achieve their goal and heart's desire.

Oftentimes when it gets noisy, we can't hear our spirits talking to us and we fail to change our position to be able to hear again. If I am speaking to you today, change your position so that you can get clear. Remember, it is not over until you have the victory and you are closer than you think.

Darnyelle A. Many of you have created massive lists of thought out ideas and plans on how 2010 will be your best year ever, yet you have not equipped yourself to achieve your goals because nothing has changed. Overall, your mindset is the same....Oliver Wendell Holmes said it best: "Once a mind has been expanded it should not return to the same place." Yet, if you have not done the work necessary to shift your mindset, nothing will change in the new year.

I did some research and I learned that approximately 45% of people set New Year's Resolutions and of those people, after 6 months approximately 12% are still holding fast and walking into their resolution. I asked myself why and I answered (scary I know - smile) "It's because people do things for show and fad but they do not prepare themselves for the reality of what they want to accomplish in their lives. It sounds cute, it sounds impressive or even having the best laid intentions without a mindset shift or adjustment is just words on a sheet of paper."

It is my desire that something changes in you. I want more than anything in this world for you to realize the Incredible within you. It is my desire that you resolve to be Incredible and I have a few tips that can help you to make a change so that everything changes.

DARNYELLE’S TIPS:
1. BE HONEST, REALISTIC AND AUTHENTIC
2. ENROLL GOD IN YOUR GOAL
3. MAKE A NON NEGOTIABLE DECISION AND COMMIT TO THE GOAL
4. DISCOVER THE REASON FOR THE NEEDED CHANGE – WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND WHY….IT’S EASIER TO KEEP
5. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE
6. DEVELOP A SENSE OF URGENCY
7. SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM A COACH
8. START A MASTERMIND GROUP, GET ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS
9. ESTABLISH A PLAN – WHAT GETS ATTENDED TO GETS DONE
10. FOCUS ON THE FOLLOW THROUGH

Remember if nothing changes, nothing changes….ask yourself
1. why are you making this resolution
2. what will I change to see this resolution come full circle
3. who will I enlist to help me remain accountable to my resolution
4. if there are no consequences for making this change, why make it?
5. what is my inspiration for this resolution now?

Have you had your FREE coaching consultation yet? Darnyelle A. Jervey

As I begin this Walk it Out Wednesday's blog, I have one question for you: How bad do you want it? You've been talking about doing it for quite some time. It's been on your goal sheet, vision board, you've shared it with your co workers, yet it is still undone. So I ask again, how bad do you want it?

I meet people everyday who have a dream or desire that they want to come into fruition (so they say,) but if nothing changes, nothing changes. They want it but they haven't begun to work at it or they start it but then get stuck....If you want something bad enough, you will move heaven and earth to get it, won't you?

I was at the top of the MK game but I wanted more. I had just finished my 2nd Pink Cadillac, a time when I should have felt fulfilled and ready to conquer the world, but I was empty. I had given all I had to complete that goal because someone else wanted it for me. How many goals have you completed because of someone else? Immediately following that, I spent some time "Inspecting the Incredible" and during that introspective process, I realized that I had a dream that wasn't being exercised because I was living someone else's dream. Don't get me wrong, I love Mary Kay Ash and her Incredible legacy which gave me the tools and belief enough to dream so big that in and of my own strength it might not be possible. In fact, it was because of Mary Kay that I looked inward and realized that Darnyelle's dream was not much different than Mary Kay's had been, but the manifestation of Darnyelle's dream was significant and it required significant action to make it happen.

You see, from day one of creating my company Incredible One Enterprises, I was clear. I wanted it bad and I was willing to do the work to make it a reality. From reading daily, studying quotes, writing books, practicing my skills, becoming a certified life coach, writing a business plan, building relationships, writing curriculums, I was clear. I wanted it bad. I had spent a lot of my life working to build someone else's dreams and for once, I was going to build my own.

That was the end of 2007. Just two short years later, I am pleased about the places my vision have taken me but I am clear that this party has just gotten started. because I want it bad, my work is speaking louder than the words that I speak. I've had a stellar year and I know that I haven't even begun to shine like the star I was born to be....and I want to help you do the same. I had perfected some strategies that have taken my clients to their next level within the first 3 months of working with me as their coach. I have watched audiences transformed right before my eyes because of the tools and tips I impart to define and unleash the Incredible within...

How bad do you want it? If you answered "bad, real bad." I stopped and let those words sink into my spirit and suddenly it made sense. We are more concerned with the latest and greatest and what this performer, actor, actress, etc is doing with that one than we are for our own ability to achieve our goals in life.

I was saddened as I continued to consider the possibility of the truth of that statement. As the CEO of an empowerment firm, of course this notion goes against everything that I do, everything that I believe but there is validity in the statement; people put more on them, than they put in them. It's a fact. I don't even know if we realize it. Say I (or any other motivational speaker) was having an empowerment event on the same night that your girlfriends were in from out of town and wanted to hit the club. Maybe you had intended to come to my event, but because they felt that there money would be better spent if they were "dropping it like it's hot," you relent and go with them to the club. There's not much fulfilment in making that choice, but countless make it every week. And more over, they don't even care....

What does it matter if you have the latest and greatest clothes if you haven't achieved a goal you set for yourself in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or more?

I am in prayer that people will start to put more in them by:
1. Spending 15 minutes a day reading something empowerment in nature. Do you realize that if you read just 15 minutes a day, over 2 years, you will have the ability to increase your income substantially based on what you have been reading? 15 minutes a day equates to a minimum of 26 books a year.
2. Instead of listening to the radio when in the car, listening to a CD that will add value to their life - a previous sermon from your pastor, a motivational speaker's cd or a book on cd, which can be rented from the library.
3. Reappropriating their entertainment budget so that some of the budget can be used to solidify goal achievement and invest in themselves instead of material possessions.

This holiday season buy your children a book in addition to the video game; spending time reading together instead of watching television, focus on giving them something that can add value to their life instead of just entertaining them...they will thank you in the long run.

Be Incredible,
Darnyelle
Darnyelle A. I mean people are bound everyday of their lives because they are not honest and open to change yet on one day, magically, they celebrate the things for which they are grateful....I believe that everyday that I open my eyes is Thanksgiving; I do not wait until the 4th Thursday of November to express my gratitude to God, friends, customer, clients, etc. I share as it happens, live and in full effect. If you have been following me, you also know that I spend a minimum of 5 minutes before my feet hit the floor each morning in gratitude....grateful for everything...big, little, small, seemingly insignificant...grateful for it all.

While conducting a group coaching session recently, I posed the question above to my clients and I was impressed and grateful for their authenticity. They honestly shared what in their lives they are not grateful for....my follow up question was, what are you going to do to change that? I ask the same follow up question to you...

As always, I have a few points that can change the Seed of ungratefulness in Your life to a fruit ripe for the harvest....

1. See the ungrateful - Deliverance or the uprooting of bad seed starts first when you see it. My favorite book makes it clear that without vision, the people will perish. If you cannot see what you do not like about your existence, you cannot alter it in anyway. Life is far too short to be living in a space of ungratefulness but so many people wear blinders from the truth and just meander in mediocrity day after day...

2. Take Responsiblity for the ungrateful - again I say you can't conquer what you are unwilling to confront. And by confronting, I mean taking ownership of your mess...there will never be change if we act as if we are perfect and our lives don't stink....

3. Make a decision to change the ungrateful - make a non-negotiable decision that whatever it is in your life right now that you do not feel grateful for, chnage it, get rid of it, dig up the foul ground....Be honest with who you are and decide that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired of THIS THING constantly rearing its ugly head on your life....Change happens as soon as you decide to change

4. Do something about the ungrateful. Don't just make the decision that it has to go, put it out! Take ACTION! Take authority over that thing and put it in the box to the left (as Beyonce' sings about in her song, Irreplaceable) Then of course you know what I'm going to tell you to do....BURN the BOX!!!!!

There are many things for which you can and should be grateful, in fact, you should be grateful for every experience, lesson, person, place or thing that comes into your life. Good, bad or indifferent there is a reason for it, get the lesson and move on in gratitude. Having an attitude of gratitude at all times makes you the cup and then you can control the overflow and make sure that you always have more than enough so that you can give freely unto others....

Be honest with yourself...What are you ungrateful for? Get the help of a Life Coach to dig up the foul ground, plant new seed and water that seed while they help you to wait on your harvest....

At Incredible One Enterprises, it is our goal to define and unleash the Incredible in you. Jervey

Having just celebrated my 34th birthday on Monday and completing the "Inspect the Incredible" process on my last year and setting new goals and strategic plans for the next year, I began to realize that it has been as a result of the power of intention that I have achieved significant success over the past year. I am sure that I have shared previously that on my 33rd birthday, I declared that I was coming out of doubt, despair and anything holding my destiny captive and instead I was going to focus on taking calculated steps to achieve my dreams. You see, I became clear...clarity is key if you want to do the Incredible in your life. I've done everything I said I would this year and I am setting my sights on even more greatness in the year to come. Why not? Anything is possible through the Power of Intention!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being a speaker at the Women's Expo in Newark, DE and as I met people and stood at my table throughout the day, I was clear...my purpose for being at the expo was to empower the lives of women while also increasing my exposure and presence within my immediate marketplace. But, it wasn't about Darnyelle...it was about all the lives of the women I could influence through the power of intention....I can hear your brains churning...you see, when you DECIDE to do anything with clarity, you can have it if you are willing to follow it through with the words and actions that make all the difference.

Nothing happens until somebody thinks something: that thought becomes your words and/or actions and those actions become the habits that you create which define your character and ultimately affects your destiny. The Power of Intention says that you have decided on the path that must be taken and the object of your desire and you become positively fixated on it and through your thoughts, words and actions, you will it to be. Don't believe that it works, here's an example of it from yesterday's events.

I invited a friend, mentee and colleague to attend the event with me. I knew that it would be a great opportunity for her to connect with people in the area and share her business and make new contacts, but I also wanted her to see me at work so that as her business grows, she is ready to make it happen. Unbeknownst to her, the theme of yesterday's event centered around Shoes... The Steps to Success and the keynote speaker was Ruthie Davis...shoe designer to the Stars...at lunch Ruthie shared a lot of powerful intention with us as she told us her calculated story of her journey to defining and unleashing the Incredible in her life. The coupe de gras? Ruthie was giving away a $950 pair of her shoes from her Fall 08 line, her best seller, the Bolt.

Anyway, my colleague, upon hearing this became clear on one thing: she was winning those shoes. From the moment that she was made aware of the drawing, she spoke intently with power, passion, clarity and desire to have those shoes. She began to visualize herself wearing those shoes and the clothes she would buy to compliment her shoes (but let's be clear - the shoes are HOT!!! and can truly stand alone!). She began to speak in positive present tense acting as if she had already won the shoes...Are you getting this?

The way that the Power of Intention works is based on your clarity and your ability to operate from a place that says "I already am/have what I want." Every time someone in her presence spoke about the shoes, she politely told them that the shoes were hers. Needless to say, I'm sure because you are understanding the Power of Intention at this point, I hope. When the shoes were given away at just after 6 pm on last evening and Ruthie Davis held the winning card in her hand and proclaimed "Girl Power" Ruthie herself even paused when she read the name of my colleague's company....Power in Progress and when her name was called, she hopped up on the stage and simply pointed back in my direction to illustrate how suuccintly her ability to hone in on what she wanted to experience became a definite reality.

It's a simple example, I know but if it can work for her and a pair of $950 shoes, what can the Power of Intention do for you?

The answer, it can do anything that you want it to.

1. Think intently about that which you want, 2. visualize yourself as if it is already yours, 3. speak with power, authority and clarity confirming your desire and 4. watch the universe line up to give you want you want as you unleash Incredible power to get what you want from your life. We live in an abundant universe and you should demand your portion of that abundance NOW! No matter what it is that you desire. If you can see it , you can have it when you unleash the Power of Intention in your life.

For more information about the Power of Intention, I invite you to register for my teleseminar 'Unleash the Incredible' in December. Save $150 when you register by November 21, 2009 @ 11:59 pm. Full Details are available by visiting my website http://www.incredibleoneenterprises.com.

Darnyelle A. A desire to be determined to do something great, if you will, to do the things that we believe that we cannot do.

We have seen commercial after commercial where an athlete has accomplished an amazing fete because of the shoes they are wearing....and that got me to thinking. How Incredible would it be if we all pretended we were wearing Nike's each day and began to accomplish our goals with the same fevor as the athlete in the commercial? What if we stopped allowing fear to speak for us and instead choose for freedom to speak? What if we became so elated by the possibility of doing what we set out to do without fear that we just did it?

Just do it.

Many of us have what we would consider viable reasons as to why we must muddle in mediocrity....our family, we don't have enough time, we don't make enough money, nobody in our family has ever done that....STOP...."Excuses are the tools of the incompetent built upon monuments of nothingness and those who specialize in these will seldom amount to any more" (Unknown) ....if you pledged in college, you are familiar with these words, yet so many of us specialize in excuses day in and day out.

Again I ask what would happen if you got out of your own way, burned the box and did it?

Here are 5 ways that you can just do it

1. Believe in yourself

2. Make a non-negotiable decision

3. Study to show yourself approved

4. Speak only words that lead to positive, forward action

5. Take the first step...Martin Luther King, Jr says a variation of faith is taking the first step without seeing the staircase....if you follow the other 4 steps and believe in yourself (recognize that what others think of you is none of your business), make a non-negotiable decision (become fully convinced in your own mind that it can and must be done), study, by reading books and listening to audios in your car instead of the radio and speak what you seek in your life with power, passion and authority...you will be the victor and can proudly rock the Nike's of your choice because you will have done it!

Darnyelle A. I love this scripture because it liberates me to recognize that I am who I say I am. I love that song by Lupe Fiasco "You are who you say you are, a superstar, have no fear."

I find it strategically interesting that he would use the words 'have no fear' in reference to who we say we are....Did you know that 365 times in the Bible God says "Fear not?" So what are you afraid of? Why do we allow people, places and things to define who we are rather than being who WE say we are?

When you stop living behind the shadow of fear of becoming who you want to be and long to be, everything will change. Trust me I know...I spent many years of my life as a people pleaser. One day, I woke up and I realized that I don't need validation from man and just like that, my attitude shifted and I began to focus on inspecting the Incredible so that I could become who I say I am, in authenticity.

I invite you to do the same this Walk it out Wednesday....Decide NOW to be who you said you will be....and Walk it Out, Incredible One...have no FEAR

Be Incredible,
Darnyelle

Darnyelle A. And I am excited to say, that this has been a Banner year; in fact, I am living my dream and experiencing all kinds of expectation and manifestation each day. What will happen for me today...Something Incredible because I have already taken the time to create it!!!

Now, without telling ALL of my business let me encourage you that 2008 was probably my worst year ever...everything that could go wrong did but you know why? Because I CHOSE to let it. That's right, we get to choose how life goes down. We can choose to be a victim of our circumstances or we can declare ourselves a Victor and walk into the greatness that we were born into. It may not be wasy; but it will certainly be worth it. Just one year later, look at me. Change happens as quickly as you LET it. That's right...get out of your own way.

Trust me, this is not just theory. I am speaking cold, hard truth and facts. I can clearly back up every claim I am making. In fact, anyone who lives from a place of abundance can corroborate my statement.

From what place are you living?

When you wake up, what do you tell yourself? What do you profess and visualize happening to you? So on this Take Action Tuesday, I ask you the same question:
Have You Ever Wanted Something So Bad that You Can't Sleep At Night?

I am sure that you have, so I have a follow up question:

What Are You Willing To Do To Get It?

I have said many times that in order to have something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done. I mean, come on, what is the point of dreaming if you don't really want the dreams to come true? Exactly. It takes a non-negotiable decision and a made up mind that the dream will become a reality. And then it TAKES ACTION. Ideas like and need speed so we can not dilly dally and procrastinate on our dreams. But so many of us do. You had a dream that began 5 years ago to write your book, and here you still only have the Table of Contents....what happened? You failed to launch because you have not learned how to make your dreams come true. A dream without a plan is nothing more than one of the 60,000 thoughts that you have each day that runs amiss. It's true that 90% of those 60,000 thoughts are the same old thing because many of us muddle in mediocrity and have no clue how to get out.

I FIGURED it out....

I use to want things so bad that I couldn't sleep at night but now that I know the steps to take to get what I want, I can sleep soundly through the night and operate in INTENTION to make it happen. I take deliberate ACTION on purpose, with purpose, promise and authority to live my dreams. Come on, is there any other way to live? Am I saying that I don't have challenges, no; challenges are a part of life. Those who have no challenges are in eternal rest. But I CHOOSE to see each challenge as an opportunity to LEARN to enhance my experience. Did you catch that I CHOOSE (that is taking ACTION)

Have you ever wanted to do the same?

Darnyelle A. I mean, really think about that.

Okay, maybe three questions - smile:
If you were capable of designing your life based on your vision, what would it mean to you? What would it look like? Would it be worth getting out of your own way and deciding to be all that you know deep down that you can?

Many of us are downtrodden by life because of FEAR and the opinions of others. But I subscribed to you that what others think of you should not be of your concern. Unfortunately, because our own self-image has been distorted by others for so long, we struggle to get out of that box....But you know what I say....BURN THE BOX by learning how to Inspect and Attract the Incredible in your life.

I have an assignment for you....

Spend some time uncovering your authentic self by getting to a quiet place this weekend and ask yourself just two questions:
What do I want in my life?
Am I prepared to work on myself to get it?

Remember, everything you want in life is hidden behind everything you are not willing to do to get it.
Change your mindset, change your life.

Be Incredible,
Darnyelle

If you want something you;ve never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done.

Darnyelle is available to navigate you to success as your personal development GPS. I remember that game back in 92 when he hit that three pointer at the buzzer, taking the last shot to win yet another victory. It was Incredible, my heart almost stopped as I watched in delighted anticipation. I can remember Michael turning toward the sideline and pointing his fingers at his coach, Phil Jackson.

Everyone who has accomplished something great has someone on the sidelines offering the strategic tips and plays that are going to make the difference as they play the game. Phil Jackson was Michael's. Who's yours?

Coaching and personal development is a fast growing industry. Today, it equates for approximately 3 billion dollars with estimated growth of 18% each year. That's huge. That means that more and more people are realizing the need to have someone help them to achieve their dreams. I personally believe that we can only get so far on our own and then we need someone else to come in and help us to win the game.

Again, I ask who is your Phil Jackson?

I have been a life coach since 2003 offering my clients success, tangible tips and strategic techniques to help them to see the Incredible and do the impossible in their lives simply by holding them accountable and guiding them through the correct approach or thought process for goal achievement. It has been extremely fulfilling watching the tiny little rose buds blossom into the most gorgeous roses that are fragrant and full of life.

Who is your Phil Jackson?

If you haven't found the answer to that question yet, may I suggest that you check out a great company who believes that "every woman deserves a coach?" Compass is a personal development direct selling company that sells affordable group coaching solutions to today's woman. Imagine a compass...the center is the spirit, north = self & life balance, east = money and career, south = relationships and west = health and wellness. The CEO Kim Fulcher is a woman of excellence who believes in you so much that she created an entire company and affordable coaching structure to assist you with your personal development in the 5 areas I mentioned above.

And in case you are wondering, yes, I am affiliated with this amazing company offering affordable group coaching as an addition to my empowerment firm, Incredible One Enterprises and my coaching program is aptly called the "Burn the Box" Coaching program because it is my goal to help you to define and unleash the Incredible in you by burning the box of limitations, excuses and fear in your life.

If you haven't figured out the answer to the question this blog is posing, with the help of Compass, I can become your Phil Jackson. The manifestation of your destiny is predicated on your level faith, expectation and your ability to be persistent." Darnyelle A. Jervey

According to the dictionary, manifestation means outward or perceptible indication; materialization. Let that sink in for just a second. What you perceive to occur in your life will materialize...sounds to me that your thoughts will become the things you have (and perhaps enjoy) in your life. That can be good, if you think on good things. That will be bad if you can't get past the past and other hindrances to your destiny. No matter whether you like it or even agree with it, what you think about will manifest into your reality. So how, pray tell, do you flip the script and make this work for your good? I am so excited that you've asked.

1. Take a positive mental picture of what you want in your life. No matter how obtruse it may seem, capture the picture of what you want. Make sure the picture is in full color and captured down to the last detail. The color of the car, the exact amount of money you want in your checking account, the grade you want on the test, the career you want to have.

2. Begin to think with positive energy and excitement about the picture you just took in your mind.

3. Speak only words that corroborate the picture in your mind. Because after the thought has been spoken, it will manifest. Remember, that occurs good, bad or indifferent. It is the way it works. So if you want it to work in your favor, you cannot make casual covenants and comments just because you feel like it. When your words do not line up with the positive mental picture you've taken, you are double minded and therefore unstable and you will get what you say and not what you see.

Some people believe that manifestation is tricky...it isn't, manifestation is the truth; it is predicated by your level of faith and belief that what you see will become what you have and experience. Don't believe me? Think about the last car you purchased. Before you got that car and took the mental picture in your mind that you would own that car, you never came face to face with it. But as soon as you drove it off the lot, you see your car everywhere. Just when you thought you were stepping out of the mold, you realize that once again you and EVERYBODY else wanted the same car you pictured. Now, you know I'm telling the truth!

4. Reinforce the picture in your mind by writing the details of the picture in your manifestation book. This is a spiral notebook that only holds the things you want to receive in your life. It becomes a place where you can write the words that match the mental pictures that you take every day. (It also becomes the words to speak to reinforce the picture you took in your mind) Because it is true that what gets attended to gets done, by writing the details of your pictures in your manifestation book, you will begin to help these things materialize in your life.

For more information about manifestation and how learning how to be intentional when it comes to what you want, contact me by visiting my website and completing a FREE 30-minute consultation request so that we can schedule time to help you truly manifest your destiny.

Darnyelle A. Erma Bombeck.

What a profound statement. As I sit at my computer on the Friday before Labor Day, I think about the amount of labor one must do to be able to make this statement at the end of their life and I get excited. I am so sold out on the need of empowerment in the lives of others that it is my sincere desire that I use up everything that God gave me empowering people to realize that the Incredible is tucked on the inside, and they need only make the non-negotiable decision to unleash it!!!

Labor day is a celebration of the countless lives who gave their life in work for us to be the nation we are today. Because they worked hard, we get a day off. What will you do so that someone else may enjoy rest because you came before them and labored.

My favorite book says the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few.

Not everyone wants to work hard but everyone wants the benefits of hard work - success, a nice house, a healthy bank account, but people life is about so much more than material gain. Don't get me wrong, I know that money gives us choices and that is what we deserve to have - choices but don't get so caught up in the monetary gain of your hard work that you miss the gift you will leave to someone else so that they may rest. My favorite book also says that we should leave an inheritance for our children's children. In order to do so, we must labor with them in mind. It's not about you or I, it is about those who will be blessed because of our legacy.

I learned a long time ago that we each have a choice: we can pay now and play later or we can play now and pay later but make no mistake either way, we must pay in work. I get excited about the opportunity to do work that is meaningful and helping someone else realize their Incredibleness...it is my hope and desire for you that you will too.

Be Incredible,
Enjoy your day of rest!

Darnyelle A. I made a decision that this will be a September to Remember. I think sometimes we forget who we are and what we are capable of. For a few days, I had not done my morning visualization exercises and just that quickly, I lost sight of my goals. We must remember that our mind is a muscle and much like we work out to train the muscles in our body, we must train our minds to focus on the goals that we want to achieve CONSISTENTLY...So I am back.

No more mental candy (tv, radio) and more mental protein (books, Cds with a message, etc) I am determined to achieve my goals and I invite you to as well. Last month, I joined a company called Compass, it is a personal development organization that believes that every woman deserves to have a coach. I immediately became excited about this company and how I could use it as a platform to build my own coaching practice. You see, to coach with me one-on-one does not fit into everyone's budget. But through Compass, I am now able to offer affordable group coaching solutions to help women who want to take the first step toward taking back their life and discovering the compass that guides them in the areas of spirit, money and career, life balance, relationships and health and wellness and I am very excited!!

It is going to be a month to remember. I am enthusiastically expecting it.

Check out my site:
Darnyelle A. Today's all about your attitude. You've heard it said and probably have even said it yourself. Do everything right with the wrong attitude and fall on your face. Do everything wrong with the right attitude and living Incredibly - okay, maybe you've never heard it quite that way - smile. One trueism indeed is that attitude is everything and how you respond to what happens around you shadows your realm of experience. 95% of everything is your attitude and 5% is skill; get excited because if you have the right mindset - one set on abundance, which by the way is not material in the least, all things will work together for your good.

As you walk it out today, allow these tips about an attitude of abundance to color your experience:
1. Make a non-negotiable decision that you will be positive and only focus on positive experiences.
2. Focus on looking at the best in every situation and person with who you come into contact.
3. Attract people who also have a positive attitude because you become like those you hang around.
4. If you don't have anything nice to say, remain quiet!
5. Focus on the things that you are grateful for instead of the things you wish you could change, especially if you cannot control them.
6. That's why I created the PACE Method." Darnyelle A. Jervey

Jesus Christ. J.K. Rowling. Oprah Winfrey. President Obama. Mary Kay Ash. Harriet Tubman. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Maya Angelou. Darnyelle A. Jervey.

Each of these people, if you look closely at their legacy, have four common threads running through them. It's no secret that those who succeed develop an inate ability to focus on living a life that exudes passion, abundance, confidence and expectation. The definitions are simple enough but it is the tenacity at which each is applied that creates the success. Let me define them for you:

Passion - a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything

Abundance- an extremely plentiful or over sufficient quantity or supply, overflowing fullness; affluence, wealth

Confidence - belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance

Expectation - an expectant mental attitude; a prospect of future good or profit.

Jesus Christ. J.K. Rowling. Oprah Winfrey. President Obama. Mary Kay Ash. Harriet Tubman. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Maya Angelou. Darnyelle A. Jervey.

Look at the names again, see what I mean?

When you line up your Passion, Abundance, Confidence and Expectation, you will meet the Incredible You and enjoy unsurmounted success.
