It's been a long time coming but the second album is really happening! Today the final edit of the Celebrity du Jour video is being mastered and the J. Chris Griffin mix is sounding incredibly sexy.

I feel I need to let you in on the creative process I went through to get to this point. Last year I spent a considerable amount of time and energy writing a set of songs that I thought would end up being the second album. When they were finished I didn't feel the style and direction was really true to where I wanted to be. I was experimenting with a more acoustic sound but it didn't feel true to what made me want to be in the music business to begin with - hooky electronic pop music with a splash of acoustic instruments. That's not to say that in the future I may experiment with a more acoustic sound and I certainly love to perform with a live band but for the time being welcome to the my world of pop, pop, pop!

This year has been a very productive year. The second album is nearly finished and I am loving the direction and sound. None of it would have been possible without the inspiration of some really amazingly talented and creative people that have come into my life or came back into my life.

The new website is up with a lot of archive material from the first album and you'll be seeing plenty of new features and refinements added soon. Consider it a work in progress ;-)

Thank you for hanging in there waiting for new music. It's soon going to be here... August 25th will be the release date for the first single and the amazing team that put together the Celebrity du Jour video are now working on the video for the second single Modern Day Living.
