After approximately four months - from the research project application to the signing of a cooperation agreement - Dascanova has a new co-financing partner, the Austrian Research Promotion Agency. This Agency will support research and development of the Dascanova industrial prototype machine. In the first research year alone, total cost of this undertaking was 160,000 Euros.

Difference between the standard and Dascanova Technology

Standard technology for production of fiberboard or particleboard is in based on the following steps: mixing the wooden particles with resin, forming a mat and press process. Dascanova Technology, or better said Dascanova Technologies - the whole know-how includes more than six different methods and their combinations to reach our 3D density profile - may be modified at any stage. These could also be inserted as an additional step, between those of the mat formation and the pressing station.
