Are you struggling with your weight?

Maybe food controls you instead of the other way round?

Have you lost weight on different diets and programs only to gain it all back?

Are you losing hope that you will ever be able to feel good about your body?

I'm here to inform you that the reason you haven't successfully lost weight is that you haven't addressed the 7 SECRETS OF WEIGHT LOSS.

These secrets are not talked about in the weight loss indistry very much and even doctors and medical professionals are not aware of them.

I learned these secrets from a brilliant doctor, with over 15 years experience in helping people with 'sticky' weight loss and I bring them to you now:

SECRET #1 - Establish the right mindset for weightloss.

Your mindset will make or break your weight loss program. It's largely a mind game. There are some great tools you can use to help with this.

SECRET #2 - Address your stress levels.

Emotional eating can really hurt your chances of losing weight. A lot of emotional eating, believe it or not, is related to physical imbalances. If your brain chemicals (e.g. serotonin or dopamine) are not at the right levels, your appetite will be affected and you will overeat. This can be tested and corrected. If you are sensitive to common foods like wheat & dairy, you can become heavily addicted. Again, this can be conquered once you have a knowledge of how these foods affect your body.

SECRET #3 - Address malnutrition

Studies have shown that most people have chronic nutritional deficiences. Low calorie dieting, unstable blood sugar, hormone imbalances, processed and artificial foods and damaged digestion. If these issues are not addressed, permanent weight loss is not possible. The good news is that all these things can be worked on!

SECRET #4 - Take care of food allergies and sensitivities

Up to 75 % of you reading this will have some kind of hidden food sensitivity which is making you fat. You may also struggle with carbohydrate or sugar addiction. Eating more protein and fat (the right types) can knock these addictions on the head for good.

SECRET #5 - Detox your body

You live in a toxic world and it's hard to avoid all toxins. However you cut down on your toxic load and get rid of some of the stored ones in your body. May toxins are stored in your fat cells so that your body holds on to them. This makes it really tough to lose fat.

SECRET #6 - Do the right type of exercise

Most people suffer as the result of a lack of exercise. Even if you do exercise, you may be doing the wrong type. There are a lot of myths when it comes to exercise for weight loss. Cardio/aerobic exercise is NOT the best type of exercise for weight loss and can actually cause body fat storage long term.

SECRET #7 - Address hormone imbalances

Stress and malnutrition cause hormone imbalances. Weight gain round the middle or hips is a common symptom of hormone imbalance. Fatigue, PMS, menopausal problems, depression, anxiety can also accompany hormone imbalances.

Once you can command and conquer these 7 secrets, you WILL reach your optimal weight. It's guaranteed. For some of you it may happen relatively quickly, but for others the process may be slower.

Irrespective of the time frame, it's well worth considering all these secrets. If you would like yo work on a program that addresses the 7 Secrets, please contact me on 07890 080 126, or email me at dave@davehompes.com.

"People are always amazed to see whhich bugs are living inside them and what effects common foods are having on their health!"

The foundation of good health lies in proper digestion and elimination of food. All other health factors can be undermined if you don't digest and absorb nutrients well and your training will only yield average results at best. You cannot be healthy if your body is unable to digest and absorb food because food provides the building blocks for your body and the energy that drives it. Any program you may use will be of limited value without good digestive function.

You know you have a faulty digestive system if you suffer from:

Tiredness & fatigue

Abdominal cramps, bloating, belching or excess wind

Constipation, diarrhoea

Skin problems & allergies

Heartburn or acid reflux

Doctors tend to group many of these symptoms into "Irritable Bowel Syndrome" (IBS). I prefer to define IBS as "Intestinal Bull Shit" because actuallt, IBS is not a condition. All IBS has a cause and there are two main causes:

1. A digestive infection (it is very, very common for me to find bugs in my clients. One of the most common bugs is H. pylori and it causes no end of problems. You can read about it on my other website, www.h-pylori-symptoms.com). Other bacteria like E. coli can also overgrow, as can yeasts and fungi. In addition, parasites such as Blastocystis hominia, Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium and Entamoaba histolytica may be found. If you have had a bad restaurant experience, suffered digestive complaints for a long time or have had bouts of "Delhi Belly" while on holiday, the chances are that you have an infection. These infections cause the symptoms cause IBS.

2. A second reason for so-called IBS is food sensitivity. Common foods such as gluten (in bread, pasta, cakes, biscuiuts, etc) causes havoc in many people. Cow's milk, soy and eggs are other common problem foods for people. If your body reacts to these or other foods, you can develop a plethora of symptoms.

Anything that compromises your digestive system can have a profound effect on your health because you will not be able to absorb nutrients properly. Fatigue, depression, anxiety, PMS, joint aches and pains can all add to the obvious digestive symptoms such as heartburn, bloating and diarhoea.

THE SOLUTION

It is possible to eliminate all digestive symptoms.

First, it is important to eliminate the most common problem foods from your diet: gluten, cow's milk, soy in particular.

Second, you can have a very good stool test done to detect infections. I run these routinely with every client with whom I work. People are always amazed to see whhich bugs are living inside them and what effects common foods are having on their health!

The test can be done in your own home and sent to the lab for analysis. I interpret the results for you and teach you how to kill the bugs and heal your gut.

If you would like more information on how to resolve your digestive problems, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07890 080 126, or email dave@davehompes.com.

Believe it or not, these symptoms are quite easy to resolve!

THE PROBLEM:

Most depression, anxiety and PMS/PMT symptoms are caused by dietary factors and hormone imbalances.

In our modern world we are exposed to a great deal of stress. It doesn't matter whether you are consuming poor quality food, alcohol, sugar, caffeine or whether you are experiencing relationship, financial or work related stress, staying up late, suffering chronic pain and inflammation, living in a polluted environment, etc. Your body responds in the same way!

1. STRESS OVERLOAD: Your adrenal glands produce more of a hormone called cortisol. Higher cortisol levels lead to weight gain around the middle, a dampening of your immune system, a loss of muscle mass, reduced digestive function and many other symptoms.

2. STRESS FATIGUE: Over time, your adrenal glands get tired, especially if your stress continues. The cortisol starts to get too low and you will feel tired - especially in the mornings and mid-afternoons, respond unfavourably to exercise and may develop depression and anxiety, as well as headaches, fuzzy thinking and skin and digestive problems.

3. STRESS EXHAUSTION: Eventually, the adrenal glands burn out and their ability to produce these important hormones wanes. Once this happens weight gain, chronic fatigue, arthritis, low blood pressure, poor memory and many other very unpleasant symptoms can result.

During this process, the sex hormones - estrogen, progesterone, testosterone - will also become imbalanced. This can lead to depression, anxiety, PMS, cyclical headaches (all because of low progesterone in women), low libido, erectile dysfunction, muscle loss and other symptoms.

THE SOLUTION:

All the symptoms listed above can be resolved quite easily.

First, a simple saliva test for hormone levels can be performed. This test can be done at home and is called the Adrenal Stress Index. It tests for stress hormone levels - cortisol and DHEA. It is also possible to run a variety of tests to look at sex hormones.

Second, dietary and lifestyle changes may need to be made in order to optimise hormone balance. This is a key stage.

Third, a supplement program, based on the results of the lab test, is used for 4-6 months to help rebalance the hormone system and support the adrenal glands.

Fourth, the appropriate exercise program can be utilised to help recovery.

You will be absolutely amazed at just how effective this simple and inexpensive program can be.

If you would like details, please feel free to contact me via dave@davehompes.com, or on 07890 080126.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING!

Testimonials

“Dave is an extremely knowledgeable and motivational trainer. He is educated, informed and experienced and constantly impresses me with his knowledge of the body, nutrition, health, fitness and exercise. Thanks to Dave, I have never lost my motivation and have met all my goals. Dave has helped me to achieve so much and I feel more confident, fitter and healthier as a result of his personal training sessions".

Annabelle, Teacher.

"I started training with Dave a year or so ago and now, well into my
63^rd year, I am probably as fit as I was in my 40’s. His approach suits
me well as it is less about macho CV workouts, and more about a
technically and well-considered set of exercises. He is a very able and
knowledgeable trainer, who has quietly moved me forwards, and has given
me additionally the confidence and ability to undertake a trek in
Patagonia later this year. I always look forward to, and enjoy, my
training sessions – and feel good about myself afterwards. Thanks Dave!
Keith - retired"

"I decided to work with Dave because I was tired and had little energy. This had been going on for a couple of years. I did the metabolic type test and the results showed that I had been eating completely the wrong diet for my body. I received an eating plan from Dave that was easy to follow and even allowed me some foods that I thought were meant to be not so good for me. After 2 weeks, I no longer felt like I need to snack all the time because my meals actually fill me up! My energy is improved, which means that my gym sessions are more productive. As a bonus I have also managed to lose some extra pounds. The only regret I have is that I didn't find this approach earlier as it would have stopped me from going on all those fad diets!"

Kelly, Teacher

"I would like to thank you for all the information I received with your initial consultation. When I contacted you, I felt as if there was no hope and I would eventually die. After reading the information you shared with me. I began to see hope. Since our initial conversation, I have come to the realization of how what we eat, the stressors we have in our life can indeed affect our health and well being. I am currently changing my diet and have begun to read and listen to more positive motivating literature. I can now see and feel my dreams beginning to come true. I cannot began to thank you for the help and enlightening information you gave me. I will continue to research the effects of stress on the body and try to give others the knowledge I myself have received. I will certainly recommend your web site to others so that they too can began their healing process. Again, thank you for starting me on my road to recovery".

Sincerely,
Arlene Chavez
Albuquerque, New Mexico

“With every session with Dave, I noticed the drastic improvement in my posture and the pain in my back, which I thought I would never overcome, has now disappeared completely. I'm really grateful to Dave for helping me through."
