SUTIL RECORDS 2.0 IS NOW ON LINE AND READY TO AMAZE YOU.
WELCOME!

After more than a year of planning and preparation, programmer ORIOL FRANQUESA and designer SEBASTIÁN SAAVEDRA under the direction DAVID GAUSA are proud to present the new web SUTIL RECORDS 2.0!

The new site, reflecting changes in online technology, has many new sections as well as a sophisticated design and extra touches of personality. Expect the latest HTML5 technology rather and old-fashioned Flash, and visitors can leave their comments on the site or directly from Facebook. It also features our new online store SUTIL SHOP where you can buy all releases on SUTIL RECORDS and SUTL VOX. This coincides with the closure of our previous online shop Sutil Coffee Shop, the first online music store selling music. Mp3 and. Wav of an independent label in Spain, and it’s been a conscious decision to bring everything together under one roof and make it easier for users. It’s a natural progression, and the new store will offer greater choice and functionality.

But the new store is not everything; far from it, in fact. We invite you to explore the site, and discover new Music, Information and Merchandise on offer. We have plenty to offer friends of SUTIL old and new, and after eight years, we’re still brimming with passion and good vibes for music, but with a little extra experience gained along the way. All this have been poured into creating the new site, and it reflects our optimism for the future and on-going love affair with House & Techno Music.

As DAVID GAUSA, owner, label manager and A&R for both labels, explains:

‘I’m very pleased to announce the launch of the fantastic new SUTIL RECORDS website. It’s been a long and difficult road, but well worth it. I would like to take this opportunity to thank SEBASTIÁN SAAVEDRA whose design skills helped turn our ideas into reality, and the promoting expertise of ORIOL FRANQUESA who made the whole thing work. You would not be reading these words without them, so thank you guys!

SUTIL RECORDS has always been at the forefront of electronic music, and with the new site we’re taking the lead again. We were the first independent label in Spain to have a website to rival those of major labels, and where we led, others followed. Now we found ourselves in pole position again offering an online experience of the highest quality.

I wish a long and successful life to SUTIL RECORDS, and dedicate this new project of my life to ALL the followers of the label.

All this has been done and will continue to be for you!’

Angel Moraes, artisticBrooklyn, New York: one of the creators of original NYC house sound. Legendary DJ, producer, and remixer of Bob Sinclar, Pet Shop Boys, Jocelyn Brown and many more; the designer of one of the most famous sound systems in the world at Stereo in Montreal; admired and respected by his peers and house music aficionados alike. Joining him on this very special night will be David Gausa, artistic director and senior resident DJ at The Family Music Club Barcelona, and one of Spain’s leading champions of house music for over two decades, as well as being a respected producer, label boss and figure on the international scene.

In January 2001 and invited by Angel himself, a group of friends travelled from Barcelona to Montreal to check out the Clubbing phenomenon that is Stereo. Both Angel and David played on this inspirational night and so a dream was born. Now that dream becomes a reality once again as the two are united behind the decks for ‘A Family in Stereo’.

Since last Friday December 23rd 2011, DAVID GAUSA has started a new adventure as weekly resident DJ and Co-Artistic Manager along with DAVID LOPEZ, one of the residents of this new dream room created in one of the most emblematic places of BARCELONA: LA RAMBLA, 33.

Sometimes, a label like ours has the pleasure to present special projects, specially when it´s an album born from the excitement, tenacity, and desire typical of a newcomer, to give a good yield to catch the attention of the DJs and producers like you.

We are almost sure that you will be impressed by all the pieces of this debut album from the Ucranian rising stars, DUB MAKERS 'SINAI PENINSULA, counting with 'FAILID' EP as an advance, made our label keep growing discovering new talents (as done in the past with many artists that became world wide respected eventually)... In fact, we can confirm that this is part of our little-big history, and we are so happy about it!

Time to be suprised when listening carefully to all songs of this LP.
