We are already on the escalator and these two fellas had the time to pose for my camera –___-.

My first train ride to Tsim Tsa Tsui (TST, not sure if I spelled that right). We had to stop by Tung Chung first.

Jointly owned by Michael and Stanley, Home Shabu Shabu located at The Hart in TST, is a great place to gather with family and friends alike. Elegant interior and attentive service. Of course, most importantly, luscious food.

We started off with some satay and those green Japanese beans, which I can never remember the name. The satay was grilled to perfection the Jap beans of course, normal. How different can beans be anyway. :p

Next came the Sashimi which was…heavenly would be the word to describe. Fresh Salmon, prawns…makes me hungry now. Unfortunately, I only allow myself a few pieces as my stomach was not feeling too good yesterday. What bad timing when I was served one of the best meal since I arrived –___-.

After that came the signature of Home Shabu Shabu, the beef, raw and pink awaiting to be dipped into the hot pot.

It was so succulent, I basically just ate that all night. The best part is, if you have space for it, it keeps coming. Buffet style served to your table. Absolutely yummy-licious. =)

Of course, if you are any other meat lovers, there will also be plenty for you. Chicken, pork, lamb. I usually love lamb but when it comes to this, beef wins it all.

Besides ditching training/test last week, this is the first time I do my laps in HK and it feels great with a pool almost all to myself. Aside from a few giggling kids at the other end and a few tough quiet lifeguards.

Too dark to see if they are good looking though :p

Loving the serenity and my ‘me’ time. Plus point? Really safe.

Hello Hong Kong!

When we first touched down. Before I started breathing HK’s air

14 days just passed by so quickly, that pimple on my face in this picture is already gone and so much priceless knowledge and skills acquired. Today is also important as I challenged myself to the fear of heights. Sliding is over and hope we will never have to use it. *fingers crossed*

When learning stops, life stops. I feel blessed to have been given so many opportunities and to have the love from my family and friends.

29 June 2011 is my last day with Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. A job I love, with people I look forward to see as I do not dread Mondays. Of course there is the occasional whine and Sunday blues which mostly is a result of the Kuala Lumpur traffic.

After exactly One Year, Two Months and Ten Days…I am officially moving to explore something new. The boss said ‘moving forward and upwards’ and I realised I am not so sure if it’s really forward but literally upwards definitely :p

Some pictures and memories that I will cherish and I have a feeling I might meet or perhaps even work with these people again someday.

Oh…maybe it’s more than two things that I like. Love this ice cream cake from baskin robbins. Some almond cake.

So anyway, the main thing is the nice things people have to say about you, knowing your smile made a difference and the super main thing is allllllll the hugs I get in ONE day. I think I might want to start a hug club, if there is such a thing.

It has a huge beautiful pool

And unlike most hotel pool. This is actually deep enough for me to have a good swim if I wanted to. Deepest end is 1.8 metres!

Room has a comfortable bed. Jumped on it as soon as we arrived.

The room was spacious with a side bed or day bed or sofa bed, whatever you call it.

Besides swimming, there is kayaking, banana boat at the beach, also a ping pong table…

With all the good points mentioned, here are the bad points of this hotel:

Hotel breakfast was quite alright BUT alot of flies….ew….

I think it was about RM 350++ a night. Would I go there on my own? At that price and without a nice beach..probably not.

Overall a nice, quiet relaxing trip.

Decision to be made – remove or not remove?

Well, have been thinking about it since the first time it started hurting till I cannot eat last April 2010. And there after it hurts three times which was not as serious as the first. If you face the same problem. It hurts because it is inflame so try mouthwash. I use Oral B mouth wash. It prevents further swelling and kills bacteria.

Anyway to prevent future suffering, I’m leaning towards getting it removed and so the first thing I worry about besides losing a tooth is WHAT DO I EAT AFTER EXTRACTION??? Or more like WHAT CAN I EAT???

Some say no hot/warm food. So basically first day only cold food.

No use of straws to suck as it might cause further bleeding.

No hot food…not so much of a problem but looks like most food which are cold are sweet.

Don’t get me wrong. I lurrrve ice cream and yoghurt and everything ice blended cold BUT to make them as meals….

Hmm…I like my main meals salty, followed by sweet…

And for the next 4 days to a week, most advice to take soft diet.
