Sharing with one and another is usual. Feeding our pets or animals in the zoo is also usual. But this time I will show you an animal photo when a giraffe get a food from human with different way. The new entertainment park at Yongin, South Korea was being a place where two women feel new sensation in feeding a giraffe. Each of them bit a carrot, get a closer to a giraffe then this animal will take their carrot is like shown by a unique animal picture below.

This Luxurious Hummer is More Efficient than Hybrid Technology

Hummer is one of Luxurious car and its model concept based on military vehicle design. Recently, Hummer also develop the hybrid model, a kind of green environmental car with low fuel consumption. Actualizing hybrid technology will really able to save more fuel energy. But, the question Is this hybrid technology will able to defeat this other kind of Hummer model? (watch the video below)

So, what kind of technology can defeat hybrid system for now on? The answer is came from a man named Jeremy Dean. He successfully realized his crazy idea to modify Hummer become a green environmentally car and no fuel needed. He remove its originally machine but this car able to resulting power up to 2 HP (horse power). Yes..it means, he just successfully replaced its machine with original horses (animal).

Two horses able to pulled this car but need a cabby to handle and control all horses to follow his instruction and carrying the passengers to their destination. If you looks the design, he moves the seat to top-front side area. This car has finished and already initiated to people around Central Park of New York city.

Creative ....!!!

Yups.. of course, She looks beautiful even tough she just a robot (left side). A man named Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro from Osaka University has successfully made advanced creation, A Geminoid-F Robot that developed together with Robot producer, Kokoro. This humanoid robot was designed almost similar to body shape and face of a model at right side picture. This robot can mimic human behavior and equipped with 12 actuators.

Do You Know, Who is The Truly Cut Off Medusa's Head?

In a month, I have watched two box office movies. First was Percy Jackson and The Olympus - The Lightning Thief and the second was Clash of The Titans. Both of them are taken from the mythological story of Greece's god, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. The movies tell about the journey of Son of gods who fight for goodness and justice in the world.

The Lightning Thief, director Chris Columbus. This movie tells about the journey of Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon (God of Sea) who sets out on a quest in present-day America to rescue his mother, return Zeus' stolen lightning bolt and prevent a civil war from erupting among the gods.

While, Clash of Titans tells you about the story about Perseus, Son of Zeus. His quest to battle the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda and Argos City.

The interesting one of both movies is Percy Jackson and Perseus have to fight Medusa (female with Snaked Hair) to defeat their enemy. Percy go to Medusa nest to get such a blue pearl and cut of her neck that really useful when he and his friends defeat a hydra monster. But Perseus need Medusa's head to defeat big monster Kraken trough her eyes.

According to both movies, I really confused and arise a question in my head about who is the truly cut of cut off Medusa's head? Is it possible Medusa life a twice? I don't know which one is true in this mythological story. But if you have any answer, please share here.

Batik is typical way of making pattern for dress or cloth. According to an article at Wikipedia Indonesia, making of batik can refer to two things. The first is the technique of coloring cloth using the wax to prevent only part coloring of the fabric. In the international literature, this technique is known as a wax-resist dyeing. The second is a cloth or clothing made with these techniques, including the use of certain motifs that have specificity. Indonesian Batik (batik dress), as the overall technique , technology, development and cultural motives related, defined by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage for Humanity Oral and Nonbendawi (Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity) since October 2, 2009.

For long time a go, batik's method or technique does not changing. You can find so many Batik product spread at all Indonesia regions with many patterns and colors which able to generate impressively style. But, today, I just known that batik not only can be applied for cloth or dress, but also on a car. Yes! A car!.

A luxurious Mercedes Benz C250 Avant Garde was successfully modified by applied Batik pattern into all of its body. Of course that is great. Batik usually have complex pattern, it seem very difficult to create but I was surprised when read an article of our local newspaper that there is a woman able to finish and successfully make it real.

Carmanita, a woman who able to conjure a car worth 670 Million IDR ($ 72.8 K) to be a masterpiece. Actually this is a joint project from Mercedes Benz Indonesia to realize Batik at this car. Then, she got a trust and had been chosen to handle the project. Really a difficult project, but with her whole ability and efforts, she can complete the project perfectly. The pattern was designed by her own imagination together with her expert team. It was truly amazing, Mercedes Benz C250 finally sold 1 Billion IDR ($ 108.7 K) in charity auction event at Jakarta.

Someone at blogcatalog gave me an URL site address to show me something unique and different. That's a Youtube video about two men have made amazing voices collaboration. At the first, each of them perform their skill or talent to many people from Google at London, UK.

Nathan "Flutebox" Lee showed his talent skill in play a flute combine with voice and blowing natural effect. While, Beardyman showed singing performance by adapt sound of musical instrument. At the end, they performed talent collaboration. The result is really amazing, no guitar, piano, bass, etc .. only depend on their voice skill.

Haiti earthquake left so many damage and sorrow. People almost loss everything. Parents are still looking for their kids, otherwise the kids still looking for their parents and family. But how the way a baby done it?

This is Miracle

Beyond to difficult circumstance in Haiti, there is unusual moment. Something extraordinary happened when Deiby Celestino was the TV crew’s interpreter from the Dominican Republic have been successfully pull 16 month old girl out from the ruins of house on January 15 then he passed the baby to Australian journalist Mike Amor.

Almost three days or exactly 68 hours a baby with no food and no drink, trapping in collapsed building but able to survive during the time and she was looked OK when Mike hold her. She just a baby, but she is a part of hundreds or thousands people who fight to get them out, not only from the trapped ruins but also step to future life.

Wherever they are and whatever their condition now, we wish they have high spirit to take them out from this condition.

Republic of Haiti, one of Caribbean country was struck by catastrophic 7.0 SR earthquake on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. The epicenter just 15 kilometers southwest of capital, Port-au-Prince. That is so closed distance and badly affected to the areas around it, destroy major places, facilities and infrastructure that already built and developed since years a go.

Indonesia Earthquakes
This condition might be remind us to the same disaster with magnitude 9.3 SR, at Asia. Indonesia got mostly bad impact was caused extremely tsunami in December 26, 2004, A day after Christmas. Almost a half of total 230,000 estimated victims were death in this country. Then, followed by so many earthquakes was happened at some areas at Sumatra, Java, and Irian Island. For example, earthquake at Jogja (May 27, 2006, 5.9 SR), Pangandaran (July 17. 2006, 6.8 SR), Manokwari (Januari 4, 2009, 7.2SR), and Tasikmalaya (September 2, 2009, 7.3 SR). Those are really tragical moment.

Twelve days after New Year
And now, Haiti, a country with total area 27.7 square kilometers was facing the same condition. Widespread destruction affected from this quake. The Presidential Palace, the grandest building in Haiti also collapse. Unknown how many victims there. the Prime Minister, Jean-Max Belleriv believed a hundred thousand people was death.

Haiti known as the poor country and this circumstance will increase the suffers of people there. Not only a big number of death victims but also thousands citizen will loss their home, job, and everything they have before. Socking people everywhere, sadness and tears found in every country's area, loss their family and many of them still looking for one and others hope their relation still alive.

I toke my earphone and fixed it at my ears. I turn on the Winamp and started to choose several relaxing mp3 song to put it in playlist. Unintentionally, I found a song "Dance with My Father" in my computer folder. I was not familiar with the title so I played it firstly for just want to know. Here is what I have listened when enjoyed break time in my office :

Who's the singer?
After listen it, I think you will fully agree with me if I say that it is a really pretty song. Luther Vandross have gave soul to this song through his silky voice. Not only good in rhythm and voice, "Dance with My Father" also give emotional content about love and relationship which ever felt and experienced along his life. He told about how someone fell when loose a father or someone who you love so much. At any moment, the longing sense will merge and someone would be back at the past, memorize all the thing when they are together.

Luther Vandross (54), American R&B singer died at July 1, 2005. He suffered delibitating stroke since April 2003. During his musician carrier as a singer, he won 4 Grammy Awards from his 4 different albums. Good achievement, alright? He might leaved a lot of fans, but his masterpiece and song's albums always remain us about life, value of love and relationship each others.

China Launched Shenzhou VII

Today, the Indonesian local newspaper -KOMPAS- reported about launch China's third manned space mission on Thursday (9/25). Three astronauts were carried by Shenzhou VII and one of them will perform space walk, the first time acted by China citizen.

Shenzhou VII craft flight from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at Gansu Province. This is the third manned after Shenzhou VI had launched on October 2005. We all don't want our visitors wait the pages opened too long times and make them leave our website. That's why the search engine like Google and Yahoo created perfectly algorithm and able to show their result under 0.5 second. That's good performance.

Why the result is different?
I don't have the answer about it. The best tool surely will give us the accurately information of the loading time. If I tested Google and Yahoo, the iweb.com and websiteoptimization.com resulting a slightly different not more than 0.1 second. The loading time for Google is around 0.22s and Yahoo is 0.55s. But using pingdom.com, the loading time reach 0.6s for Google and 1.5 for Yahoo. So significant!. I tested use those tools at very close time so this factor may neglected.

The conclusion
Certain a blog that you think it has good performance in loading time. Compare with your blog than you check the result. If yours has more second than the reference blog, you have to evaluate your server or hosting performance also the website design and content. Maybe there's too much images or graphics load and you must improve it.

Social Responsibility Sense of Design Winner in IDEAs 2008

Recently on July 2008, juries have decided and announced IDEAs design winners of the year. This International level event that sponsored by BusinessWeek magazines and Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) able to catch attention for many designer over the world. BusinessWeek was reporting that USA, several Europe country, Asia that represented by Japan, China, Korea and for the first time, new comer from Latin America, Brazil being a part of the competition.

This event is divided into 3 categorized participant, they are from corporations, design firms and schools. For corporations, Apple received the most gold awards through their 3 design models. In design firms categorized, Fuse Project and Rockwell Group awarded with 2 golds, and both of Samsung Design Membership (SADI) and Hanyang University Royal of Art won a single gold award. According to data of IDSA site, out of total 1517 entries, 35 were awarded Gold awards, 77 received Silver awards and 99 for Bronze awards. Also, for the first time, 389 finalists were named in addition to the winner for this year.

In other side, juries also announced favorite winners or the most winning entries whose not only have good value in esthetically and functional design, but also a strong sense of social responsibility. There's four designs have been chosen, they are :

Balance Sport Wheelchair

Sport wheelchair designed for physically challenged athletes with hands free breaking and turning system to facilitate when playing basketball.

The non profit OLPC was designed to give contribution in education field. Bring learning, communication and communication to children in developing country.

Design for Democracy: Ballot + Election

Award : Gold - Packaging & Graphics

A useful book for U.S. States election as the basis for national guidelines for ballot design and polling place signs.

Chulha low-smoke biomass stove

Award : Bronze - Ecodesign

A stove was designed as solution of air pollution case in rural India that causing respiratory diseases. This is a biomass fuel stove with low smoke, high efficiency and faster the cooking time

Valuable Designs - In my opinion :

After read about this article and concerned to several design picture and profile, I'm so salute for all participants whose able to create amazing objects. Their concepts aren't thought yet by somebody else. That all unique and surely original works. But, a judging criteria that so impress to me is "strong sense of social responsibility". Four kind of designs have decided as the winners because their creative innovation give good impact to major human life. Good job for all designers and good works for IDEAs committees.

Now, Beijing is being a busiest city in the world preceding to Olympic event. Base on to so many aspects have been made, changed, and prepared by Olympic committee, there's a thing attract me and like to write it here. It's about building facilities which constructed with unique, special and luxurious landscape model. What's special :

Building forms is inspired by the natural form of soap bubbles which give beautiful effect. Sustainable structure with so light weight translucent recyclable panels. Bubbles cladding material have more light than glass, good insulator and resistance to rain shower and weathering effect of sunlight. The greenhouse concept with photovoltaic panels roof gives saving consumption up to 30% of pool hall. Building also have sophisticated water supply efficient system that able to maximize reuse and recycling opportunities.

National Stadium

What's special :

The stadium was constructed with 36 km long of unwrapped steel and has form like 'bird's nest'. The steel structure appears random and very complex. This is so difficult design building even more it built on seismic zone. High calculation, analysis and modeling are needed to ensure this building able to withstand earthquakes. Therefore, this is a really innovative stadium as collaboration of its architecture and engineering consultant.

Olympic Beijing 2008 - China's Proof as a Great Country

'China will grow larger', A sounding sentence I'm heard when playing computer war game 'General - Command and Conquer'. If you are younger and like computer's game, you should be know it. That statement always blare out every construct a building for China team. So what's the relationship to the Olympic event? China or Beijing exactly has been chosen as host of International Olympic 2008, the largest world sport event. This country won the election by IOC (International Olympic Committee) on July 13, 2001 beating the other candidate cities Istanbul (TUR), Osaka (JPN), Paris (FRA), and Toronto (CAN). Over the years, now China has being one of the biggest country in Asia. Having fast and high economically growth, incredible industry and infrastructure development, also hold world's important role. So it isn't needed to be questionable if Beijing selected to be third city as host of XXIX Olympic after Tokyo (JAP - 1964) and Seoul (KOR - 1988) in Asia.

Olympic is known as International multi sport event (wikipedia src.) and as a host, China will shows over the world through its high credibility and seriousness by working hard from the beginning of preparation to the end, forming the committee, prepare all sport facilities and infrastructure, bring a thousand people to participated, and surely has set up billions dollar budget to success this event.

New Sony Display Technology

I ever received an email but I forgot when the time exactly I got it, I guess more than six month ago. I don't know about the detail content yet even more the email had been deleted now. The things that I remembered is just the picture inside. I knew that was like a kind of LCD Monitor and there are 'SONY' printing mark at its front cover. This time, I try to get any information and hope get the detail about it. Then I search through 'Google search' and found the official online Sony shopping store (USA) address, www.sonystyle.com. Click... Yes!!.. I found it... not difficult! .. but I think that I was totally wrong to guess it. That's not LCD monitor. Look at the picture below, the new Sony display product innovation called as Organic LED (OLED) is the next generation of television. The website note it.

That is really.. really the most thickness television I ever know. With only 3 mm thickness panel and featured by XEL-1 technology with connectivity option consist of 2 HDMI inputs, a digital tuner, memory stick media slot and so many others. By visiting to the website, you can find what are the strong points that Sony has offered to us mainly about understanding and how the OLED works. Check it out....!

In my opinion, this product is really incredible breakthrough idea. The shape is futuristic but simple. Although I'm not check it directly, I sure that this television has high quality picture according to its contrast ratio specification, high brightness and Sony's technology experience even more Sony has claimed this product more efficient in energy consumption because of the utilizing light generated by the organic material.
