The library’s annual staff retreat is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, August 15th. In order to allow all staff members to attend, the library will close to the public at 12 noon on Friday, August 15th.

Beginning on August 1, 2014, all library rooms will be available for reservation directly. Some rooms will still require confirmation, but you can see availability and request the reservation for all rooms at okcu.libcal.com.

New Hours and Rooms Tools

The library has started to implement LibCal by Springshare. This will make it possible to see the current hours on our web page and to reserve study rooms directly from the availability calendars.

3rd floor renovation

The renovation of the 3rd floor is progressing. The new small (1-2 person) study rooms have walls and are getting paint, electrical wiring, and air vents. The next steps will include woodwork, windows, and doors.

Catalog Update

The upgrade to the library catalog is nearly complete. Everything should be working at this point except for the room reservations calendar for rooms 109, 510, and 511. You can still make reservations by calling the circulation desk at 405-208-5068 or by using the Request Forms directly in the library catalog for the Study Rooms (using Internet Explorer).

Library Catalog Upgrade

The Dulaney-Browne Library and the Law Library are upgrading the software that runs the libraries’ catalogs starting Monday, June 9, 2014. The public catalog is expected to have a short outage around 10:00 am on Monday, and other features (including links from WorldCat) will be down most of the day.
