I don’t think that visiting and following dozens of blogs and sites is a smart thing to do because that will simply leave you with no spare time to actually take action on all the stuff you read.</p><p>This is why I decided to narrow down the list of sites and blogs I follow on continuous basis to the following 11 as I gain a lot from the content they publish and it still leaves me with plenty of time to take action on the content and tips they share. Blogging isn’t easy and I know that from personal experience as I have struggled and still struggling to find the direction I want to go in and to actually get my blog to where I want it to be, which among other things would be to get featured on such a list on someone else’s blog <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" class='wp-smiley' title="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" /> .</p><p>All of the following sites have helped me a lot and I’m sure that they can help you too. This is also my way of saying thanks to these bloggers and sites for the help and inspiration they provide. The list is no particular order and I didn’t rank these sites according to importance.</p><p>This wasn&#8217;t a competition <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" class='wp-smiley' title="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" /></p><p style="text-align: center"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5278" title="divider" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/divider.jpg" width="479" height="21" /></p><h3><a href="http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Smart Passive Income" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Smart-Passive-Income.jpg" width="180" height="270" /></a></h3><h2>Smart Passive Income</h2><p><strong>Pat Flynn</strong> is a true inspiration and it is pretty amazing to see what he was able to achieve with his blog over the past 2 years or so. Pat’s <strong>Smart Passive Income</strong> blog is a really a must read for anyone looking to start making money online as I am more than certain that you can learn quite a few things from what he is sharing.</p><p>One of the great things about Pat and his blog, is the fact that he is totally transparent about what he is doing and about his online earnings. Every month he publishes an income report for the previous month showing not only the numbers but also what he learned and how he was able to earn them.</p><p>Pat is giving you all the details and insights about his earnings and there really is a lot you can learn by following him on his blog.</p><h3>Top SPI Posts You Should Read:</h3><ul><li><a href="http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/passive-income-101/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Getting started with Smart Passive Income</a></li><li><a href="http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/the-best-of-smart-passive-income/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Best of Smart Passive Income</a></li></ul><div><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto" class="aligncenter" title="divider" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/divider.jpg" width="479" height="21" /></div><h3><a href="http://www.viperchill.com/" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="ViperChill" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/ViperChill.jpg" width="180" height="180" /></a></h3><h2>Viperchill</h2><p><strong>Glen Allsop</strong> is the man behind <strong>Viperchill</strong> and I don’t know of any other blogger that puts so much into every single post he publishes. It is really amazing but it seems that every single post on Viperchill is what can be considered as an epic post.</p><p>Glen doesn’t have a posting schedule and he can go for weeks (or more) without new content but when he does publish something, it is a must read. It seems that Glen shares with Pat Flynn the desire to help others achieve the same success online without demanding anything in return (something that others on this list also seem to share).</p><h3>Top Viperchill Posts You Should Read:</h3><ul><li><a href="http://www.viperchill.com/niche-analysis/" target="_blank">Data Mining: The Ultimate Guide to Niche Analysis</a></li><li><a href="http://www.viperchill.com/keyword-research/" target="_blank">The Ultimate Guide to Keyword Research</a></li><li><a href="http://www.viperchill.com/email-blogging/" target="_blank">How to Build a Six Figure Blog Without Anyone Knowing</a></li></ul><div><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto" class="aligncenter" title="divider" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/divider.jpg" width="479" height="21" /></div><h3><a href="http://www.marcandangel.com/" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Marc and Angel Hack Life" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Marc-and-Angel-Hack-Life.jpg" width="180" height="236" /></a></h3><h2>Marc and Angel Hack Life</h2><p>I only found out about <strong>Marc and Angel Hack Life</strong> blog a few weeks ago and I have been reading their posts every day since. I was very surprised that I haven’t heard about this blog before as it seems to be very popular with almost 60,000 RSS subscribers and it focuses on providing practical tips for productive living which is something I am very interested in.</p><p>I am sure you know that one of the most popular types of posts is the lists posts and as far as I can see, that is the only type of posts you will find on Marc and Angel’s blog and I personally love it. I have no idea how they can create so many of these lists posts but I’m more than happy to read and learn from them all.</p><h3>Top Marc and Angel Hack Life Posts You Should Read:</h3><ul><li><a href="http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/02/20/12-things-highly-productive-people-do-differently/" target="_blank">12 Things Highly Productive People Do Differently</a></li><li><a href="http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/01/22/12-things-successful-people-do-differently/" target="_blank">12 Things Successful People Do Differently</a></li><li><a href="http://www.marcandangel.com/2011/01/10/10-simple-truths-smart-people-forget/" target="_blank">10 Simple Truths Smart People Forget</a></li><li><a href="http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/01/15/101-simple-truths-we-often-forget/" target="_blank">101 Simple Truths We Often Forget</a></li></ul><div style="text-align: center"><img title="divider" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/divider.jpg" width="479" height="21" /></div><h2><a href="http://passivepanda.com/" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Passive Panda" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Passive-Panda.jpg" width="180" height="328" /></a>Passive Panda</h2><p><strong>James Clear</strong> is the man behind the fairly new <strong>Passive Panda</strong> blog. Passive Panda is all about helping you earn more money and what I found fascinating about this blog is how quickly James grew it and turned it into the success it is today.</p><p>Being able to build a blog that makes you a full time income within 6 months in such a competitive niche is really impressive and <strong>Corbett Bar</strong> from <strong>Think Traffic</strong> thought the same thing since he did an interview with James in which he <a href="http://thinktraffic.net/passive-panda" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">explains exactly how he was able to do it</a>.</p><p>Passive Panda has really epic content which is quite similar to the level of what <strong>Glen Allsop</strong> is doing on <strong>Viperchill</strong> (but not really there yet IMO). James puts a great deal of emphasis on the quality of the content he publishes and it clearly shows when you visit the blog and read some of the stuff he published.</p><h3>Top Passive Panda Posts You Should Read:</h3><ul><li><a href="http://passivepanda.com/getting-started" target="_blank">The Simple Blueprint to Getting Started (Plus, 7 Ways to Consistently Make Good Choices)</a></li><li><a href="http://passivepanda.com/best" target="_blank">Are You Giving Your Best Effort or Your Best Excuse?</a></li><li><a href="http://passivepanda.com/best-way-make-money" target="_blank">The Truth: Why Trading Time For Money is the Best Way to Make More Money</a></li></ul><div><img style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto" class="aligncenter" title="divider" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/divider.jpg" width="479" height="21" /></div><div style="text-align: center">&#160;</div><h2><a href="http://www.seobook.com/blog" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="SEOBook" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/SEOBook.jpg" width="240" height="55" /></a>SEOBook</h2><p><strong>SEOBook</strong> is <strong>Aaron Wall’s</strong> blog and it is the only blog on the web (that I know of) that tells the tail about Google the way it should be told. There are currently 17 episodes of the random show and these videos are without a doubt my favorite part of his blog. I would say that the two most known plugins are his <a href="http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>WordPress SEO Plugin</strong></a> and <a href="http://yoast.com/wordpress/google-analytics/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><strong>Google Analytics for WordPress</strong></a>.</p><p><strong>Yoast’s</strong> posts are usually not very long and they are straight to the point kind of posts which makes them very easy to read and to take action if needed.</p><h3>Top Posts From Yoast:</h3><ul><li><a href="http://yoast.com/godaddy-link-building/" target="_blank">GoDaddy’s spammy link building techniques</a></li><li><a href="http://yoast.com/link-building-101/" target="_blank">Link Building 101</a></li><li><a href="http://yoast.com/site-structure-seo/" target="_blank">Intelligent Site Structure for better SEO</a></li><li><a href="http://yoast.com/complete-guide-duplicate-content/" target="_blank">The complete guide to duplicate content</a></li></ul><div style="text-align: center"><img title="divider" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/divider.jpg" width="479" height="21" /></div><h2><a href="http://www.lumosity.com/" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Lumosity Logo" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Lumosity-Logo1.jpg" width="180" height="180" /></a></h2><h2>Lumosity</h2><p><strong>Lumosity</strong> is different from the other sites I mentioned as it isn’t a blog and I don’t visit this site for the content (although it does have some very interesting content to read). I visit <strong>Lumosity</strong> in order to play games and I think of it as the gym for my brain and it really does improve brain health and performance.</p><p>Every morning before I start checking emails and begin working I make sure to complete one course. The games are fun and it is really cool to see how you progress overtime and get better at them and its also pretty cool to see how you compare against others in your age group.</p><p>The reason I know it works is quite simple. I first heard about <strong>Lumosity</strong> and started using it around 2009 and for some reason I stopped using the site for about 18 months or so and only recently got back into it. I can clearly see how poorly I preform now in comparison to last time since <strong>Lumosity</strong> keeps the top 5 scores for every game you play and I just can’t see to beat my old scores from 2009 <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" class='wp-smiley' title="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" /> .</p><p>Here is a screenshot of my brain profile which I think I can brag about <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" class='wp-smiley' title="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" /> .</p><p><a href="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Lumosity1.png"><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px" title="Lumosity" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Lumosity_thumb.png" width="420" height="292" /></a></p><h3>Top Lumosity Games I Love:</h3><ul><li><a href="http://www.lumosity.com/brain-games/attention-games/birdwatching" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Birdwatching</a></li><li><a href="http://www.lumosity.com/brain-games/problem-solving-games/raindrops" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Raindrops</a></li><li><a href="http://www.lumosity.com/brain-games/attention-games/lost-in-migration" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lost in Migration</a></li></ul><h2><img style="background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Want More" border="0" alt="11 Blogs, Bloggers and Sites I Think You Should Follow" align="right" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Want-More.jpg" width="240" height="223" />Want More Blogs?</h2><p>I personally don’t think you need to follow too many blogs because that will simply take too much of your time and from my own experience I can tell you that only reading blogs all day wouldn’t really help you achieve you goals. You need to focus on implementing the stuff you read and taking action since that is the only way to truly advance towards your life and business goals.</p><p>With that said, I figured I should let you know about Tom Ewer&#8217;s <a href="http://www.leavingworkbehind.com/the-leaving-work-behind-100-q1-2012/" target="_blank">list of the 100 blogs you need in your life</a>. " title="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " /></a></p><p>After last week’s big launch of <strong>SEO Link Monster</strong> I had some thoughts that I wanted to share with you. It seems that writing honest reviews doesn’t really work <span style="text-decoration: underline;">for conversions</span> as I hoped it will and it seems that in order to really make money from product launches you pretty much need to lie or at least withhold some truths,  write as little as possible and do all you can to make the visitor click to the actual product sales page.</p><p>To be honest, that is not a big surprise but it still kind of pisses me off <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " class='wp-smiley' title="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " /> . As far as SEO Link Monster is concerned I hoped it would be a really great product that I could highly recommend but I knew from the start that the high price would be a major issue for most users and that I wouldn’t make too many sales and that indeed turned out to be what happened.</p><h2>Am I Going To Stop?</h2><p>HELL NO.</p><p>Like I said, it isn’t a big surprise for me and I know that I can make a lot more sales if I will change the way I write my reviews and focus more on converting visitors in order to simply make more sales. But that is not what I’m focusing on with my reviews and I have no intention of changing that.</p><p>I will keep on writing reviews just as I have. Making sure to test what I review first and be as honest as possible about it. The fact that it doesn&#8217;t seem to be worth it as far as conversions and income doesn’t mean there are no benefits.</p><p>Doing things differently is important and I started this blog looking to provide different type of reviews and I don’t really see any competition other than what Shane Melaugh is doing over at <a href="http://imimpact.com/category/reviews/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">IMimpact</a>, but it seems he has way more stuff to focus on than writing reviews and in any case, I am more than happy to be in competition with him <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " class='wp-smiley' title="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " /> .</p><h2>What Are The Benefits?</h2><p>Aside from doing things differently which is something I decided to do and focus on a while back, writing honest reviews on internet marketing related products and services does have additional benefits.</p><h3>Respect &amp; Trust</h3><p>If you will take the time to read some of the comments I got for my SEO Link Monster Review you will see that most visitors really appreciate that kind of review. I get similar comments to all of my reviews and gaining respect and trust is very hard in the internet marketing world thanks to all those so called “gurus”, so being able to gain that trust is super important to me.</p><p>It is far more important to me and my online business than just making some sales today. I try to focus on long term success and I just don’t think that trying to convert the most and make more sales fits with my long term view. The way I see it, focusing on conversions and sales is more of a short term thing.</p><h3>Traffic</h3><p>One of the three reasons I mentioned in my <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/seo-link-monster-review/" target="_blank">SEO Link Monster Review</a> for actually taking the time to review the product was that it is going to be a huge launch and aside from the income potential, I also knew I am going to get a lot of traffic if I will be able to rank high enough on Google.</p><p>I was more than thrilled to find out I wasn’t wrong. SEO Link Monster was a huge launch, with a lot of hype and a ton of search engine traffic. I was also able to rank on top of Google (not sure about the exact rankings as they varied quite a bit on a daily basis) but I made sure that my listing will pop out by being the only one to add stars ratings.</p><p align="center"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Stars_Rating" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Stars_Rating.png" alt="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " width="545" height="130" border="0" /></p><p align="left">I was able to do that thanks to a great free WordPress plugin called, <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/author-hreview/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Author hReview</a> and if you are writing review on your blog than this plugin is a must have in my opinion. When you have the only listing that has star rating than just being above the fold could be more than enough to attract a lot of traffic.</p><p align="left">Here is a screenshot I tool from my <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/getclicky" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Get Clicky</a> dashboard showing the visitors graph to my blog over the past 28 days.</p><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/getclicky" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Blog_Visits" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Blog_Visits.png" alt="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " width="380" height="190" border="0" /></a></p><p>As you can clearly see, my blog traffic tripled during the first 2-3 days of the launch and it is still quite higher than what it was before. I got a lot of new visitors to the blog thanks to my SEO Link Monster Review and I hope that by reading the review and finding about my blog for the first time will mean that some of them will continue to visit in the days, months and years to come.</p><p>According to some of the comments I received on that review, it does look like I have earned a few new followers which is simply AWESOME and means a lot more to me than making a few more sales.</p><h2>Bottom Line</h2><p>As I said, I am not going to stop writing my reviews the way I write them. I will keep on providing honest and straight forward reviews that will provide you with a clear picture of what the service and/or product is all about.</p><p>Thanks.</p><p>To your success (and mine <img title="Honest Review" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... " /> ),</p><p><img title="Dror Bekerman" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Signature.png" alt="Writing Honest Reviews Doesn&rsquo;t Work... Today I want to share with you how much my business changed since I started outsourcing my link building instead of doing it all myself.</p><p>I am sure you read quite a bit about outsourcing and why it is so important so i&#8217;m not going to bore you with all that is already obvious. All I will say is that when I decided it is time for me to start outsourcing my main thought was that I needed to stop link building since it just took too much of my time and to be honest with you, I really got a little tired of all the link building and when I get bored with something I tend to not do it or at least not put all my heart into it.</p><p>Not a good thing when I pretty much depend on SEO to make a living (which is also not a very good thing but I will leave that for another post).</p><h2>So What Happened?</h2><p>This happened:</p><p align="center"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Outsourcing" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Outsourcing.png" alt="The Impact Outsourcing Had On My Business" width="635" height="445" border="0" /></p><p>The graph above is my income and expense graph for the year 2011. As you can see, it started with me making just as much as I was spending but it ended quite differently. Before you start asking, there is a reason why I don’t share the actual figure and that&#8217;s simply because the figures are not important  to what I’m trying to show here.</p><p>I started outsourcing on August 2011 and as you can see, since than there is a really big improvement in my income while my expenses kept going down except for December, in which I simply bought more stuff, paid for the full year ahead and mainly for tax reasons.</p><p>The big spike you see in July is thanks to the launch of my WSO, <a href="http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/409650-how-profit-feeding-frenzy-created-hot-internet-marketing-product-launches.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Product Launch Domination Blueprint</a>, and that is also the reason for the drop in August. WSO’s usually make most of the money in the first few days and mine wasn’t any different.</p><p>The graph doesn’t show what happened in January 2012 but I can say that I had another spike in income pretty much similar to the one you see in July and this time without any WSO <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="The Impact Outsourcing Had On My Business" class='wp-smiley' title="The Impact Outsourcing Had On My Business" /> Just from doing what I was doing and thing are looking better every month.</p><h2>What I’m Trying To Say?</h2><p>Start outsourcing as soon as you can.</p><p>Don’t be afraid to invest the money into outsourcing because that is the only real way to see major growth in your business. When you are outsourcing the tedious, day to day tasks, you have much more free time to put into what really matters.</p><p>Outsourcing is much easier than what you might think and it is a hell of a lot easier than what all of those so called outsourcing “gurus” would like you to think. I confess that I was a little bit overwhelmed when I started  thinking about outsourcing and finding a full time VA and that actually kept me from doing it for a few months.</p><p>But once I decided to just go and see what it is all about, it really turned out to be a very easy thing to do and I was able to find a VA that really helped me transform my online business. You can read all about the process I went through on my post, <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/how-i-found-my-outsourcer/">how I found my outsourcer</a>.</p><div class='ta-box ta-blue'><div class='ta-box-content'>Feel free to share your own experience with outsourcing by commenting below. My real name is <strong>Dror Bekerman</strong>. I am a 30 year old dude from Israel and I make a full time income from affiliate marketing and this blog is a big part of my online business and I finally know what I want this blog to be.</p><p>I am not yet ready to reveal that to the world but I can tell you that the rebranding process has already started and this post is probably the first step. Over the past few months I really started to feel bad about the name of this blog and more about the fact that I haven’t been using my real name.</p><p>The name of the blog will remain the same (for now) but there is no more reason for me to keep hiding behind the alias name I created for myself.</p><h2>Why Did I Use An Alias?</h2><p>I expected you might asked that and I can completely understand where you are coming from with this question. I had 2 main reasons for not using my real name when I started this blog.</p><h3><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Lets Get Personal" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/1.png" alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." width="240" height="240" align="right" border="0" />Reason One</h3><p>My name isn’t easy to pronounce for English speaking people and I know that from experience. I was in the USA back in 2004 working in shopping malls and I didn’t use my real name either. It seems that people were having a hard time pronouncing it so I decided to make it easier for everyone and said my name was Dave <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." class='wp-smiley' title="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." /> .</p><p>Actually, and this is quite funny, when English speaking people pronounce my name, it sounds like they are saying, drawer. The problems is that this is funny for everyone else except me <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." class='wp-smiley' title="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." /></p><h3><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: right; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Lets Get Personal" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/2.png" alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." width="240" height="240" align="right" border="0" />Reason Two</h3><p>I always wanted to have a blog. I wanted to start a blog for years but I didn’t do anything about it because I didn’t know what I wanted to blog about. 2 things happened that pushed me to finally start a blog. The first was that my big brother started his own <a href="http://ronenbekerman.com" target="_blank">architectural visualization</a> blog (guess how he got that #1 ranking) and since we have a very healthy brotherly competition between us, there was no way in hell I would agree to the fact that my brother has a great blog and I don’t <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." class='wp-smiley' title="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." /> .</p><p>The second thing was that I jumped into the internet marketing waters and started promoting Clickbank product launches and doing other things in order to try and make some money online so I thought I knew what I wanted to blog about.</p><p>When I first started this blog it was supposed to be a Clickbank product launch authority site. Instead of creating a new site for every product, I would simply create one master site and write about all the various product launches here. Since most Clickbank product launches are crap I didn’t want to use my real name as I wasn’t very happy with what I was doing.</p><p>I didn’t like promoting Clickbank product launches and even though it made me money, I later decided to stop doing them or at least be honest about them and not do it just to make some sales. Meaning that if a product sucked I would say so and won’t recommend it. Just like I did with my <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/google-sniper-2-review" target="_blank">Google Sniper 2.0 Review</a>.</p><p>I think that the name of this blog, <strong>dbpmarketing</strong>, is a pretty good proof to the fact that I had no idea what this blog would be about. It is a pretty stupid name and I bet you can all guess what the D &amp; B stand for but I dare you to guess what the P means. I would even make it a guessing a game and the first one to guess what the P stands will get $25 from me to his PayPal account.</p><p>So the first reason is that I really didn’t know what this blog will turn out to be and I didn’t want to use my name since the first thing I thought about doing wasn’t something I was really proud of.</p><h2><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-5204" title="Sorry" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Sorry.jpg" alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." width="222" height="267" />Bottom Line</h2><p>I don’t really consider this to be a lie since many people that contacted me personally know that Dave isn’t my real name and the picture you see in the header of the blog is indeed my own. I really started to feel bad about not using my real name and about picking such a bad domain name for the past few months since the blog started to take shape and gain notice that I knew I would come out with it eventually.</p><p>It was only a matter of time and that time is NOW <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." class='wp-smiley' title="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." /> .</p><p>As I mentioned before, I am planning to rebrand this blog during 2012, moving to a new domain name that will actually make sense and be related to what I will be blogging about and setting the record straight about my real name is the first step towards that. I still need to check how I should be doing that while not losing any of my current Google rankings.</p><p>I hope my reasons make sense and just in case, I am sorry about not using my real name but as far as I see it, I was honest about my reviews and everything else I blogged about so I hope you don’t take it too personally.</p><p>Feel free to share your thoughts by commenting below.</p><div class='ta-box ta-yellow'><div class='ta-box-content'>Don’t forget, the one that will be able to guess what the <strong>&#8220;P&#8221;</strong> stands from in DB<strong>P</strong>Marketing will get $25 from me to his PayPal account. I wasn’t kidding about that.</div></div><p>Thanks.</p><p>To your success (and mine <img title="Dror Bekerman" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/wlEmoticon-winkingsmile1.png" alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." />),</p><p><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Dror Bekerman" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/signature-dror-bekerman.png" alt="Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave..." width="300" height="30" border="0" /></p><p><p>-----------------------</p><p>Thanks for reading! <br />If you would like to leave a comment on this post, please click the link below:</p><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/lets-get-personal/">Lets Get Personal, My Real Name Is Not Dave&#8230;</a></p><p><a href="http://pingbackpower.com/" target="_blank">Get my free WordPress Plugin - Pingback Power</a><br /><a href="https://www.facebook.com/dbpmarketing" target="_blank">Join my new Facebook Page</a></p></p><div class="feedflare">

If you haven’t read that post yet than I recommend you do but in I will also summarize it here by saying that after checking more than 15,000 pingbacks I got to this blog I found that only 17.52% are indexed.</p><p>Since I had plenty of not indexed URLs with my links live on these pages I figured I could do a little indexing service roundup and see which indexing service will provide the best results. I ended up testing 3 services so this isn’t a real roundup as some services stayed out for various reasons but I the 3 I tested are the most popular ones as far as I know so I think it should still be information you can use and learn from.</p><p>I divided my big not indexed URL list to several lists each with 1500 URLs that contain my live links and are not indexed. I double checked that for every list just to make sure.</p><p>I tested the indexing rates using <a href="http://www.scrapebox.com/bhw" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Scrapebox</a> and I used proxies from <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/proxybonanza" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Proxy Bonanza</a>. It seems that the interface of Nuclear Link Indexer is a little more complicated than the other 2 but I didn’t really went into details. I just uploaded my URL list and left it for 30 days since I also wanted to test how easy and simple these services are to use.</p><h2>The Results</h2><h3>Nuclear Link Indexer – 10.66% Indexed</h3><p align="center"><img title="NLI Results 01" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Nuclear_Link_Indexer_Results.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" /><img title="NLI Results 02" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Nuclear_Link_Indexer_Results_02.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" /></p><p>According to the Nuclear Link Indexer interface, the indexing rate is 73.87%. I really don’t know where the big difference comes from so I asked how they are testing the indexing rates and here is the reply I received from Kow Kok Choon:</p><blockquote><p><em>We use a list of proxy urls and submit your links to google and perform the search through those proxy and if your links exists in google search, means that it is being indexed. we&#8217;ve tested our checking for so many times and adjusted it for several times when google has changes, so I&#8217;m confident that our check is accurate.</em></p></blockquote><h3>Backlinks Indexer – 4.00% Indexed</h3><p align="center"><img title="Backlinks Indexer Results 01" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backlinks_Indexer_Results_02.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" /><img title="Backlinks Indexer Results 02" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backlinks_Indexer_Results_001.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="234" height="204" /></p><p>I also asked them to explain the low indexing rate and so far I didn’t receive a reply. If and when I will receive one I will share it here.</p><h3>Backlink Indexing – 0.006% Indexed</h3><p align="center"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-width: 0px;" title="Backlink Indexing Results 01" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backlink_Indexing_Results_thumb.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="234" height="204" border="0" /><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-width: 0px;" title="Backlink Indexing Results 02" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backlink_Indexing_Results_04.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="234" height="204" border="0" /></p><p>As with the other 2 services, I asked for an explanation for the very very low indexing rate and I’m still waiting for a reply. Once I will get one it will be posted here.</p><p><strong>Update:</strong> Ryan has replied and didn&#8217;t have an answer to explain the low index rates but he did provide me with a full refund which I found to be pretty awesome and I truly appreciate that. I know for a fact that not many would have done the same.</p><h3>Linklicious.me &#8211; 0.006% Indexed</h3><p align="center"><img style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-width: 0px;" title="linklicious.me Results 01" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/linklicious.me_Results_01.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="234" height="204" border="0" /><img style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-width: 0px;" title="linklicious.me Results 02" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/linklicious.me_Results_02.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="234" height="204" border="0" /></p><p>As you can see, Linklicious.me didn&#8217;t really bring any different or good results. The service is more about getting your links crawled which should also help them get indexed but that doesn&#8217;t seem to be the case.</p><h3>Test Group</h3><p>I also kept a list of 1500 URLs that I didn’t touch and didn’t try to get indexed in any way just to see if some of these URLs will still be indexed during these 30 days and I guess it could be considered as a test group.</p><p><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;" title="Test Group Results" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Test_Group_Results.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="234" height="204" border="0" /></p><h2>Conclusion</h2><p>Wow. That is what I thought when I saw these crappy results. I was a little worried for a second that I might have done something wrong but when you think about it, all I had to do is to simply load the URL lists to each service and that is something a 6 year old can do so I really doubt if I screwed up the results somehow.</p><p>The only thing I can think of is that Scrapebox is to blame but since I don’t know of any other way to check the indexing rates of mass amounts of URLs, I don’t really see how I can do this test without it. Plus, I know that many others are using Scrapebox as the only tool for checking indexing rates so I never really put much thought into how accurate it really is.</p><p>In order to check how accurate Scrapebox really is I run each URL list 3 times in order to see if there will be any big differences. As you can see from the screenshots above there are no big differences so the only real way is to simply check manually every URL in Google with site: search operator and see what the real indexing rate is. That is a bit to much for me an in either case, no one is really going to check this way and in order to know if these services are really providing what the users are paying for you need to be able to easily check indexing rates. I only know one tool for the job and that is Scrapebox.</p><h3>What&#8217;s Next?</h3><p>I am planning to test more link indexing services so if you would like me to test specific services feel free to let me know. I would also love to know if you used either of these services? Did you get better results? Do you know of a different way to check indexing rates (without Scrapebox)?</p><p>Please share by commenting below.</p><p>To your success (and mine <img title="Indexing Rate" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="15" height="15" /> ),</p><p><img title="Dave Baker" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Signature.png" alt="Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup" width="154" height="30" /></p><p><p>-----------------------</p><p>Thanks for reading! <br />If you would like to leave a comment on this post, please click the link below:</p><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/link-indexing-services-roundup/">Link Indexing Services Mini Roundup</a></p><p><a href="http://pingbackpower.com/" target="_blank">Get my free WordPress Plugin - Pingback Power</a><br /><a href="https://www.facebook.com/dbpmarketing" target="_blank">Join my new Facebook Page</a></p></p><div class="feedflare">

I tend to check that folder from time to time and see some of the videos whenever I need some inspiration or I just feel a little overwhelmed and I need a short pause.</p><p>Today I am going to share with you the 10 amazing videos I bookmarked over the past year because I really think they are truly <strong>AMAZING</strong> and that not seeing them is something you just can’t afford to do. Most videos just show what a beautiful world we all live in and that is something that most of us tend to forget thanks to the hectic day to day life we all live.</p><p>The videos pretty much speak for themselves and I really don&#8217;t need to add anything as that will only take away from them. I would just say that The Mountain, Les Chevaliers du Ciel and the Biggest Teahupoo Ever are my top 3. Be sure to watch them in HD and Full Screen <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="10 Amazing Videos That You Can&rsquo;t Miss" class='wp-smiley' title="10 Amazing Videos That You Can&rsquo;t Miss" /> .</p><h3>The Mountain</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/22439234" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>The Arctic Light</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/24456787" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>The Aurora</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/21294655" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>The Water</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/30447882" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>Kuroshio Sea – 2nd Largest Aquarium Tank</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/5606758" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>Move</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/27246366" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>Les Chevaliers du Ciel</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEe3xfWfkG8&amp;hd=1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on YouTube)</a></p><h3>Landscapes: Volume One</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/16198274" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>Landscapes: Volume Two</h3><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/amazing-videos/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/29950141" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">(Watch on Vimeo)</a></p><h3>Biggest Teahupoo Ever</h3><p><object id="mporaplayer_5Pgs2slxu" width="600" height="338" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://video.mpora.com/hdep/5Pgs2slxu/" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="pluginspage" value="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /><embed id="mporaplayer_5Pgs2slxu" width="600" height="338" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://video.mpora.com/hdep/5Pgs2slxu/" allowFullScreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></object></p><p>In case the video is not showing than you can watch it <a href="http://video.mpora.com/watch/5Pgs2slxu/hd/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here</a> and if you want to actually see someone crazy enough to take on such a wave than check this video of <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYQQtxb8wv0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Laird Hamilton takes on Teahupoo</a>. In order to fully understand what the fuss is all about I recommend you check the following <a href="http://vimeo.com/31100268" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">video</a> and <a href="http://americancensorship.org/infographic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">infographic</a> as they will do a much better job at explaining what <strong>SOPA</strong> (Stop Online Piracy Act) and <strong>PIPA</strong> (Protect IP Act) are all about.</p><p align="left"><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/stop-sopa/"><em>Click here to view the embedded video.</em></a></p></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://vimeo.com/31100268" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Click Here To Watch On Vimeo</a></p><h2>What Can You Do To Help?</h2><p>If I would summarize what me, you and everyone else that cares about the Internet should aim to do it would be:</p><h1 align="center">STOP CENSORSHIP</h1><p align="left">How can you do that? It’s pretty simple. Now that you know what SOPA and PIPA are all about and how they can change the internet as we know and enjoy it, you can (and should) become part of the largest online protest in US history and submit your information on the <a href="http://americancensorship.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Fight For The Future</a> website.</p><p>If you own a website you can also add it to the ongoing strike by submitting the information on <a href="http://sopastrike.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">SopaStrike.com</a>.</p><p>It seems that there are only 6 days to go until the PIPA bill is going to be voted on. You can check out <a href="http://sopacountdown.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">SopaCountdown.com</a> to find out more information about SOPA and PIPA and what you can do to help.</p><h1 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">Don&#8217;t let the US Senate <span style="text-decoration: underline;">DESTROY</span> the Internet as we know it. Say hello to <strong>Backup Creator</strong>.</p><p align="center"><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/backupcreator" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Computer logo" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backup-Creator-Logo.png" alt="Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin" width="600" height="131" border="0" /></a></p><h2>Backup Creator Overview</h2><table width="305" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="81">Name:</td><td valign="top" width="222"><strong>Backup Creator</strong></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="81">Creator:</td><td valign="top" width="222">Robert Plank</td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="81">Focus:</td><td valign="top" width="222">WordPress Backup &amp; Clone</td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="81">Price:</td><td valign="top" width="222">$47 (multi license)</td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="81">Website:</td><td valign="top" width="222"><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/backupcreator" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.backupcreator.com/</a></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="81"></td><td valign="top" width="222"></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="81"></td><td valign="top" width="222"></td></tr></tbody></table><h2>Why Is Backup Creator So Good?</h2><p>It is super easy to use and it works 100% of the times and both of these facts are not very common to the other WordPress cloning tools I tried and tested over the past year.</p><p>As you can figure out from the name of the plugin, it is mostly intended for WordPress backup purposes which is something I already got covered thanks to <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/backupbuddy-wordpress-backup-plugin/" target="_blank">BackupBuddy</a> so the main reason I bought <strong>Backup Creator</strong> was for the cloning feature it has as that is a must have for anyone building dozens of sites every months for whatever purpose.</p><p>Since I am building dozens of AdSense sites I could really use a good WordPress cloning tool but due to the bad experiences I had with other similar plugins and services I didn’t get my hopes up but decided to test it out since it was recommended by someone I trust and value his opinion.</p><h2>How Does Backup Creator Work?</h2><p>One you finish installing <strong>Backup Creator</strong> on your blog and you will enter your license information you will see the following screen:</p><p><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Backup_Creator" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backup_Creator.png" alt="Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin" width="420" height="310" border="0" /></p><p>All you need to do is click the Backup This Site button and let it do what it does and backup your entire WordPress installation (Content, Themes, Plugins, Settings).</p><p>Once the backup is complete you will be able to download the <em>Backup Creator</em> plugin again and this time it will have the latest backup you created saved so when you go the new WordPress blog on which you want to clone the site you just backed up you simply add the plugin you just downloaded and when you get to the main screen you will see a URL showing in the box:</p><p><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Backup_Creator_01" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Backup_Creator_01.png" alt="Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin" width="420" height="310" border="0" /></p><p>Simply select the Restore from URL option and clicked the Restore From Backup button and that’s it. It will clone the backup site onto the new WordPress site with all the content, themes, plugins, settings and anything else you can think of. Something that really surprised me is the fact that the plugin knows to change the URL in various settings from the URL of the site you are looking to clone to the URL of the site your are cloning on to.</p><p>That ability saves me even more time since I don’t need to go over some of the setting and change the URL manually. Just to explain what I mean I will provide you with an example. One of the theme I am using to create AdSense sites is the <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/best-adsense-ready-wordpress-theme/" target="_blank">Heatmap Theme</a> and in the theme settings I can determine what to show in the various footer locations and I usually link to pages on the site.</p><p>After I created my master backup of an AdSense site and I clone it to a new WordPress installation I created I don’t need to edit the URLs since they are automatically changed to the URL of the new WordPress site I am cloning on to. I was fully prepared to manually edit some settings so it really surprised me that I didn’t need to do that:).</p><h2>Why I love Backup Creator?</h2><p>Besides the fact that <strong>backup creator</strong> is super easy to use and that it actually works much better than expected, I also love the low price ($47) and the fact that Robert didn’t do what most other premium WordPress plugin developers do and that is to provide a single site license for the low price and hope that everyone will pay more for a multi site license.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Backup Creator</span> comes with a multi site license for a very affordable price (I would have paid much more for the time this plugins saved and going to save me) and if you want to be able to use it on your clients sites or sites you end up selling than you will need the developer version which will cost an additional $47.</p><p>The support is great and I doubt if you will even need it. In the members area you will find your license key, an installation guide and an installation video so you are well covered. In case you do have problems, you can simply submit a ticket via the helpdesk.</p><h2>Bottom Line</h2><p>I have cloned dozens of sites so far with <em>Backup Creator</em> and it worked 100% of the times. It is so easy to use and all it takes it to simply know how to add a new plugin to WordPress which is something everyone operating WordPress sites knows how to do. No need to use any PHP scripts or anything else that might complicate the process.</p><p>I have created master backups for the various types of sites I usually create (and I recommend you do that same) and once that is done it really takes me under 1 minute to have a ready to go WordPress installation that only require me to add content to the site.</p><p>I personally think <strong>Backup Creator</strong> is a must have for anyone creating new sites on a regular basis and the time it will help you save is worth 100 times the price of the plugin.</p><div class='ta-box ta-yellow'><div class='ta-box-content'><h1 align="center"><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/backupcreator" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Get Backup Creator Today</a></h1><h1 align="center"><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/backupcreator" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">And Start Saving Time Tomorrow</a></h1></div></div><p align="left">To your success (and mine <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt="Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin" class='wp-smiley' title="Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin" /> ),</p><p align="left"><img title="Dave Baker" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Signature.png" alt="Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin" /></p><p><p>-----------------------</p><p>Thanks for reading! <br />If you would like to leave a comment on this post, please click the link below:</p><p><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/backup-creator-review/">Backup Creator, The Best WordPress Cloning Plugin</a></p><p><a href="http://pingbackpower.com/" target="_blank">Get my free WordPress Plugin - Pingback Power</a><br /><a href="https://www.facebook.com/dbpmarketing" target="_blank">Join my new Facebook Page</a></p></p><div class="feedflare">

It seems that I really can’t answer the question of why I haven’t written such a review and believe me, I asked myself. The important thing is that I have finally found the time to write my own Thesis Review based on my personal experience with this theme over the past 18 months or so.</p><h2><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesistheme" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img class="alignright wp-image-4892" title="thesis theme" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/thesis-theme-300x250.png" alt="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" width="270" height="225" /></a>Thesis Theme Overview</h2><table width="295" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="98">Name</td><td valign="top" width="195"><strong>Thesis Theme</strong></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="98">Creator</td><td valign="top" width="195">Chris Pearson</td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="98">Focus</td><td valign="top" width="195">WordPress Theme Framework</td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="98">Price</td><td valign="top" width="195">$87 / $164</td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="98">Website</td><td valign="top" width="195"><a title="Thesis Theme" href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesistheme" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://diythemes.com/</a></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" width="98"></td><td valign="top" width="195"></td></tr></tbody></table><h2>What Is Thesis?</h2><p><strong>Thesis</strong> is actually a WordPress theme framework and it is different than most of the other premium WordPress Themes you might know. A Theme framework is a Theme designed to be a flexible foundation for quicker WordPress development, usually serving as a robust Parent Theme for Skins or Child Themes. Some Theme frameworks can also make theme development more accessible by removing the need for programming or design knowledge with options pages.</p><p>As a theme framework, Thesis allows for extreme customizability &amp; flexibility to enable a developer to build anything on top of the parent framework. The use of hooks allows for easy development of skins and child themes and the ability to add anything you want to just about anywhere you want. It comes with easy to use options which will enable you to customize the theme on the fly and without any coding or programming knowledge.</p><h2>Thesis Theme Design</h2><p>As you should have realized by now, Thesis is a very customizable theme and you can change it quite a bit without any programing or coding skills by simply playing with the various options it has which are divided into:</p><h3>Site Options</h3><p align="center"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Thesis_Site_Options" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Thesis_Site_Options.png" alt="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" width="594" height="544" border="0" /></p><h3 align="left">Design Options</h3><p align="center"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Thesis_Design_Options" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Thesis_Design_Options.png" alt="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" width="594" height="540" border="0" /></p><p align="left">I don’t see any reason to go into every option as I’m sure you get the point by seeing the above screenshots. There is little you can’t control, edit or change from these options.</p><h3 align="left">Thesis Showcase</h3><p align="left">What is great about <strong>Thesis</strong> is that you can customize it to such extent that no one will really be able to tell that your blog is actually running on Thesis. Just take a look at the <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesis-showcase" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Thesis Showcase</a> page and check some of the blogs that are listed there to see how different they look. When you do that keep in mind that the Thesis theme site, <a title="Thesis Theme" href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesistheme" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://diythemes.com/</a>, is obviously running on Thesis but you wouldn’t really be able to tell that as it doesn’t look like it at all.</p><h3 align="left">Thesis OpenHook, a Must Have Plugin</h3><p align="left">To take full advantage of the hooks feature that comes with the Thesis framework and making it as easy as possible to use, you will probably want to install the free <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/thesis-openhook/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Thesis OpenHook plugin</a>. This plugin will make it easier and simpler to modify Thesis and in order to better understand how it works you can watch this <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgTeEXh6RR0" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">video on YouTube</a>.</p><p align="left">I really don’t know where to start explaining to you about the hooks feature so I think you will be better off reading <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesis-howhooks" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">How to Customize Your Site Intelligently with Hooks</a> and checking the <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesis-hooks" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Thesis Hook Reference List</a>.</p><h2>Thesis Theme and SEO</h2><p><strong>Thesis</strong> has always been known for its great SEO support and it is one of its main features. It ads an SEO Details and Additional Style to any post or page edit screen and allows you to add the relevant SEO information.</p><p>I personally installed the plugin <a href="http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">WordPress SEO by Yoast</a> and I don’t use the built in SEO features of Thesis but that is not something you must do. I decided to do it and I don’t really know if that is the right thing to do or not. Just letting you know what I did and in regard to this specific WordPress SEO plugin and Thesis there has been quite a stir in the online community when Chris Pearson didn’t agree to support Yoast’s plugin on Thesis as he feels that the theme should handle SEO and not a 3rd party plugin.</p><p>Whether or not that is the right perspective is up to you to decide as I don’t intend to take any side on this debate. If you want to learn more about this issue you can check out what <a href="http://yoast.com/themes-plugins-seo/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Yoast had to say</a> and be sure to read the comments to get the full story.</p><p>The bottom line is that I use Thesis in combination with Yoast’s plugin and it works great for me and I don’t see any conflicts or problems.</p><p>Another thing that many Thesis fans use to prove that it is a great theme when it comes to SEO is the fact that <a href="http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Matt Cutts</a>, the head of Google’s Webspam team, is using Thesis to run his popular blog and if Matt Cutts uses Thesis than you can be sure it is a great theme, especially when it comes to SEO.</p><h2>Thesis Theme Support</h2><p>The support for <em>Thesis</em> is without a doubt one of the best things about it. You get a complete and updated Thesis <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesis-guide" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">User Guide</a> that will go over everything you need to know about the theme. More importantly, you will get access to the <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesis-forum" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Thesis Theme forums</a> (only members get access) where you can find answers to whatever questions or problems you might have.</p><p>The <strong>Thesis</strong> forum is very active with thousands of threads (as you can see in the screenshot below) and you can be sure you will find a solution to whatever problem you have with the theme. I have used the forum countless times and I was always able to find answers there.</p><p align="center"><img style="background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;" title="Thesis_Forum" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Thesis_Forum.png" alt="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" width="464" height="64" border="0" /></p><p>On top of the support you get from the Thesis community, you can simply Google just about anything you want to know how to do with Thesis and you will find countless sites dedicated to the Thesis theme providing you with tutorials and valuable information. I don’t know of any other WordPress Theme that created such a buzz and built such a large community around it.</p><h2>Why Thesis Isn’t For Everyone</h2><p>Until now, I pretty much praised <strong>Thesis</strong> but now it is time to be more realistic about it and I would like to tell you why I think Thesis is not for everyone. Even though Thesis is very customizable thanks to its coding and various easy to use options, there is still a limit to how much you can change it without using code.</p><p>In order to really make Thesis look different and add some cool features you will need a little more than the built in options and the way I see it, you have 3 main options:</p><ol><li>You can do it yourself</li><li>You can use skins</li><li>You can outsource it</li></ol><h3>Do It Yourself</h3><p>Customizing Thesis yourself is an option and it would probably be much easier than to customize any other theme framework but that would still require you to know what you are doing. I don’t know what I’m doing since I don’t know programming and/or coding of WordPress themes so there is no way I could fully customize it as I wanted it by myself.</p><h3>Skins</h3><p>This is the option I chose and as you can see, my blog doesn’t really look like <strong>Thesis</strong> out of the box and that is thanks to the Thesis Skin I am using. I guess Thesis Skins are the same as Child Themes in other WordPress Theme frameworks and it basically means I install the skin on top of Thesis which is a pretty simple and easy process.</p><p>The skin I am using here on my blog is Called <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/blogskin" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">BlogSkin</a> by <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesisawesome" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">ThesisAwesome</a>. It took me quite sometime to find a Thesis Skin that really gave me the features and look I was looking for and BlogSkin is without a doubt the best Thesis Skin that I found and I love it. There are quite a few Thesis Skins available, some are even free but I would really love to see some official Thesis Skins from the guys behind Thesis.</p><h3>Outsource</h3><p>The third option to customize Thesis to your own desires is to simply outsource it and pay someone that knows how to do it. A great example I can provide you with is Pat Flynn’s, <a href="http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Smart Passive Income blog</a>, which is now powered by Thesis and yet it looks exactly the same way it looked a few months back before he made the transition to the <strong>Thesis Theme</strong>.</p><p>If Pat wouldn’t share with his readers that he made the transition to Thesis I doubt if any of them would have noticed since the developer he hired for the job really made it look exactly the same as the previous theme he had and by making the transition, Pat has reported that his site loading time has reduced quite drastically which was one of the main reasons he wanted to make the change in the first place.</p><h3>Thesis and Internet Marketing</h3><p>When it comes to internet marketing and building AdSense, Amazon and any other type of niche site, Thesis won’t be my number one recommendation. There are WordPress themes that are specifically designed for internet and niche marketing purposes and I think most users would find them better than Thesis.</p><p>I actually only know one big internet marketer that uses <strong>Thesis</strong> on all of his sites, blogs and sales pages and his name is <a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/guru-trust-andre-chaperon/" target="_blank">Andre Chaperon</a>. He really makes Thesis work great for him on his various sites and sales pages but I think he is the exception and in any case, if you are anything like Andre, than the theme you are going to use shouldn’t really make that much of a difference <img src='http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" class='wp-smiley' title="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" /> .</p><h2>Conclusion</h2><p><strong>Thesis Theme</strong> for WordPress is great and without a doubt among the best theme frameworks available and I think it is the most popular one. With that said, Thesis isn’t for everyone and only you can decided if it is going to be good for your needs or not.</p><p><em>Thesis</em> is beautiful, very easy to customize, SEO optimized and comes with features you won’t find in any free theme and you won’t find many of them in other premium themes. Thesis is also well known for helping to reduce loading times which is now an important factor to consider as it has some effect on SEO and more importantly, on user experience when they visit your site.</p><p>If you are looking for a premium WordPress Theme to power your blog with than Thesis should at the top of your list as they are very few themes out there that can match what Thesis brings to the table.</p><div class='ta-box ta-yellow'><div class='ta-box-content'><h1 align="center"><a href="http://dbpmarketing.com/thesis-plans" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Get Thesis Theme</span></a></h1><p align="left"></div></div><p align="left">Thanks.</p><p>To you success (and mine <img title="Thesis Theme" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt="Thesis Theme Review. Is It Really That Great?" width="15" height="15" />),</p><p><img title="Dave Baker" src="http://cdn.dbpmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Signature.png" alt="Thesis Theme Review.
